::Myyth walks out of the kitchens, a piece of bread in hand. She wanders down the hall in an amieless fashion.Myyth wonders about what her Mom and others could be doing back at Ruatha hold.
Nothing I'm sorry to have left, but still what could they be doing......? ::Myyth shakes herself and walks a little faster:: I need to stop brooding about home, all I ever wanted was to leave so why am I so homesick?!?
::Myyth suddenly turns 180* degrees and starts to walk to the hatching grounds::
I should go see the eggs.........take my mind off things.

We are going now, correct? Telenth didn't sound anxious or excited about the trip to Benden, though B'loure knew he was happy for the chance to be doing something other than assisting. They both had been feeling useless lately.
"Yeah," B'loure replied absently, going over the wherhide harness one more time.
Well. It was true that he wasn't up to the regular rigors of Weyrlingmaster, but that didn't mean he couldn't take over a class or two from time to time! Telenth was getting stiffer in his wingtips and couldn't manuever during Fall as nibly as they had in their youth, and lately they hadn't been permitted to fly Fall, instead given the duty of supervising the Weyrings' firestone relay.
Well, after that accident a few Falls back, B'loure had to admit that the Weyrleader was correct in leaving them out.
B'loure finished up securing Telenth's harness and walked beside his long-time friend as they headed toward the ledge outside their Weyr. Ignoring the creak in his joints as he mounted up and strapped himself in, B'loure hoped the class went well.

((rp'ing with myself... whee ))
They're arriving momentarily, Wrath advises Rayi. The young woman nods.
Call up the Weyrlings, it's time for the lesson. She feels Wrath's agreement and continued watching the sky.
Suddenly the sky has a familiar dragon in it. Telenth bugles to the Watchdragon, and Ray's ears ring with the familiarity of his voice. Gliding stiffly, the blue carefully makes his way out of the sky to land near Ray, who is waving madly at them. Once they are on the ground, she dashes up to hug Telenth around the muzzle while the old blue made happy sounds in his chest.
As he dismounted, B'loure laughs. "He says you look like you've been rolling in the sand."
Ray snorts and releases Telenth's head to transfer her hug to B'loure. "That's because Wrath's clutch is close to hatching, and she wants me close. Part of the reason I wanted you to help with the lessons."
"The other part being," B'loure continues, grinning, "is that I'm probably the only rider you know who doesn't have other duties weighing down his time."
The girl shrugs. "Actually, it's that I wanted to show off how much Wrath has grown since your last visit. The whole you not having many duties is just a bonus."
Snorting, B'loure looks up at Isskio, who has appeared overhead. "Well, Isskio certainly looks healthy," he comments. "I'm sorry, lovely, but I don't have a treat for you today." He holds up his forearm and the queen flit lands delicately, winding her tail loosely around his wrist so she could fold her wings. "My, have we gotten heavy!" B'loure exclaims, his arm sagging. Isskio unwraps her tail and climbs up his arm to sit on his shoulder. She nips his ear, then leaps off back into the air.
"I suppose she is disappointed that you don't have a treat," Ray can't hide the grin on her face. "That and the insult. Though she has gotten pretty big; I'm glad being a rider has put some muscle on me, or I'd have trouble toting her around on my shoulder." She glances around, noting the Weyrlings slowly starting to gather.
"It looks like the class is getting here in bits and pieces. I really need to work on discipline," she sighs. "They were largely untaught, because we kept thinking Katt would be able to resume her Weyrlingmaster duties, so they really didn't do much besides feed, bathe, and oil their dragons, and attend basic things like working with wherhide and studying the recordhides and other ground lessons."
B'loure nods and looks at them. "Well, let me know when they're all here so we can get started."

((we learned how to fly too so you can't get mad at me for this))
T'thia was watching the eggs in the hatching sands when Arizath entered skyward into the grounds
time for class mine
"alright"
T'thia agily pulled herself up to Arizath's neck, it was such a short flight and she had become well skilled she felt it unnecesary for the straps. Arizath launched up T'thia holding tight to the neck ridge as they circled the bowl. Arizath landed gracfully near the lesson area and T'thia dismounted and grinned at her Bronze
"you're getting smoother and landings Riz!"
she beamed up at her dragon before turning to face the teacher of the days lesson.

With a loud screech a green flit appears from between. Eyes whirling quickly the flit sets off on a hunt for someone. Catching sight of T'thia the flit dove around her, clearing inspecting her for something.

T'thia gave a startled jump as the killer green flit swooped around her. Arizath rummbled
"calm down, it's Tolara's flit let's see what it wants"
are you sure it is safe?
"yes love now calm down"
the bronze dragon calmed as T'thia extended her arm for the flit to land so she could see what was wrong. as her arm extended however Oneth, her bronze flit swooped down to take his place on her shoulder chittering curiously at the flit who had appeared
"oh hush oneth!"
T'thia scolded at that the flit leaped up with an indignant squak before returning to his perch and staring curiously at Tolara's flit
"now little one, what is the matter?"
T'thia spoke softley to the flit trieing to calm the energetic creature into perching and hoping to make some sense of the images or squaks sure to fallow.

Kilra did a final swoop around the weyrling before deciding that the bronze dragon. Settling primly on the dragonets head, Kilra chirped. A distorted image of Beriardi passed from flit to dragon, followed by a piece of hide. Almost as if set on loop the two images played again, and again.

Arizath crooned confusedley and sent the image to his rider
mine i think the little one inquieres about this one
the dragon sent the image to T'thia a bit stronger. T'thia's expression became verry confused
"Beriardi? i haven't seen her in ages little one. is somthing wrong?"
T'thia's face became etched with worry, the only one's she'd seen around the wyre latley were a few of the new candidates Rayi, and the wyreleader. the girl thought for a moment and then took oneth and called him for a scrap of hide and a stick of charcoal. when the flit returned T'thia scribbled on the hide
~"haven't seen beriardi, is everything alright at fort?"~
she attached the message to her flits leg and looked to Kilra
"can you show him the way to Fort and Tolara?"
she prayed the crazy green would be able to handel the task since she was unsure as to what was going on at fort.

Kilra tilted her small triangle shaped head to the side, listening closely. With a happy chirp she sent the image of Beriardi again. Glancing sideways she launched herself off the dragonet and into the air. Kilra swooped in ever widening loops around Oneth.

T'thia sighed she forgot that the green needed to be given an order multiple times before she got it even half right
"Kilra, take Oneth to Tolara"
she had an idea
"love, send that flighty flit an image of oneth then an image of tolara will you?"
alright...... the bronze sent the images and T'thia waited hoping the flit would understand her request now through images instead of human babble

The poor flit stopped dead in the air, before flopping to a seat on the ground. Eyes began to whirl in confusion as Kilra tenatively sent back a picture of Tolara and then the piece of hide. Awkwardly she held out a leg, around which a small note was tied. Before T'thia could reach the flit she had pulled the leg back and chirped a quizzical note.

T'thia looked down at the piece of hide. Oneth had perched himself on the bronze riders shoulder again as she knelt to take the hide but the flit withdrew her leg. T'thia carfully reached down in an attempt to take the note hoping the flit would allow it
"Kilra, is this note for me?"
her hands moved slowley towards the tiny creature hoping Oneth wouldn't startle her and cause her to go crazy, to her delight he remained quiet asshe slowley braught her hands towards the flits message.

With an almost indignant chirp, Kilra took a hop flap backwards straight into Arizath. Almost immediatly the same set of images popped up. In her anxiety to get the message across, the green didn't even notice the twine loosen, and the message fall off. Dear Beriardi I'm not sure how much you've had a chance to look over things at Benden, or even if this affects Benden. As I'm sure you've heard we had a bit of trouble at the Hatching. Unfortunatly it's nothing new. Most of the riders haven't had a chance to encounter the...attitude...that just occured. This partly stems from the slight famine that has been going on. It's nothing bad yet, but people are starting to grumble that we, Fort, have been taking too much. The weryleader had only got the report in before Threadfall, so there hasn't been much time to plan out what to do. I thought I'd warn you though. Tempers are running high and we need to be very careful. Please check your records and send a reply back if this seems to be the trend in Benden as well. ~Tolara

T'thia looked down at the piece of hide and readit over. she then folded it up and replaced it with the one she ahd given Oneth, he would be able to find someone of high rank better then the green flit.
"you can go home Kilra, Oneth will carry the message on to the wyreleaders rest assured"
she sent Oneth off to find A'nash who she knew was in the hatching grounds

Glad to be rid of her burden, the green took off after the bronze flit, cheerfully looping around him. Kilra mock divebombed the bronze, only to pull up and wink between.
