He nuzzles the top of her head, purring softly. He then turns to look at the sunset, a feeling of peace and happiness washing over him. He knew she was one of his few precious persons...but he had yet to realize just how precious she was to him. All he knew is he loved being around her and he alway wanted to protect her. His tail wags about slowly.

If Rikku thought about it she would see that the shinobi meant the world to her. But she did not think about it. Did not even pause to look past what she had termed their friendship in her head. Her purr softly joined his as she gazed in contentment at the changing colored sky. How could it be more beautiful than the last one they had watched together?
Her own happily flicking tail touched Naruto's briefly. She flipped it to lightly wrap about his.

Naruto nuzzles her cheek against his gently, a smile of contentment going on his face, his tail wrapping around hers as well. He looks up as the sun starts to slip down into the horizon and a few stars already start to peek out into the darkening sky. Giving a small sigh, he pulls back from their embrace, "Getting pretty dark. Better put the food away so it doesn't attract anything, and you can get changed if you want to." he says softly, giving a kiss on the cheek before heading over to the fire to put away the s'more fixings.

Rikku gives a very little pout. She knows Naruto is right though. "Yeah. Sure."
She activated her DressSphere as he headed to the fire. No time like the present. Soon she was standing by the lake in what looked to be blue shorts & shirt pajamas & flat sandals. in her hand she held what looked to be some sort of paper lanterns. Shrugging her head at the objects she jogged after Naruto. "We can put the stuff back in the tent & then set up our sleeping bags!"
Her mood lightened, thinking about Trel's words on cuddling. She was excited to try just cuddling.

It doesn't take Naruto long to put everything away and he gets ready to head into the tent to put them back into his backpack, but he stops and looks at Rikku's new outfit. Blushing a bit, a big smile goes on his face as he looks her over, "That's really cute!! I am gonna go change into my sleeping stuff!" he announces and heads into the tent.
Once he puts everything away, he quickly undresses, taking his headband off as well and digs through his pack for his sleepwear. Pulling out some big shorts and a big muscle shirt, he quickly throws them on. He steps back out into the night, more stars appearing into the sky. The shorts are orange with little green frogs on them. His shirt, which seems to hang off his frame somewhat has the face of a cute green front on the front.

Trying to figure out Naruto's blush & big smile, but feeling warmed by them all the same, the Al Bhed pulls their sleeping bags to a nice flat spot in the flowers & spreads them out. She is debating unzipping them & zipping them together into one when Naruto reappears from the tent. She squeals a little upon seeing the cute frogs. "Oh! those are so cute!"
Running to him she starts to count the frogs, tapping each lightly with an extended finger innocently. She pauses midway, tilting her head to look up at him. "That's right! I wanted to ask if you wanted to put our 'bags together."
The look she gave him practically begged the ninja to say yes.

Naruto blinks a second, letting the flap of the tent slip from his hand, but he blushes and laughs a little, rubbing the back of his head, "Thanks, Moochi bought them for me!" he says shyly. He then looks down to her at her question and he smiles happily and nods, "Yea, we can keep each other warm during the night!" he says.

Green eyes danced happily & she momentarily forgot about counting the frogs. "Come on then!" She giggled, grabbing his hand & pulling him after her. "Unzip yours & I'll unzip mine & then we can each zip half together again!"

Naruto yelps a little when he is suddenly pulled forward towards the sleeping bags. He kneels by his and he quickly unrolls it, unzipping it quickly and looking to Rikku once he is done.

Unzipping her own bag she spread it over his. Then Rikku found & lined up the zippers & zipped them together, indicating with a happy bop of her head that Naruto do the same with the other side.

Naruto zips up the other side, nodding his head, "There, that should keep us warm during the night!!" he says, sitting back on his rump and placing his arms on his bent knees, his tail wagging about in the dirt. He debates on whether or not to put the fire out now or just wait for it to die down.

"Yeah!" Rikku agreed, a pleased smile lighting her face. Bouncing excitedly she went to the opening left. "Let's leave the fire to smolder & get comfy. We can see it from here."

"Ok!" he says and goes to the opening, making his way into the combined sleeping bags after Rikku, snuggling down. Didn't seem to cold to pull out an extra blanket, so he folds his arms behind his head, looking up at the stars in the sky, a dreamy smile on his face.

Checking to see where she set her sandals Rikku snuggles into his side, resting her head lightly on his upper arm & shoulder. She too looks up at the stars above & smiles. "You know... I love technology, but a machina simply can't duplicate beauty like this."

Naruto wraps an around Rikku, but continues to look up at the stars, his blue eyes wide, "Yea....sometimes I wonder just how many are up there..." he whispers, his tail moving about in the sleeping bags to wrap around her own tail.
