Where the hell has this video been HIDING!?
If I didn't know otherwise, I'd swear it was made especially for Jenova surprised
I don't think it's a question of whether she's a good mother. I think it's a question of how big of an impact she has on your life- how much you're dependent on her for purpose and identity. She may not be gentle and cuddly, but she has a haunting voice.

I'd say she was a pretty good "mother", since she was able to get the respect of Sephiroth, Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz, making her their clear superior.

dude watched the video that song is perfect fitting for FFVII the flower part was a cool coincidence but dude she wasnt a good mom sahe filled sephiroth with hatred for cloud (who by the way is a good person)

She loved sephiroth..but she wanted him to destry cloud!!!! so she sang to him everynight to show her love for him,and hatred for cloud and his companions...because she saw the future A Mothers LullabySorry to dissapoint you but Jenova was never really Sephiroth's mother. Lucreia was. Sephiroth was conceived by Lucrecia and *cough* Hojo as part of an experiment. Hojo then injected Jenova's cells into the fetus which gave Sephorith his power. If you have ever completed "Vincent's Waterfall" side quest, you will be told of the story of how Lucrecia gave birth to Sephiroth and he was then ripped out of her arms right after words. So really it is Lucrica who is the mother and *cring* Hojo is the father. Sephiroth just calls Jenova his mother because he has been twisted by the fact that he was an experiment and he wants to be something more then just and experiment.

I think most of the people here know about Lucrecia. We know Jenova isn't his real mother; here, were asking whether she's a good, I suppose you'd call her an "adoptive" mother. We're wondering whether she does a good job of filling that role (Lucrecia certainly didn't). In fact, even if Seph knew about Lucrecia, he might still pick Jenova over her. xp
