((So Les Mis-ish! ^o^ heart ))
Estrelas was about to open her mouth and yell, Have you gone mad, Epo-ninny? when she too caught on the plan.
She delicately folded her hands in front of her and tilted her head to one side. She looked like a little doll, completely with the totally, utterly blank face.
Although she had absolutely no idea what Eponine hoped to do with the chitchat (She was definitely from the future- she probably had some super-weapon thing that could make the pirates disappear afterall) but she decided to contribute as much as she could.
"Ten dollar each!" she added as Eponine continued to talk. "I mean, ten dollar each!! That's more than I make in a week! TEN WHOLE DOLLAR! I can't believe we get ten whole dollar for this!" she exclaimed. "But then Mister and Mister comes, but I think we still get ten dollar."

What the...
Wraith closed his eyes. Perhaps the pirate would just get confused?
When he opened his eyes again, he could see that the pirate was indeed confused. His mouth hung slightly open as he listened to the two women chatter on about ten dollars. The pirate shook his head and bared his teeth.
"Shut your mouths! It'd be best fer ya to come with me to the captain. He'll see what's what."
With this, he roughly shoved Wraith in the direction of the ship and up the ramp.

"Ten whole dollars!" Eponine weakly protested, then in characteristic girly fashion, ran after the pirate. "Hey, wait for me, mister!"
Well, she couldn't very well leave Wraith all by himself. Even if there wasn't a pirate lugging her to the ship, she'd have to go along.
"Miiiisteerr," she said in the whiniest voice possible. "Wait for us!"

Estrelas couldn't believe she was doing this.
She ran along after Eponine, whining and crying, "Noooo! I be left behind, WAIT MISTER, WAIT!" She dropped into stride with Eponine- how could that woman run so fast! "But... But it was lonely on boat, and... Smelled! And I mean, couldn't wash hair, couldn't brush hair, and... MY NAIL BROKE!" she whimpered. Actually, she was chewing on it the other day, but it looked pretty beat-up. She minced towards the others.
What the freaking hell was going on anyways? And... Estrelas gulped. These pirates obviously weren't so chivalrous towards ladies.
Secretly praying to God that she would not die by the hands of these pirates, she put on a blank mask and skipped after Eponine.

The world had clearly gone insane. Shane watched as the two girls fluttered after the pirate and he repeated the virtues of NOT shooting himself in the head under his breath. Shoving the pistol in a mock holster from his belt, he huffed and followed after the party.
Glancing at the leering faces of the pirates, his thoughts returned to the girls he was with. Under all costs he'd have to protect them. Maybe the didn't understand what pirates DID to foreign women... but he knew and wasn't about to watch as anything of that sort happened.

As Estrelas and Shane caught up with her, Eponine whispered to them: "Act stupid and harmless. They might underestimate us." It was the last hope for her little schoolgirl jig; these pirates obviously did not have a weakness for women or silly children, nor were they sufficiently annoyed by their constant ranting so as to just let them go.

Estrelas nodded, looking stern and stoic.
"Yah," she answered.
She immediately faked a swoon as they came into the shadow of the pirate ship.
"Oh! Oh! How I cannot see anymore!" she lamented. "Too dark!" she wailed, pretending not to notice that even in the shade of a rather large and menacing pirate ship, the tropical sun was still shining rather brightly. She turned to the pirates. "And who in charge here? Their big rowboat block out sun too much!" she whined. "And it stink too, like you," she told the pirate.

It could be made official, this would be his last day on earth, there was no way in hell that the pirates would not kill them just to silence his two partners. Not too mention he had NO clue as to what they were doing, this was ridiculous! Did either of them no ANYthing about pirates? Well... he didn't suppose Eponine did... sometimes she didn't realize a lot of things, and Estrelas, well now that she realized they weren't spirits he had been expecting a little more.
And what was Wraith doing, dear god, Shane hoped the man was coming up with some kind of plan. Otherwise, well their little party was well and truly ********.

Estrelas swooned again and turned around apparently just for show..
But as her eyes met Shane's, she muttered, "Do SOMETHING!" before swooning back to the pirates.
"Misters, would you be so kind as to say, are you the rescue squad or not? We're tought girls-" Another swoon, another gasp. "We can take on the world! Now who are you and what is going on?" she demanded tidily and very Missy-like.

Eponine stared at Estrelas for a few seconds, then patted her head and faked an anxious smile. Then she hissed out of the corner of her mouth, "I said harmless, not incapitated!" While it was often good to exaggerate things a bit while improvising...this was probably not the best example. Eponine couldn't keep the amused smile off her face; Estrelas was one second a delicate lady-in-waiting confronted by pirates, the next a demanding teacher's pet facing an annoyance. It was...to say the least, an interesting combination.
She mumbled a hasty "Poor Estrelas dear; she's all out of sorts," and tried and seem as if this was all part of a normal Estrelas.

Oh aye! I'm supposed to do something whe you all have gone and mucked it up! A fine thing that is! Do something, what the bleeding hell do you want from me woman! I can't rightly kill them all! Shane mentally cursed and followed the pirates aboard their ship. Twas a fine vessel, though crewed by men who most likely would as soon as kill them as look at them.
Even the crime ring in Ireland was more refined than these fellows. Frowning, Shane wondered if maybe his old knowledge would come back anytime soon. "Aye, and where might your captain be at?" He asked. Don't screw this up boy-o.

Estrelas widened her eyes. "Whoops," she whispered back almost apologetically. "I do not know what you plan, really," she admitted quietly, "But this not going to get us killed... Right?" followed them up the ramp, pausing to look around at the ship.
She fingered the iron cross. God would protect them. She was sure of that.

Whipping around to Estrelas, the pirate hissed in a low voice, "You shut ya mouth now, or I make you." His blade glinted in the sunlight as if reinforcing his threat.
"The captain-" His eyes glossed over and he stood up stiffly like a soldier as his gaze rested on a figure that was coming towards them.
The captain's form was seemingly cast in shadows, even as the bright sunlight shone directly above them. His long, lean form could not be diguised by the magnificent mass of clothing he was swathed in.
A bright brown eye became visible as it bore into the recruits, and a chuckle escaped the mouth.
"And who be ye ladies and gentlemen?"

Normally, Estrelas would have growled and clawed his eyes out before serving him up as "beef roast" for her "noblemen masters." But in the mission, she could not afford useless heriocs. Instead, she swooned and forced a tear to trickle out gently from her left eye (she could not work her right eye like that) and whispered, "I am a lady, mister, not to be treated like-" she sniffed and clenched her teeth as the words came out painfully and barbed: "a filthy farmgirl peasant!"
As the pirate suddenly shifted positions, she peered quizzically around him to see the magnificant figure coming down the catwalk.
Hmmm, the captain was an imposing figure. Not a fat b*****d drunk like she would have suspected, but he seemed like someone that would take control and maintain it....
Seeing that no one looked like they were about to speak, she drew herself up like a noblewoman and put on her blankest, blandest, totally emotionless and slightly disturbing face.
"I am..." Recalling Eponine's description, she said, "I am Estrelas, this is Eponine," she glanced imperiously (but even that could not hide the nerves at her head) "These two men are.... Our rescuers," she said stiffly. "Misters Shane and Thenandier."
Estrelas fought hard to keep the tremelo out of her voice. Fear was weakness- weakness was death.
She hoped she had hidden the fact that she was about to faint- for real.

Despite Eponine's considerable acting talent, there was nothing in the handbook on how to deal with pirates that were definitely not buying your scene.
Eponine stared with abject fascination at the singular brown eye, and trembled with fear.
Not to mention, the arch villain of the play has just announced himself, and there appears to be no hope of escape, while your colleauges and your boss are all in peril danger with you.
Definitely not in the manual.
Still, there was naught else to do but keep it up. "My mother told me not to talk with strangers," she complained, crossing her arms in front of her chest in a very prim stance. The baggy trenchcoat in its patched glory, however, slightly frayed that impression. The statement itself also seemed a little out of place - or at least delayed, considering she was now on a pirate ship, of which the crew was entirely comprised of very hostile strangers.
More for comfort than for actual intention of using it, Eponine gripped the hilt of the small dagger that she had slipped up her sleeve before. She threw a wild glance at Wraith, pleading silently: Why don't you say anything? There was going to be a lot of tweaking to get them out of the situation Eponine had gotten them into.
