“Damnit!” Vash hissed aiming his gun at Dynast. He wasn’t aiming to kill but he was definitely aiming for the hand with the key. Within seconds Vash let off three rounds, the sound merging into one large bang. Pure determination was going to get him through at this point. His master was more important than his fear of killing people.

Making a quick dash to the side Vash took another shot hoping to make a hit with at least one out of four bullets. Two rounds left, he was going to have to make them count in the end. And if anything had happened to Inu, anything at all, he would be sure to put those last two in Dynast’s head.

Laughing out loud, Dynast again found himself with the advantage. At least, for the moment. He had the key that they needed to retrieve Inu, and he also had defense. Vash was far enough away for Dynast to notice him taking aim, and shielded himself as he had from Hitsu. Each one of Vash's bullets bounced off of it, and Dynast only smiled. "Nice try." He said, wiggling the key in his fingers just to taunt him.

It was now that Unaru had spun to kick him. In his distraction with Vash, he hadn't protected himself from the back. This allowed Unaru's kick to connect without anything in the way to interfere. The impact send Dynast's body hurling foreword, and he ended up landing in the more shallow end of the pool. The key, however, dropped soon before that into the water.

Hitsu, meanwhile, knew that she was of little use when it came to fighting Dynast. Convinced that Unaru and Vash would manage to make Dynast pay for his actions, she slowly approached Orion. She was scared enough that Unaru would be upset with her for not securing Dynast, let alone what had happened to Orion. When it came to Orion himself, she wasn't even certain if he'd want her ten feet near him. She was determined, however, to attempt an apology. "Orion...?" She started, suddenly not quite sure how to word an apology for something so massive. "I-I'm... So sorry for... For what he did to you..."

Unaru hadn't finished with Dynast yet, he wasn't about to forgive him for what he did to Orion. While still in mid air floating, Unaru crossed his hands over one another as he does when healing, but instead of glowing blue, they were glowing white and the aura was intensifing. Soon after blasts of energy came raining down from Unaru's hands and onto Dynast.

Orion's head snapped to the side startled. Seeing someone other than Unaru aproach him, he quickly wiped his eyes and cheeks not wanting to look like a baby even though it was apparent everyone had seen him crying already. He snifled a bit while talking, "N-No, it isn't your f-f-fault." He said still shaking a bit, he didn't blame Hitsuzen for anything although he was still a little frightened.

Near the end Vash began to panic, he was almost certain he wasn’t going to make it to the surface though he still desperately tried to. It was when his last bit of air escaped from him that Yuki grabbed his wrist and brought him to the surface. Once topside Vash took in a well-needed breath of air coughing up some of the water he had swallowed in the process.

To Yuki’s loudly stated question Vash could only raise a brow and look at him with the “I can’t believe what you just said” look. “And….you haven’t done anything stupid lately I’m sure.” Waving it off Vash made his way out of the pool dripping wet and yelled back at Yuki. “Lead the way!”

[Yay, cheese! XD]

There was no reply to Vash's statement, Yuki knew that he was right. He didn't look too happy about being given a reminder, either. Once he'd pulled himself up out of the pool, he quickly headed for the door. "This way." He said quietly, his normal cheerful tone absent. Getting to the basement door seemed to take them through a small maze, but Yuki knew exactly where he was headed.

The apology that Hitsu had received was unexpected, and the very thought that Orion would consider himself to blame for any of this made her feel like crying all over again. She lacked the energy to fight it this time, and just as her tears began to fall she closed what little distance was left between them, wrapping her arms around Orion gently. Hugging him, she still managed to speak through her sobbing. "Don't s-say such a thing! He c-could have k-killed you!"

Once the assault of Unaru's had stopped, Dynast lowered his arms. He'd tried to use them to shield himself, but it clearly didn't do much good. They had taken on a sizeable amount of damage, but Dynast seemed not to care in the least. He was covered in his own blood, but even moments after Unaru had ceased fire the black substance looked to be slowly fading as his wounds mended themselves. To the demand, Dynast gave a short laugh. "Right! I'm sorry I didn't drown him!"

Orion was a little shocked that hitsu hugged him and began to cry. He was indeed still frightened and very touched that she cared about him. His emotions also decided to come out, he nervously wrapped his arms around Hitsuzen and began to start to cry himself.

This got to Unaru even more. He was determined to make him give an apology to Orion and learn that people weren't something for him to play with. He flashed over to Dynast to go in for another, more powerful kick in the direction of the oposing wall.

Vash nodded, he knew she needed help and needed it soon. Kneeling down he gently started to lift Inu into his arms hoping not to cause her any discomfort in doing so. She fell back into his arms, head arms and legs dangling limply and lifeless. She looked worse close up; the bruises were more visible where she had apparently landed on her head and few other places on her arms and legs.

Standing up at full height Vash cradled Inu like the small child she appeared to be. “How could this have happened?” Vash looked like he still couldn’t believe it, like he might wake up and it was all a dream. And he more hoped that he would wake up and Inu would be yelling at him for eating to many doughnuts or leaving a mess somewhere but the dream never ended. Inu still lay lifelessly in his arms, a pained expression on her features and injuries all over. Not wasting anymore time Vash turned and headed back to the pool area waiting only long enough for Yuki to lead the way back so he wouldn’t get lost in the maze.

[I'm going to need like...comedy soon or I'm going to be stuck on drama...forever XD]

Once Vash had picked up Inu, Yuki had started to lead the way back toward the pool room. "That's one of the reasons he was locked down there..." Yuki had replied quietly. For a moment, he'd considered apologizing to Vash for leaving the key in the lock, but decided better of it for right now. What was important was getting Inu the help that she needed.

Finally entering the pool room once more, Yuki called out to Unaru from the door. "Hey! She needs some of that healing magic of yours!" Questioning aside, he knew that they didn't have much time to waste on bashing Dynast just now.

Overhearing Yuki's shouts, Hitsu tensed. Backing away from Orion slowly as she finally released him from their hug, she rubbed at her eyes a bit. "I'm sorry..." She said quietly, "I-I have to see if she's alright." Hitsu had begun to move away, but turned to address Orion again. "If you want, you can come too. I'll have Yuki keep an eye on things... You'll be safe."

Unaru was trying to tell him what to do again, and it only brought a laugh from Dynast. "If I don't?" He asked, appearing not the least bit threatened or concerned. His gaze shifted to Unaru's glowing fist. "Plan on getting another hit, do you?" Funny, he didn't act like he wanted to fight back.
