Castle--Foyer
And there came a woman. One that looked strangely like Mother. Yazoo quirked a brow curiously. The similarities where a bit too large between the two. It was either a very strange coincidence, or...Yazoo didn't even know.
Oh, and yet another one. A male this time. And one in clothing that was beyond flamoyant. He was a moving target, really. And he was already proving good at giving Yazoo a painful headache. The silver-hair-ed boy glanced at Kadaj, who was with that horrid-looking man. Apparentlly they both hated the newcomer.
Calmly, Yazoo looked at where the members of the other group were. The pink-haired one, the blue monster, and the yellow-haired-girl had run off. That was of no importance. The gruff blonde was conversing with the woman that looked liked Mother. It would be interesting to speak with her--later. Yazoo could very well admit he was curious.
And the grey-haired-man hadn't moved. Green-blue eyes gazed calmly at Kadaj for a moment...then back to the woman. Yazoo would watch the situations for a while. While he was on his Brother's side completely, he did not know the moving target he was yelling at. There was no point in involving himself. Kadaj would take care of it well enough--and if he managed to get things out of porportion enough, there would be a fight. That was when Yazoo would join.
But the fighting was still with words, and a banter would not harm his Brother.
The woman, though, still held his curiousity. She was Lucrecia, as he had gathered. But why was she so similar to Mother?

Beast's Castle, East Wing
From this window, the eerie-eyed Heartless had watched as the group moved forward--- deeper into the confines of the castle. Now, he was not one who usually liked to play with his targets minds before he attacked, but this was just too good of an opportunity to pass up. They were walking straight into his trap, and just thinking about the bloodshed he could create brought a wicked smile to his lips.
After all, he wasn't called Wrath just for the hell of it.
Shadows shifted behind him as he moved away from the window, reveling in the darkness that clung to him like a shroud. This would be easy, almost too easy.
And he would love every moment of it.

Lucrecia frowned slightly, "Oh, well thank you anyway." she had talked to Marluxia over the internet and got some information. Lucrecia knew he was currently in a place called the...Pride lands? ...And he was a lion.
That part she didn't get.
It did amuse her slightly, though. She had laughed a bit at the thought, it seemed rather cute to her. Though Vincent didn't think so....oh well.
Lucrecia was a little surprised when the man asked where she had come from, she didn't expect to be asked that, honestly.
"I don't really know....I found myself outside there..." she motioned to the door, "But, it's strange... I was in a mako crystal for the longest time. After it broke..all these creatures started appearing." the brunette cringed a bit, remembering the horrible experience of trying to run from those things, it was hard when you haven't used your legs in about 30 years....
She felt eyes upon her and turned around quickly, a young man with fairly long silver hair--just like her son's, was staring at her. It appeared he was with another youth with shorter silver hair.
It was eerie.....Lucrecia shivered when she looked at them. They both gave her the same vibe as him....
She could sense it....
Jenova Cells.
Lucrecia slowly approched the two trying not to fall from what seemed to be fear, "E-excuse me...." she choked the words out, "Who...who are you two...?"

"...Mako what?" Luxord mumbled quietly once she had left his line of sight and had waltzed on over to those pretty silver-haired men.
Something deep inside of Luxord urged him to follow...but he decided not to, and instead apted to address the new "Shuyin" man, spinning on his heel and approaching him in mechanical, graceful step. He also pressed a firm but gentle hand on Xaldin's bicep, his own blue eyes flashing between the two, who seemed to be in quite the verbal confrontation. He also shot a bit of a furrowed-brow look over at Kadaj, from whom he heard the remark of 'Hit a nerve, have I?'.
"Let's not quarrel now," he said negotiatively, "for I am sure we can find what we all want through a little well-planned exploration and discovery. ...I do hope you agree with me."
He tried to say this loud enough for all to hear, and he stepped away from Xaldin to cross an arm over his chest and press his other hand to his chin, stroking his goatee thoughtfully. "Perhaps if we split up into teams of at least two, we will cover more ground in a lesser amount of time, and still get all the information we need to find a way out of here, and then..."
'And then what?' his mind echoed. For all he knew, he had no purpose in the world. He just learned his name, yet some of these people felt so familiar... Larxene and Xaldin definitely were, including the pink-haired man. ...Marluxia? That name sounded right.
He snapped out of his internal drawl and looked around a bit to see if he still had most of their attention. Seeing as he did (or so he thought), he spoke once more.
"...For it is useless to stand around here bickering amongst ourselves while we could be getting something done. I have no goal as of yet, but...perhaps I could find one if I simply searched."

"E-excuse me.... Who...who are you two...?" The woman had said. Yazoo, who had been eyeing the situation with Kadaj just then, looked around to see Lucrecia talking to him.
No. Not Lucrecia.
Mother.
A sharp headache washed over Yazoo. He had been told that Lucrecia was, in fact Mother. He'd been told who Sephiroth was. Who he was. What he was. That information had sparked a memory from within him. He'd been searching for Mother with Kadaj. They had used something called Geostigma. That memory had been stirred.
Ignoring the sharp pain in his head, the green-blue eyes of Yazoo went over to Mother.
"I am Yazoo, and that is Kadaj, Mother."

"Mother"
The one with the longer hair had called her mother.....Lucrecia was a bit shocked, but....happy. She never had been called mother before, not even by her own son. Sephiroth....she knew he was alive. Lucrecia had found him at one point, and tried to explain everything to him....how she was really his mother, and the experiments that took place before his birth...
The end result wasn't pretty.
"From now on....you'll suffer with Cloud!"
Her own son had wounded her, and nearly took her head off, but here, these two were. They must be connected to him somehow....but...they had called her mother.
Yazoo and Kadaj, their names were. She was still confused but....they were in a way, her sons. They were remnants, she heard. Maybe...she could start over, and be the mother she never could be with her own son.
Yes, she could. She could fix her mistakes....one by one.

Beast's Castle
Kadaj was effectively confused.
The loss of memories notwithstanding, he stared blankly as Yazoo - his own brother - had called the newest arrival Mother.
That, frankly speaking, was not the strangest phenomena yet. He wasn't a master at biology, or any forms of reproducing, but he was quite sure that a person could only ever have one true birth mother, and wasn't his real mother Aerith?
At least, that was what he'd thought...his attention diverted from the earlier...discussion, Kadaj turned to Lucrecia, a frown evident on his features, although it was more from confusion than anything else. How come he had so many mothers?
Looking behind her as if to ensure that there weren't anymore women he felt a strange affinity with, the younger of the two brothers simply looked over at her blankly, for once not quite sure what to say.
And like a younger brother, he looked to his older brother for reassurance, for some form of explanation.

Going along with Marluxia and Larxene
Harmlessly scuttling along, every sense alert to their darkened surroundings, Stitch heeled at the Pinky's side, like a good dog should. He was probably the farthest thing from a canine, considering his destructive tendencies and overall danger factor, but heck, it wasn't like anyone was keeping score.
His tongue lolling at the thought of food, the tiny summon made a few soft, grunting noises, dark eyes darting around for any sign that anything was out of the ordinary.

Beast's Castle--Foyer
Mother had seemed very...shocked. Yazoo quirked a silver eyebrow, confused at what could have possibly startled her. Though, a conversation with her over the internet had quite effecively straightened everything out.
Turning his head at the sound of footsteps, Yazoo watched calmly as Kadaj walked over to them, his face extremely baffled. That was right. The younger remnant didn't know of how Aerith was lying. Yazoo caught his brother's gaze as he looked at him for what looked like an explanation and some reassurance.
"Excuse us, Mother," Yazoo said calmly as he lead his brother away from the woman.
Once they were a fair enough distance from Mother, the remnant started into the explanation.
"Kadaj, we have been decieved, to put it bluntly. Aerith is not Mother, but had said she was to "give us another chance", as she said," The soft-voiced remnant spoke. "Lucrecia is our true Mother."
[@_@ Couldn't figure out how to word that explanation. Sorry if it isn't very Yazoo-esque.]

Beast's Castle - Entrance Hall
The anger in Shuyin’s eyes flared. ”Hit a nerve, have I?” the silver-haired brat had said. Just who did he think he was to talk like that anyway? The Blitzball player was not one to take insults well. He sized up the young man. If he started anything, Shuyin would surely be able to take him without a problem.
He was about to step up and give this man what he deserved when another man intercepted him. He had short cropped hair and a beard.
“Not quarrel? What are you? A peacemaker?” Shuyin snarled. “And what if we do split up? I have no reason to be here! I need to find a way out of this castle!”
This castle… it was like a cage. A cage from the one true thing he sought… Oh Lenne. She claimed to be alright but Shuyin knew her better than anyone. She would never let him worry about her but in doing this, he only worried more.
He needed to find Olympus and fast, not hang around and explore some castle.

Larxene walks down the dark corridors of Beast's Castle with her hands crossed behind her head while chatting casually with Marluxia. Deciding that they better find food before Stitch starts getting way too hungry that the creature's fondness for 'Pinky' disappears, Larxene quickens her pace, looking around for a hidden door made for servants somewhere. Kitchens in castles are usually well-hidden so that honored guests would not find themselves in the dingy spaces that is a kitchen, so the first thing they should do is try and find a servant's door which would definitely lead to the kitchen. It is easier said than done, considering how dark the castle is. Remembering what Marluxia said about her wielding the power of thunder in the past, she wishes she can do it again so that she can light those friggin' candles on the sides of the hallway. "Hey Marly," she turns to her pink-haired companion, "know anyway to make this place brighter somehow?" She puts her hands on her hips confidently. "Finding servant's doors is almost impossible when the place is this dark," she explains, "they're usually made to disappear into the wall."

Wandering the halls of Beast's Castle
Marluxia sighed, blue eyes flickering around as if he was expecting something to come out at any time. Stitch heeled, and the ex-Nobody looked down to see the creature doing the same thing he was. He turned to Larxene as she called his nick name. Really, she was the only one he didn't mind having her call him 'Marly'. His blonde companion was the one who had come up with it, was his excuse.
"There should be torches somewhere..." he trailed off, shifting his weight into his right leg to get a better look at the walls as he searched for the dancing shadows that the flames of a torch might emit. A flicker around the corner caught his eye, and he was soon holding their only light source in his hand. Marluxia looked down at his newly dubbed 'pet'.
"Something isn't right." he stated, eyes now focused on Larxene. It seemed that Stitch had decided this too.
He kept his free hand ready to summon his scythe at any moment.

Larxene follows Marluxia's gaze as he tries to look around for torches. There are lots of candles alright, but none of them are lit, which annoyed her to no ends. Larxene caught the flicker of movement as well, but she has no scythe or knives or whatever to use in a fight. That does nothing to improve her already damp mood. She is starting to hate every bit about this castle. Well, beside Marluxia and Stitch that is. Just because they are decent.
"Damn it," she mutters under her breath as she tries to keep her eyes out for whatever is lurking in the darkness. She hates the fact that she cannot defend herself and so has to depend on Marluxia and Stitch for protection. Marluxia would probably not dwell on the matter as much as the others would, but still. "Whoever decided to mess with a hungry Larxene is the biggest idiot in the whole universe," she mutters bitterly under her breath. She hates it that it could only be an empty threat as she definitely does not stand a chance against the Heartless if they decide to appear in this castle.

Heeled at Pinky'sMarluxia's and Larxene's side
Large ears flicking to pick up even the smallest signs of danger, Stitch could already feel his hackles rising. The little creature bared his teeth and straightened, scooting in front of the larger pair. The tiny summon didn't think the Pinky or Larxene could see or hear as well as he did, thanks to the nightvision and ultra-sensitive hearing he had been gifted with, and therefore moved to protect them.
Apparently quite bored with emulating a puppy, the summon straightened, standing on his hind legs as the pair of little arms at his sides sprouted out quite gleefully, antennae picking up the movements that disturbed the air and placing them almost immediately.
"Eh, eh!" Stitch nodded delightedly when Larxene mentioned that there were idiots; he personally liked it where name-calling was concerned, and would never fail to add his two cents in, no matter what the situation. "Stupidheads!"
Then again, it would probably be more fun to pick up more swear words; now that would be interesting.
His ray guns were in his little claws now, looking very much like toys. Well actually, quite a few of those Heartless thought so, but a few blasts and the morons had an entirely different opinion after that.
....Well, you know, those not-dead ones.

Larxene grins as the Stitch creature suddenly got excited over her calling whoever is hiding in the shadows as 'idiots'. Marluxia might not appreciate her having a swearing contest with his supposed pet, but heck, it keeps her mind from the hunger pangs anyway. "Morons!" she yelled at the dark corridor in front of them. "Assholes! Bastards! Pricks!!" she continues, ignoring whatever Marluxia might say about it. "Jackass~" she adds a little playful lilt at the end.
The fact that the three of them had jumped from the sudden fear of Heartless is almost forgotten entirely by her. She hopes that the little blue creature will follow up on her 'lessons'. After all, stupidhead is way too soft.
