I'd trust Jess Glover's Opinion.

I've trained with Tommy a few times, In Scotland and Germany and yes he is fairly accurate, however he has an annoying habbit of tapping his feet to time himself in and give you a false idea of cadance, one or two strikes may be totally light where as the next is to knock you off your feet kind of thing.

As for his views on cross training: I personally disagree though he does have a good argument based upon the levels of retention in comparision with reaction timing etc, I stopped attending seminars even when I (rarely) have a myriad of hours to spare simply because he seems set in the 70's, he even dresses like Bruce Lee oO.

He's good, but he'll never get better. Thankfully though he's not a sore looser and yes he can teach, typically you'll get 10% of the time on demonstration and the res on sparring/further explanation, making this guy lose his patients is an impossible task even for me mad d

Though, on the other hand he's not exactly a brilliant grappler, he does have alot of the OJKD foundations in that regard: JJJ and BJJ but not the huge plethora JKDC guys boast.

wOOt, yes he is indeed hence why he did get thrown around alot by interceptions etc, however he is still good, I've yet to train with Inosanto for comparision, be like two-four years before I have enough free time.
