-A soft sigh of contentment touched the king as he listened to the low voice of the male, almost as if it were a song.. or some old tale. That's how he felt about the lands too after all, the sight he saw in his more wonderful of dreams.
His eyes opened softly to peer up at the rocks, and slowly they swam, searching for the familar creme coat against the rocks. He couldn't see it yet.. but if he watched he was sure it'd appear there.-
-Kami was silent as well, though along with the soft hints of a relived smile resting on her maw, her pace had also picked up a soft optimism. No longer the painful drag and heavy steps. They were so close. And everything was to be better again. Her, and mom and dad. And of course Ta. What would she have done if he hadn't been there with her this evening.-

As his paws touched the stones against the rocks, he just looked around slowly from where he stood, and let out a soft sigh. Turning his eyes to Kami, he knew that he need not say any words of their coming, and merely just stared a moment before his voice spoke out in a low whisper. It was as if he didn't want to disturb the rock itself.
"Did you see your mother up top? I would rather not ask her to come all the way down here..." He knew it wouldn't be positive for her heath, as well as he could be faster moving up. That way it would give the two more time, and than he could leave them to their final words. It was hard enough as it was, a rogue like him sitting in to the family's most emotional conversations. Of all things, he knew he couldn't spend the last moments with the king, he knew he had no right.
"...but maybe she is waiting around here somewhere?"

-Eyes lifting once again to the rock, she strained through the dim morning light to try and search for her mother.. a task made hard by the natural hue that melded her family into the rocks around them.
But finally she nodded softly, padding forward a few steps.- "I believe I see movement at the top. It must be her."
-Worried eyes turned back to her father and Ta. Her heart cried for her to ask Ta to hurry. To scale the rocks and bring her father to the lioness' for help. But at the same time another piece of her heart called forth caution. If he hurried he risked hurting himself.. Tail flicking, she offered softly, unsure of whether the idea would work well or not.- "Would you like my help?"
"I can try and walk at your side, so you can rest part of his weight on me if you should start to lose your balance."

His eyes shifted as well, once to the top of the rock and than back to where Kami was. However, soon enough he just shook his head and trudged onward. Each step was like a slam forth on his back, his legs having issues going up and his paitence in holding the king his completly focus. With every incline, the balance was tilting moreso for the king than for the copper lion, and as soon as they got up he was more than glad to make it to flat ground.
As he finally got to it, he just let out deep shallow breaths before he looked up, and caught sight of the queen coming their way.
"..." Silently he waited, wondering just what was to come and what he was still doing intruding on such a personal affair.
((Maybe trail it off to the next one?))
