Shee and Chong came running up to Eponine as she held on to Fuhua. Fuhua's arm lashed out towards Shee, who ducked, which resulted in Chong getting hit square in the face, as he had been a bit slower to catch up.
As Chong stumbled around rubbing his jaw, Shee was still marveling at Eponine's speed- and now her strength.
"Are you sure you can keep a grip on him?" She asked Eponine. They wouldn't be in a good situation if Fuhua managed to get away now.
Turning to Fuhua, Shee began her interrogation.
"What affiliation do you have with Janus?"

The least Eponine could do was act tired, which she did with full power. "It'd be nice if Chong can maybe help hold him," she said, as she ducked again and flinched.
Then she gasped, looking from Shee to Fuhua. What? With Janus?
Eponine didn't realize Fuhua was that suspicious.

"Chong! Bonus if you help subdue this guy!" Shee said loudly to Chong.
That shook the Chinese man out of his confused stupor and he quickly took a hold of one of Fuhua's arms, being careful not to get hit- again.
Rather than answer Shee's question, Fuhua spit with full force at her.

Eponine started toward Shee with alarm, her grip tightening on Fuhua's arm. "Shee! Are you all right?" What if there was poison or something in the man's saliva? she thought wildly, unrationally. Maybe humans were weirder than she thought. She'd been wrong before.
Cringing slightly as if afraid to get a faceful of spit too, Eponine said to Fuhua, "Answer the question!"

"I'm fine."
Shee's voice had taken on a lower, whispery quality, and her eyes shone with rage.
Why did everyone have to be so uncooperative today? Shee wanted to slap the man, but that would probably make the situation worse.
Upon hearing Eponine's command, Fuhua just smirked and held his stony silence.

O...kay. This wasn't working. Obviously. Summoning the last reserves of courage Eponine could find, she took on a harsher tone while shaking the stubborn man a little. "Hey! I told you, answer!"
Looking at Shee, that spark of confidence died at the look on Shee's face. "Well...if he doesn't cooperate, maybe we should take him back to HQ," she said in a quiet voice - although Fuhua would probably hear anyways, as her mouth was right next to his ear.

"That's a good idea, Eponine." Shooting a quick, annoyed glance at Fuhua, she continued. "We can escort him back with Chong's help, and then he'll realize that it would have been better for him to answer when we had asked nicely."
Looking back and forth between Shee and Eponine, Chong didn't even ask for more money. He just silently complied as the group headed off.
