Utakan Well Brightman's a famous singer. Several CD's under her name. I'm not too sure about stage performances though. see here...I'm rather new to the OLC Phan-dom. I don't know as much as you do Uta, that's why I'm not Co-Captain like you. (and I'm not a mod, either.)

Knowledge has nothing to do with status here. There are plenty things I don't know. It was a matter of being responsible and active.
And usually if you look up her name, you come up with several of her CD's or special performances. Just a matter of doing a bit of homework.

Aha. I never said it did, I was simply stating that I don't know as much about Phantom that you do. Well, I've got the active part down. The other part is harder...for me anyways. I always have a habit of posting things which don't belong.

Thanks to Utakan a looong time ago on a Gaia board she convinced me Raoul is certainyl not a fop and that I have no legitamate reasons not to like him. (I still don't like him >.<) But I have learned to accept he isn't a fop. He was just extremely cheated out of his gallent hero-ness by Eriks beautiful voice and horroific beauty. We are all sorry Raoul was outshine by a man in a mask *pats Roul* people still love you! Yeah well, the whole purpose of this rant was to say, no he's not a fop most people just like Erik better.

You have a point. Not everyone has to like Raoul, but insulting him when there is no reason to makes no sense. As long as you see him for who he truly is (a nice young man in love with his childhood friend) then go ahead and prefer Erik for all anyone cares.
Really, these Erik vs Raoul fights get old fast, yaknow?

Really, these Erik vs Raoul fights get old fast, yaknow? Perhaps you are, Uta. You've convinced me against my own idiotcy several times. And I agree with what you said. He was not a fop, or a pansy, he was simply not a superhero who could save her at the hands of anything there was. Which does not constitute him as a pansy/fop/whatever.

These debates will continue until the day all copies are burned and all people with knowlege from them are killed. Not that that'll happen though. So we'll just trudge through the idiocy and continue our Phan-filled lives.

I know the arguements will always exist, but at least we can extinguish them where we are by using common sense.
