Well, uh... Hi there. ^_^; I'm Apathetic Nonchalance, as you can tell be shifting your eyes to the side there, but you can call me Ap or Apa if you like. I'm 18, I live in Hawaii, I've watched anime since the raw Japanese Dragonball on Channel 50 (NHK) and the dubbed Voltron and Robotech shows. Er, let's see... I'm third-generation Japanese, or at least half-Japanese, but no, I don't speak Japanese myself, though I'm in the process of learning, and I do in fact like Japanese food. My favorite dishes are sashimi soaked in shoyu, seafood and mushroom tempura, and unagi bento, with strawberry shave-ice and azuki-beans for dessert; I used to atten obon dances regularly, but that's tapered off since I've gotten older at things get more hectic. sweatdrop
Er... Anything else? Well, I like the boy's-love, girl's-love, and het genres, and have a tendency to distinguish between the manga/anime/movie of the same series; for instance, I liked the Yami no Matsuei manga, but didn't care much for the anime. You can pick out my favorite characters fairly easily, as they tend to be serious, possibly superior/smirky/sarcastic, and wear glasses; some examples are Crawford, Tatsumi, Tezuka, Kagami... The list goes on. I also like the fun-to-watch characters, tho', and I have the bous (?) of having a mom who is an anime-fan, specifically regarding manwha and S-Cry-Ed.
I DON'T like natto, steamed vegetables, explicit BL stuff, and excessive self-gratification in fandom, be it rampant author-character fanfics, out-of-control pairings that make no sense besides "They look cute!", and those fangirls who give fans a bad name by being, well, spazzy and kind of obsessed. I also dislike hypocrites and people who complain without intending to DO something about whatever they're complaining about.
I also want a real, working lightsaber, and I one day hope to pilot my very own flying, fighting, custom-colored giant robot.

I'm Ubitsu, 14 years old and from Finland. Umm... I like anime, manga, J-rock (Miyavi~!) and drawing. I got hooked on anime and manga three years ago and the first anime I saw was Inuyasha. Now my favorites are Yami no Matsuei, Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece, Fruits Basket and many others...
