AnqeIicDemise -At the inquiry, Mimi could only blink, the oblong pupils of her eyes expanding and narrowing slightly as she tried to remember. The past two days had been a blurr to the feline lycan, and it was unfortunate that her memory was so... patchy.- I... I... -Mimi frowned, chewing on her lower lip, hands nervously petting her tail. She remembered Duellist and the blue-spirit from two days ago.. then a small fight with Ryoko..The mud-fight with Ecks and the wolf was something she keenly remembered, but after that it was just hazy. In fact, the last thing she could remember were hearing shots while she peered over Eck's shoulder and falling....falling....- I don't know. Seeing her so lost in thought made Midori blink. It was so odd, right? Mimi wasn't usually like that, at least not that she knew of. However, oddly enough Midori would take advantage of Mimi's dazed expression, figuring that she mentally wasn't with it either. And so, quickly strapping her weapon back onto her back, he would reach out and begin to scratch Mimi's ears, a rather strange.. Unfamiler grin on his face. If it took Mimi that long, nothing important must have happened.

And the blood-stained clothes she had awoken hours after the ordeal did not scream 'nothing important'. Perhaps she was about to remember what had happened-- after all, Mimi was determined to regain what she had lost, but her concentration was broken as the urge to purr overcame her. Dammit, nooooo!! And so, Mimi tilted her head a bit, allowing Midori's fingers to dig a bit further with ease into the soft fur of her ears. Half-open eyes seemed to roll in her head and it was evident the poor neko was surely enjoying it. In the end, she pulled back furiously, swatting at his hand, her face flushed. Clearing her throat, she grumbled-That wasn't fair, Midori!!

Clearing her throat, she grumbled-That wasn't fair, Midori!! Odd, odd.. The once usually angsty teenager bat girl was different from when she left! At least that's how it seemed. Grinning still, she would begin to wave her index finger about in the air, as if she were a teacher about to lecture a student. "It's no wonder your memory is bad, you worry about everything. you should just relax, ne? Good god! Midori by now would have made a smart remark, and wander off by now. This current form of Midori, it couldn't really be the one who left a few days ago, now could it? Her tall bat ears would still give a twitch time and time again. It was as if she was trying to pick up any other noise, outside of Kinpoko wandering about. Even though Midori was acting cheerful, she had the strangest sense that some sort of danger was coming.

Finally, the doors open with a light ping, and Kinpoko steps into the elevator. She presses the button that will take her to the top floor. She giggles, being reminded of how similar this elevator is to one of the items back home. Kinpoko leans up against one of the walls, humming along to the music that plays in the elevator. After a moment, she finally arrives at her destination, the top floor of the hotel. She hops out of the elevator, and walks down the hall way to find the first door on this floor.

The inability to remember nagged at her. Even so, she quietly made her way toward the stare case, a hand on the banister. - Either way, I am glad you are back, Midori. Perhaps things will fall back into place. -With that said, she made her way back up to her room, a faint frown on her face.- ((Well, my dears, I'd love to arpy some more but I got class in about eight hours. And its the dreaded mathetmatics so I need to be 'fully' functional. My half-assed days are over.. I hope. -waves a bit- ciao!!-

*Looking around, Rei-kun's eyes flashed with delight as he heard voices coming from one of the nearby buildings. Clapping his hands together, the boy let out a big toothy grin. It was a lighted building too! Oh how wonderful! All thoughts of hunting the ghostie disappeared as the boy envisioned hot food and a nice comfy bed. He began to drool. Squealing with delight, Rei-kun began skipping in the direction of the building, whistling a high-pitched tune.*

Squealing with delight, Rei-kun began skipping in the direction of the building, whistling a high-pitched tune.* Her ears would twitch a little more. Even though it was whistling, it was high pitched whistling which bugged the hell out of her ears. This, in turn, made them twitch more and more furiously as the boy got closer and closer to the hotel. It would drive her batty sooner or later, she was already wandering what kind of demented psycho would be whistling at such a tone! She'd wring their necks, she would!

*Poking his head through the doors, Rei-kun peered around the room. It looked comfortable, at least by his standards. Noticing someone standing in the middle of that very same room. It was a human! Well, kind've. Everything about this one was human execpt of the ears. The ears were bat-like. The boy's eyes widened with curiousity. He had never seen such an interesting thing. Smiling broadly he bounced into the room.*
Pointy! Pointy! Yes they are! Rei-kun wishes he had pointy ears!

Cheerful, happy Midori was long gone. Spinning on the ball of her foot, he would place her hands on her hips and bend at the waist bringing her eyes down to his level. "Shuddap! I've heard enough of those remarks when I was little, I don't needa' hear 'em now!" ] Gackt ]"Mothers these days greatly discourage fighting between children.. But I think it's good. I mean, physichal wounds heal over time.. But emotional scars never fade. I believe that since fighting is discouraged, and children are forced to attack each other emotionally, that is why suicide rates keep going up." ][

((Yei. ISP crapped out on me. Again.))
Kinpoko finally finds a door, and drops all the keys to the floor. She picks one up, and tests it on the door. It doesn't work, so she tosses it aside, away from the untested key pile. She repeats this process for a while, until she finally manages to open the door with one of the keys. She giggles, and places the key on her antenne, for safe keeping. She then walks into the room, simply leaving the piles of keys, so she can inspect the room without distraction.
