Cameron cursed as he watched the other man walk up. Another necromancer, if he were a mage at all. Well, better be safe then sorry "Anything I can do?" he asked the people at the scene. No, I am not going to let my rey get away.

The youth was surprised at how quickly he went from being alone, to being surrounded by what was, in his hopeful opinion, two helpers. He looked up at Gervain.

"I think so..." he murmured worriedly, "I know he's breathing." Kalen was certain of that fact.

When Cameron came up, he seemed a little stunned. What happened? Was it... not obvious? "He got hit by my cab," he replied before adding to either of them, "Can someone see if the cab driver's all right? He hasn't been out of the car... and can one of you hail a new taxi?"

Kalen removed his other glove and checked Skyy's head to make sure it wasn't bleeding. However, when he felt his fingers run over matted hair, thick with blood, he cursed internally. ...It..It'd been so long. He barely recalled homeomantic spells. What was it, now? Right...

Bending over the fallen one's head to block out any passersby from seeing-- well, as much as possible before murmuring very quietly, "Curia." A soft white light moved from his fingertips to heal the boy's head wound, terminating the bleeding. Kalen could heal more of him... but.. what if people saw? They were running out of time. Having missed the other's stirs, he still was waiting for some conscious act to demonstrate liveliness.

Crap...he's alive he thought. Oh well, ill just take the cab driver. Cameron walked to see how the cab driver was. Seeing no life left, he smiled.

Gervain, who had been about to check on the driver, almost missed the flash of white light. So this person was a Homeomancer, was he? Or, at the very least, someone who had a little White Magic in them since the spell he had used was none too great. But he was a mage, all the same. The driver was dead - Gervain already knew that without looking. But he checked all the same to appear normal. His eyes closed for a moment and he seemed to sway slightly before his orange orbs snapped open again. The man, who had previously been perfectly still, was stirring. Gervain had caught his spirit easily as it had begun to ascend and forced it back into the body. There were no obvious signs that the man had died - with his small bit of Chronomancy, he had taken back the small bit of time that had wounded the man. The driver got out of the cab slowly, eyes dulled. He wasn't an old man, or even a middle-aged one. He was probably just out of college and looking for a steady job.

Skyy could feel the wound close over, leaving a dull numbness in its wake. Better than the sting of an open cut, though. But.. what had caused such to happen? Surely he couldn't have just lost feeling, could he? He began to wonder if anything else had been injured, but he lacked the energy to move too much in order to check.

Once more, he opened his eyes to see the red-head now hovering over him. Just him being there felt incredibly warm despite laying on the cold, cold ground. Skyy blinked once and tilted his head slightly, unaware of the fact that there were three mages all dangerousy close to one another.

"Nn.. Is it too late to apologize?" he asked, voice quiet and almost straining.

"DAMMIT!!!" Cameron yelled as the driver got out. Ignoring the looks from all around him, he stormed off to the graveyard.

Kalen didn't notice what Gervain's actions were, for he was far too concerned with the boy on the ground. He pulled back slightly after using the healing spell to see if it had changed the boy's appearance at all. He was utterly relieved to see those eyes open. ... but... wait a second!

Cerulean hues widened in recognition, with the quiet inquiry. "Oh, god... You're... that guy," he stated with a frown. "From the coffee house. ..."

Kalen couldn't believe this! He'd hit this guy? But, despite how peeved he'd been before, the accident and the relief that he'd healed him to consciousness at least erased any anger. It was almost... endearing that the other wanted to apologize at a time like this. "D-Don't worry about it now," he breathed, looking over the rest of the other's injured body. His fingers had stopped dialing the number and he was beginning to brave the fact that he could heal ... a few more things. At least to make Skyy movable... His fingers moved over Skyy's ribcage and down to his hip, pushing at various points. "Help me help you, ok...? Does it hurt here? Here?" As a result of homeomancy's capabilities, he could sense broken bones just not... organ damage. He wasn't strong enough in it yet.

"I have to get you out of here..." he murmured worriedly. His fingers itched to submit the call. Insecurities...

"Is it bad?" he asked before smiling slightly and trying to give a little hope. That probably came out sounding more like a pick-up line: "You look great..."

For a moment when Kalen recognized him, Skyy thought he may just get up and leave him there in the road. A blanket of relief fell over him when the boy remained with him, though. Even seemed to want to help. He focused on the fingers probing for injuries.

A small grin of his own cracked with Kalen's last comment. Blood matted in his hair, laying in the road in the middle of New York.. He was pretty sure the boy wasn't being entirely sincere. "Thanks," he muttered. Once Kalen's fingers pressed into his lower left of his ribcage, he sharply sucked in air through clenched teeth. "Ow, ow.. There." He shrunk away from the pressing hand. It was obvious he was holding back any loud howls of pain by the concentrated crease in his brow.

Releasing a deep breathe, he nodded. "Yeah, there," he confirmed, before trying to move his leg. "My ankle as well.. I don't think it's broken, though. Probably just a sprain."

Kalen frowned as he earned the violent reaction. s**t. Broken ribs... This was bad. What if a lung was damaged? He nodded, understanding the other's pain and absorbing the injury's severity. "O-Okay," he breathed, "You, um, you're going to be just fine... I'm just going to set the bone, ok?" He lied, hoping if he could heal it partially, the hospital could do the rest and he need not give himself totally away to Skyy.

He began unbuttoning Skyy's jacket. He needed straight contact with the skin to make it work. "I have to feel the bone... so, um... I need to put my hand under your shirt.... okay? I won't look..."

This is exactly what I was hinking about thought Cameron. I'm a failure. I can't even collect one body without others messing me up. He sat on a grave. What's the point anymore? Cameron started to cry. I'm an embarresment to my mom's name. He pulled out a knife from his pocket. Well, not for long.

Skyy didn't know what he dreaded the most- Further pressure to the broken bones or the cold air that would leak through to his exposed skin. Both would be pretty bad. He lightly chewed on his bottom lip and nodded, keeping his hands flats on the ground so he wouldn't push Kalen's hands away. Tilting his head back against the road, he readied himself for the pain to come.

"Don't try any funny business," he said, trying to add what sarcasm he could to his tone. "I am injured, afterall."

Kalen finished opening his jacket before slipping a heated hand underneath the other's sweater. His body heat had countered the cold. "And I am not interested in anything 'funny,'" he responded, feeling that broken bone. There was terrible bruising as a result of the injury, no doubt. But... he could heal that later. Pressing his palm against the ribs where the injury was, he mumbled the cure spell under his breath and the broken bones mended, but were very weak. He kept a look of concern as he removed his hand and buttoned his jacket once more. "Okay... I'm going to get an ambulance here..."

Dialing 911, he gave their position in the city and then... all they could do was wait for the paramedics to get there.

Skyy was pleasantly surprised when he expectation of cold fingers was greeted with warm digits instead. But such a pleasantry was erased as he restrained himself from arching his back against the pain of Kalen's pressing palm. His eyes clenched, gritted his teeth. Anything he could do not to verbalize how he felt. He had never heard of anyone setting a bone as simply as that, but he wasn't in much of a position to question it at the moment.

"Ambulance.. right," he mumbled, having began to breathe somewhat heavily. It wasn't long before he heard the sirens closing in on their location; Something that wanted to strike at an unwanted memory within him. He shook it off, looking up at Kalen, spotting that concerned expression still imprinted on his face.

"Hey.. Thanks," he said. "And... I really am sorry."

Cameron placed the knife on his arm. He tried to continue, but it wouldn't budge. Move, dammit he thought to himself. But with no luck, he threw the knife across the graveyard. He put his face into his hands and began to weep.

This time, Gervain's sharp eyes caught the small hintof magic. Eyes narrowing, he stepped closer to the pair, fingers from his left hand unconsciously rubbing at his pact ring. THe metal wasn't cold from the weather... or warm from his skin. It was nuetral, always nuetral. He had learned to live with that throught the years, but he always found it strange. Perhaps it was simply due to the fact that the rings had to be nuetral... Cryomancers wouldn't be happy if it warmed and Pyromancers would hate it if it was cold. So it remained nuetral. Mind returning to the present, he took another step closer to the pair, right hand shifting so that his sleeve fell over the ring again. He couldn't allow others to know... not until he had Shadi again. "What was that?" he asked, feigning innocence. He successfully pulled off an expression of confused curiosity, but there was something... a glint of some cruel slyness that remained in his eyes.
