Hmm... But, pictures without places are like words without context... they might be nice, but the don't give you enough information.

You're NOT an idiot. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time...
But, hopefully, you will learn from this and be mroe careful in the future... Just remember that no matter how careful you are, you can never stop every bad person.

I am glad you feel better. You found out the truth abotu the guy before you gave him any information that he could use against you... The pictures are a small issue, but even those aren't a problem. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

Yes, there's nothing wrong with you, one girl that I'm friends with has had all sorts of heartbreak in online relationships, but each time she learned a little, and now she stays away from them. I'd suggest you do the same, being friends is fine, but if you chat with someone for 2 days online, and they're hitting on you, block that b***h. 3nodding
And yes, there are perverts on the internet, I mean, it IS the internet, after all. Nobody in this thread thinks you are dumb, becuase a LOT of people get hurt in online relationships.
General rule of thumb: Your friends will not hit on you. There are some people who will as a joke, but they'll make sure you know they're joking. wink A little common sense will go a long way.

I like your samples - especially the first one! i would like a picture of my avatar as a white fox, or wolf >__< if you have the time inclination, or if you want you could just draw me a fox or wolf with white/grey fur and bright yellow eyes <33
