Celestra turned her head again, "Enough Aith'a you spoke to much. They do not know what it is yet. I see no reason for them to want to learn more either. Be silent."
Aith'a stepped back. "Forgive me Master."
"It's alright. Not everything is like the past no more." Her blue eyes glowing at the man. "And not all are good either, nor their intentions honest. Careful whom you speak to next time."
Aith'a nodded in respect to her new master. "Your order is law, I will now register it with the others as well." Her eyes seems to flash with colored lights before dying off. "Orders received and acknownledge. It will not happen again."
"Good." Sizing the man. He was average. No particular speciality she could sense. Besides possible brute strength. She could manage if need be. "I only seek an item that you will find unusable in your current knownledge. That is all I will say."

Mateo felt a bit confused, but reassured as well. He too was seeking something, but it held great use for him. Mateo now knew that he did not have to worry about eliminating competition. But the question still remained...what were they doing here? And even more confusing, where were these people from? Their appearance was nothing of the likes he had encountered. The doll like girl was clearly a subordinate to the other. Mateo was feeling coy though. He thought he might have an idea of what was going on. "Well perhaps you could put your vast knowledge to aid." Mateo was being cocky, a trait he shared with Faris and his father. "We have found no record of this area's title. Maybe you would know its name?"

Celestra stared at the man. Pompous was all she can think of him. "To forget the history of this place you are born from. Must not be to important to you. Why should I tell you? But if you must know that badly. This place we stand now. Was, or would have been, the bridge that tied the two lands. But that is long gone now. Murdered. And forgotten. It's people, it's secret. Will remain just that. A secret. I owe it to them, they've fought hard and long to protect it. I shan't have their dreams ruined by ambitious merchants, even if it is to seek 'knownledge' as they say it is to be." Her lips twitched slightly. "Even if you achieve what you seek. You wouldn't know how to power it. That knownledge rests with me right now. Even by a miracle you do, it would not be as grand as it once was."
Aith'a looked to her master. Then to the man. Currently she could not detect any hostility towards her master. But she will stand alert. She was assigned many tasks to protect and teach the new Master. But the saftey of her master must and will remain her first priority. "Master. .we can use the one on the Draconis. ."
"It will take us weeks. Even months to do that is it not?"
"Yes."
"Then do not think of it. We will get what we need. It is not their's to keep. But for the people as a whole." What was he after. Fame? Fortune? She's read quite a bit on the aristrocrats of Lyr in her ancient history. They can be problamatic in the future. Money moves their vision not their thoughts. "Your very stance and demenour screams a deep desire. I will not fufill what ever it is you seek. Nor will I be used as a tool either."

Mateo kept his jovial smile throughout the lecture. It was just as he presumed and all of his speculations had been reassured. After she was through, he let out an inticing laugh. "You are foolish for underestimating us Lyrans. The thought that you mountain dwellers could have surpassed our intellect is almost....well, its cute." Mateo winked and gave a final bow. "Now if you don't mind, I have work that I should be attending to." Mateo swiftly turned around and began to walk down the unlit more "secret" section of the mountain. He called back to the two as he walked. "I'm sure your familiar with the area so you may see yourself out. If not, you'll be killed. And yes your outnumbered....but I'm sure you already knew that. Take care!"
Mateo was actually being extremely sincere compared to the last meddlers. This time, however, he felt as if he should invoke keeping those knowledgeable alive. After all, any press is good press. The more people that knew of the family's find, the more retail they could perform. Though, the commercial use of the artifacts was only a small portion of the profit carried out by the expedition. Mateo's expedition however, was the reason their access to the ruins had been so secretive. He was nearing finish though, and was not worried about their existance in the ruins being exposed.

"Arrogant git." Looking towards Aith'a. "Do not worry about it Aith'a. History has a tendency to repeat itself."
"? ? What do you mean Master."
"Self ruination." Twirling away. "Let us go. We have a city to rise from the depts of the sea. Once we gain the return of our people. All they have found will be meaningless if it's turned off completely."
"But Master. You can do that. All is voice activated. And DNA sequenced. It's what makes us automatons activate. It's a saftey device all automatons have."
"Well then. All is good then. It will be nothing but a hunk of metals to them. Mairu zo, Aith'a."
Aith'as inner machinations completely linked now with just one order. "Truely, you are her heir. I will go beyond the earth with you."
"To the stars even?" Touched by her devotion fromr a none living thing.
"If that is your wish? That is already a possible task master. An already possible task."
"So much surprises."
"And many many more master."
Laughing. "Gokuya da na. Aith'a."
"To be spoken in the forgotten language. I am honored master."

Some place a bit off, Celestra told Aitha to stop.
"Is there something wrong Master?"
"The bag is quite heavy." Dropping a sack to the ground with a loud thud.
" ? Master, since when did you..."
"Aquire it?" Chuckling, "While he was flaunting his intellect I was already mining the minerals from below."
"Why would you mine the rocks?"
Celestra eyes glimmered, shocking Aith'a for a moment. Just for a brief, milisecond, those eyes looked just like Yunalesca when she felt like doing something.
"Master, what are you up to?"
Laughing, "You are starting to read me well."
"You have some qualities similar to Master Yunalesca."
"Ho, is that so? Well my dear Aith'a." Pulling out the mineral rocks. "I lied about the truth of that place."
Tilting her head Aith'a urged her master on. "Lied?"
"I figured out what that place is really for." Eyeing the minerals closely. Her eyes slanted with joy it seems.
Aith'a deducted something interesting that wasn't expected. Somehow, someway, her current master was beoming more like her former. But how? The books and diary couldn't have held that much could it?
"You see Aith'a, those rocks in that mountains has quite a unique quality. It can hold and store mana without leaking."
" . . . ! You mean."
"They were mining raw materials to make something that probrably would be a safehouse or something. Plus. The density is so thick, it can't be cut. But, a high concentration of heat at one local point can melt it. Are you thinking what I'm thinking dear Aith'a?"
If the doll could shiver, the similarity is growing quite uncannily fast. "What master?"
"I shall build a better mana booster."
"! ! But master, you know not of these things yet, how can you?"
"Oh, Aith'a, Aith'a. I'm quite a fast learner. Grandmother has left something in those diaries of her's. I've just unleashed it not long ago."
"W-what was in there?"
"Her memories. This is quite a safe place to start. I'm quite new at this. I rather do it here then at Atlier Imperia, less I have an accident. Shall we Aith'a. Now concentrate pure fire for me. I know of your abilities now. I will require your assistance."
"Yes master. As you wish."

Aith'a disloged her hand as a flamer thrower type of instrument is exposed under. "Thermal temperature at a constant 350."
Celstra nodded. "Now i want you to aim the middle, melt it good. While I make an outer cast."
"The Master knows what she is doing then?"
Chuckling, "Of course. Trust me. Grandmother raised no bad gene in her family. And we are blessed. I'll have a perfect improved mana booster then the ones of your times. Grandmother has not finished it, but left the blueprints in her memory that I can unlock. I will need to make two anyways."
"What for master?"
"Oh, you'll find out in due time Aith'a. Now aim and fire a steady stream."
"Yes master. But, out in the open?"
"They seem busy. Leave them. I doubt they will be here in time to see what I am doing anyways. Much less notice I've taken some minerals anyways. It's not the rocks they are interested in. Just the machinas in there."

Looking around with a frown. "I should have stolen a hammer while I was there." Watching Aith'a melting the minerals to a red hot liquid state. "Guess I must improvise for now." Getting the grey white rocks since they were more tightly densed then the brown ones around. Gathing a few, no wait. A bagful. Knowing full well it will melt or chip along the way.

Faris heard a jumbeled mess of words escape from Justin's lips, some that he could recognize, some he couldn't. His attention quickly turned away when the leylines became active. After a few seconds, the goliath shook somewhat as it tried to lift itself off the ground. With the minor flow of mana, the artifact was beginning to exhibit its autonomous nature. This struggle showed no signs of success though, for it appeared to have insufficient mana to carry out for long. It had only lifted itself a small height before it dropped to the ground and discontinued with the feat.
Faris faced Justin once more. "What was the word that triggered it?" Faris knew that their research was nearly finished and expressed it with a gleam in his expression. Their goal was to find the means of activating the artifact and that only. Faris alone could establish a mana supply for longer activity without much difficulty or aid, and any further research could be done afterwards within the privacy of the family's operations.

Shaping the minerals into a ring like shape with runic writings all around it. Celestra begins to work on the inner rings of the item. Talking as she speaks to Aith'a. "The secret is the rings. It doubles the effects and range of the ruby crystal."

(( *makes up some Runist on the spot* ))
"You would need to have a Runist say something around the lines of 'Acomen t'a twar tro t'a ley lina'," said Justing slowly, enunciating clearly while trying to think at the same time. The discovery was giving him a unique high, though his face only reflected a mild pleasure with his work. "It would need another string for automation, unless they worked that into the circuit on its own..."

((*clap* Well done 3nodding ))
Faris did his best to remember the sounds within the phrase. It would do him little good since he was not Runist, but if he could identify them for later it could prove useful. For now, it was active, just needing a mana source. This is were the intense stuff would begin. He turned to face his accomplice. "Well Mr. Vechos, you have exceeded our expectations once more. Anything further will be carried out by our staff, including myself. We plan to make a few changes to the artifacts. However this process will take some time and would require you to be away from your home longer than origionally stated. Our expectations of your aren't that high though." Faris chuckled slightly under his breath. They could have used his help, but Faris and his father prefered that alterations should be done within the family and not with the usage of outsiders. "What do you wish your reward to be, hmm?"
