Damn. I had a feeling it might be for another story, but the comment was posted around the same time as this forum, so I just kinda assumed... And I thought I had been so clever too. crying Oh well, how can I be sad at the prospect of reading more of your story? Never hesitate to PM me, my friend! I did consider the title "Moonflowers and Rum", as you mentioned, but it occured to me that the Rum aspect, though somewhat poetic, really had no bearing on the story whatsoever. Hence, the now (possibly temporary) name is Moonflowers and Morning Glories...
Oh dear God. This morning, I was in the shower, (because that's where I do all my deep, philosophical thinking regarding any stories I'm writting... And... not so deep, sometimes.) and I was just musing over Sora's parentage, and then it hit me. Lockheart. Oh. Dear. God. I know that isn't how it's spelled (Lockhart), but I just... could not stop laughing for the longest time. <- Is easily amused. Lock... and... heart...? *snickers* Anyways, that led to Riku's parentage, and I just finished... *tries to hold back laughter* a... family tree for him, and... it is the most <******** up family I have eeeeever seen. *bursts out laughing* Seriously, I had so much fun with it... and, it actually, in some twisted way, makes COMPLETE SENSE...
The thing that really makes me laugh about Riku in particular, is that according to this chart, he has three, or possibly four, last names. rofl
...Gods, I can't wait to do Sora's. I'm gonna need a bigger sheet of paper, and I used one of those gigantic sketch pads that are like... one and a half feet wide, and two and half long. ...'Cause I centered it. Anyways... Sora's chart is going to be... rather... oddly connected to Riku's. *snickers* Oh dear gods, let me tell you - the Jenova cells thing... That... that just... really wierds everything up. *laughs* Luckily for Riku, he went nuts on his own volition - he doesn't have to worry about being controlled by her thanks to his Cetra heratige... *tries not to laugh* You can thank Hojo, a test tube, and an unaware (and now dead) girl for that.
...Did I mention that he was raised on the Destiny Islands by Zack Knightblade, who is also his adopted father? xd
Sheer crack. That's what this is. But it's THOUGHT OUT... and actually makes sense... so it's kind of frightening, if you can get past the sheer funnyness of the idea of Zack raising Riku.
Will this appear in my story? ...Maybe. It won't be important if it does, just a mere cameo sort of thing. But god, this was FUN...
...Correction. Technically, he could have SIX last names. lol
Oh - and Aeris and Aerith are twin sisters, not just the same person with different names. *tries to hold in laughter* Aerith is the one who Sora met, and lives in Hallow Bastion. The other one died via Masamune and was later dropped in a lake. xd

No, I wasn't on drugs - that's just how my mind works (God I love having ADHD sometimes!). xd
Okay, there is really no way to verbally describe this... chart. But to give you an idea, the names Riku could actually use (and not be incorrect) are the following:
Knightblade, Valentine (I prefer the Vincent = Sephiroth's Dad theory), Crescent, Gainsborough, Gast, AND Hojo.
...Can you blame the poor boy for destroying an island or two? It's breeding, I tell you - breeding.
*fails miserably at holding a straight face*
I'm probably going to take a picture of this thing... Maybe stick it on my Deviant, or something... *cracks up*
...And don't get me started on Sora - at least all of Riku's family is from the SAME PLANET, if you exclude the whole Jenova thing... xd

I think they might be considered... very, very distant cousins. At closest. The connection's are primarily through random illicet love affairs (not yeilding children) some of which would probably scar Sora and Riku to know of (ie. ZackxCloudxSephiroth threesome, before lots of s**t happened and they all got separated)...

Don't worry, Ipoku. I'm not too sure what the topic is myself. sweatdrop Scathach said he was making a family tree for Sora and Riku, and something about them being connected...I was just wondering if that meant that they're related. I don't really know where the Zack/Sephiroth/Cloud three-some came in...not that I mind, of course. wink And I don't really know what Jenova has to do with it, either....I'm not very FFVII savy. I know the basics, but not the whole storyline and plot details. sweatdrop So I'm just a tad-bit confused. xp But as long as I'm not lost when I'm reading Scathach's story, it's okay.

Ano, like I said - if any of this increadibly messed up family stuff ends up in the story, this is mainly to keep myself from confusing it all, ie. WHY is Riku being raised by Zack, of all people?
