`~[Christine--Daae]~` Utakan A copy of the novel from Gaston Leroux (in decent condition considering I tote that thing everywhere) Ha! You're just like me, Uta! That's about the only book I'll read nowadays. I actually carry two now. One French and one English. I thumb through them regularly though and make notes in the margins and highlight stuff I think is important.

Sadly, I had to choose what language to take before I became a Phan. I actually don't need to highlight stuff, anything I find important I memorize. I can actually remember page numbers of where Erik sings the Kyrie Eleison line to Daroga. Course I don't remember it NOW, but that's because I left it in my locker for a week..oops. Er, but mine has white spots on the spine from me reading it so much.

Some of my teachers let us listen to music in class if we're jsut doing paperwork, though I'm afraid to for fear that I'll start singing out loud (and trust me I cannot sing) and msot people at my schol all ready fear me, I don't need them to come to class in fear of my singing whee

The only music I like on my iPod though is Phantom. And thanks to the mishearing POTO thread, I'm not safe there either. I can't listen to mine without laughing, and the resource teacher wouldn't like it.

Okay! I offically have, after going to the broadway production for a second time yesterday (oh my wonderful luck!) these items:
-Gaston Leroux's Novel (my bible)
-Phantom of the Opera Keychain (Shows the mask logo behind a black background)
-Phantom of the Opera Mask Pin (a metallic pin in the shape of the mask used as the logo, not the half-mask)
-Phantom of the Opera t-shirt (The one with just a giant mask on the front. It glows in the dark.)
-Phantom of the Opera Necklace (one from ebay)
-Phantom of the Opera Bracelet (Matches the necklace)
-Phantom of the Opera Sweatshirt (Has a tiny mask on the upper left part of the chest, and shattered word-logo on the back. Its all black.)
-Hand made pathetic Phantom statue viva ALW style. (Sculpture class proved to be amusing.)
-Phantom Rubber Duck (I took one already dressed in a tux and painted a half-mask on it)
-Soft White Half-Mask
-Full Face Silver Mask (To be spray painted black, though not offically PoTO)
-Phantom Cosplay
-A few newspaper clippings; such as the one printed when it became the longest running show and the beautiful christmas advertisement-- the mask in snow with those red berries next to it.
-Original 1925 & 1927 Silent film DVD set
-2004 Musical DVD (I can't look at Gerik anymore...)
-The two-disk special edition Original Cast Recording CD with Michael Crawford heart and Sarah Brightman, including the case it came in and original lyrics/dialogue
-One giant programe that they sell for $10 at the Broadway show
-3 sets of tickets to the Broadway performance and accompanying playbills. (I saw it twice, but kept my mom's ticket and playbill from the first veiwing)

OOOH! That's sooooo pretty raye! *fawns*
Hm...I would buy the book in French, but I have a feeling my parents would be like: "What? Why would you need another of the same book? Besides, how would you read it?"
I think I forgot to tell my mom I'm switching to French in tenth grade...I know Spanish is more useful, but French is so darn cool! (and the few words I know, I pronounce very well.)
