Startled at Will's presence, Sora almost jumped even as he listened to the man's explanation. Nodding and giving Will a smile, he watched as Will left, then went back to root around, wincing slightly as his newly closed wounds threatened to open again.
They were waiting, huh? Oh well...they had to move a little quicker, then...
Swallowing the wince, his fingers finally closed around a cool bottle, and he brightened. "Hey, I think I found it."

"Really?" Riku dragged himself to his feet and walked over, taking a second bottle from the crate. "Is this rum, really? I didn't pay much attention ast time."
He lowered himself back onto the ground, next to the crate, and patted the stone beside him, indicating Sora should sit.

Port Royal - Docks (Same as the landing site now that I think of it. :O)
One could say Reno was a little more than startled when Rufus spoke up. He wasn’t sure what to feel about it. It seemed like the old Boss was back, just like the good ol’ days… but his anger was directed at him. That was not something he was particularly fond of. There was nothing he could say in return.
As Rufus, and Tseng who followed him, left, Reno downcast his gaze. “Yes sir.” He mumbled, trying the best to conceal his anger. He wanted to ask what was so special about these kids? The two boys ran off but so what? Why chase after him? Reno was high in rank but both Rufus and Tseng out-ranked him still. There was nothing he could do now but take orders. He was a Turk and he’d be a Turk.
Reno’s gaze shot back to the pirate. “Going? Going where, yo? You aren’t seriously going out on that?” A hand shot to the ocean, pointing across the horizon. Rufus and Tseng appeared shortly after and the red-head simply ignored the other native of this world, Will, run after those kids….. only to come back in a few moments. They were coming back? Well so what. Let them come back. Reno’s steam had run out. He just wanted to get the hell outta here.
“Well…” he turned to Rufus. “You’re the Boss. What now?”

Warehouses and then Docks
Rufus had opened his mouth to reply, but instead dropped the subject, deflated. He had wanted to say something important to the two boys, but the weight of Tseng's hand guiding him away was hard to ignore. The blonde shook his head, sighing as they walked away, following Riku's words. They would meet the other two at the dock, so--- he'd talk to them later.
But for some strange reason, Rufus felt like there wouldn't be a later. He normally was not a very negative person.... but there was this feeling in the air. It hung thick, like a predator waiting for the kill. An unnerving thought, to say the least. He shrugged it off, focusing instead on the task of getting back to the docks without getting lost.
Upon arrival, he was greeted by Reno, who looked a little more than disgruntled at the fact that they may be sailing. Rufus' expression, however, brightened considerably, a glint of childish excitement in his eyes.
Sailing. They were going sailing.
It took everything in Rufus' power not to yell for joy at the prospect. The only thing that held him back was the fact that it would look terribly unprofessional. And he would never hear the end of it from Tseng nor Reno. He hated when they had the "one-up" on him. Expression smoothing out into a state of forced nonchalance, Rufus answered Reno's question.
"We should wait for the other two and then head out. Staying here will only attract attention."

In the warehouse
Settling down beside Riku, Sora looked over the bottle critically. It looked really strange, and...well. He hoped that it didn't taste like pond water, really. Pond water sucked.
Making a face, he shook the bottle a little, watching the liquid slosh around. "Hey, Riku....are we gonna drink the entire thing?" That would be bad, right? Needless to say, Roxas would probably kill him, and all.
Oh well.
Uncapping the bottle, the scent of alcohol hit him, and he wondered if this was why Jack liked drinking it. Despite the strength of the smell, it felt kinda....nice.

Docks
Tseng silently returned with Rufus, keeping point and trying not to be annoyed at the fact that they were going to be sailing with these...people. However, it seemed like this was the best route to take at the moment, and he wasn't going to complain.
Reno, however....it seemed to be a different thing entirely. As amusing as his fear of water was, it was rather intriguing as well, and he kept silent even as they planned to wait, silently wondering if the other Turks - Marina, especially - made it out of ShinRa in time.
Not that he doubted her abilities, or anything, but the Heartless had been overwhelming. He just hoped that as hardy as his Turks were, none of them succumbed to the bastards.
Nodding faintly at Elena, he simply glanced out, silently contemplating. How long would it be before they arrived? Had they received the coordinates that he had sent out? He reached for his PHS automatically and flipped it open, then shut it again, disgusted at the fact that this world did not support the use of cellphones.
Damn it.

Docks
“So we’re just hanging around until they get back?” Reno asked, disgruntled. “I hate waiting.”
The Turk turned a sharp chin back out to the ocean. So the Boss wanted to go sailing? That sure put a damper on Reno’s spirits. He had to sit in a creaky wooden ship surrounded by water. That aspect of the trip was not one he was looking forward to. It was probably Rufus and Tseng’s way of getting their revenge.
Well, fine then.
He’ll let them have their revenge because one, he wasn’t going to sissy out like they’d think he would and two, he was a Turk. He was proud of that. He may not die for his job but he surely wouldn’t wimp out just because a fear.
That wasn’t what a Turk was.

Noticing Tseng's clenched jaw and slightly-furrowed brows, Elena made a point to make no noice whatsoever as she trudges along with him and Rufus towards the ship. It is a pity that she finds the need to be quiet only at these rare moments when Tseng is too upset to actually notice her good behavior. On the other hand, Elena could swear that the ex-president of Shinra looked strangely happy about the prospect of sailing. She did hear bits of the 'octopusmen' conversation, but not enough to realize her superior's affinity for pirates. Suddenly, she remembers a certain bald-headed Turk that is not yet with them. Clearing her throat, she tries her best not to upset Tseng further, "Sir? Should we wait for Rude, sir?" Elena likes Rude; he is about the only one of them who makes her feel welcome in Turk-dom or something. Tseng scolds her professionally but he probably does not like her around. Reno yells and puts her down all the time, and no matter how cute he actually is, Elena does not like him. Rude, on the other hand, is always decent and nice to her even when she makes really stupid mistakes. The worst thing he has done to her is grunt at her when she spilled coffee all over him. Elena wishes they would wait for Rude.

Glancing over at Reno impassively and taking in his disgruntled expression, Tseng fought the urge to sigh. The Turk was excellent in the field, but he occasionally caused the Turk Commander splitting migraines, as well as to wonder if the redhead was suffering from ADD.
Yeah, he probably was.
Looking over at Elena, and silently grateful for the fact that she did not contribute to the Reno-induced headache this time, he nodded at her briefly. Their earlier conversation and her efforts at reaching out to him had not escaped his notice, but he personally felt that the pretty blonde rookie could truly do better than him.
Frankly, just what was it about him that the women seemed to like? As much as Tseng didn't mind - it did have it's advantages sometimes - it was truly puzzling, considering the women he attracted were distinct opposites; the nice, girlish ones with savior-complexes and the fiery vixens who turned heads everywhere they went, and knew it. The reason for that particular....phenomenon eluded him, and he supposed he should probably find out why one of these days.
However, that aside, Tseng knew that in Elena's case, it was nothing more than a girlish infatuation, much like what her sister had gone through a good few years back.
She would find the right one for her, someday, and he really wouldn't be surprised if the right one turned out to be one Rufus Shinra.
Come to think of it, it would truly be amusing.
His gaze flicking back to Reno, he simply responded, his voice calm and even. "Refuel the copter while you're waiting, then. There is extra fuel in the back."

Meanwhile Elizabeth was searching through the manor looking for Will. Where could’ve he have gone? He’d been living at her father’s home with her for a while now. She’d looked all over town for him. She opened the door to his room and noticed a strange box-like object on the desk.
When had Will gotten this or more importantly what was it? Never had she seen such an odd object. She felt so belittled that she couldn’t understand what it was. It surely wasn’t some new toy from England; maybe something Jack had sent him? Whatever it was it wasn’t something her father had possibly given him.
“Will, are you here?” she said, before slightly touching the top of it with her fingers. No answer came from any part of the room. What was this object and why did Will have it? Elizabeth didn’t like it, she didn’t like it one bit. “Care to explain Mr. Turner?” she whispered to herself. Elizabeth then stood up and exited out of the room.
(here is Elizabeth....)

Taking a second guess, Elizabeth exited the manor and headed to the docks. If anybody was there it was sure to be Will. She was right of course...but another face was there. One she'd seen before...no...it couldn't be. Sora? Picking up her skirts, she ran over to the docks.
"Sora?" she said, smiling. Her face turned to anger. "Mr. Turner?" She glared at Will a little longer. Her eyes gazed upon the people with them. "And just who are they?"

"Mr. Turner" Will turned his head slowly, he knew that voice, he knew it anywhere....he didn't like the tone, though.
"E-Elizabeth?" he looked at his fiance, she didn't look too happy. "What are you doing down here...? I thought you were back home..." Will looked around for Jack, if Elizabeth saw him, she would flip. He had neglected to tell her that he was leaving with Jack, Elizabeth never took a likeing to the pirate. Will was in trouble now.
Maybe Jack could help him talk his way out of this one..

Port Royal - Docks
“Rude? I think that’d be a very good idea.” Reno commented, throwing a glance at Tseng. He’d do just about anything he could to stall going on that god-forsaken piece of floating wood. That and Rude was such a good friend of his. It was always the two of them, mono-a-mono or whatever that was. That wasn’t the point. They were a team and now Reno was stuck with… pirates and kids. What luck.
The Turk glowered at Tseng for giving him such a miniscule task. Should anyone have to do it, it would be Elena since she was still a rookie. But of course he walked into that one. He might as well do as he said.
Just before he began to leave, a very beautiful woman joined the circle of acquaintances. Reno watched her carefully as she came up looking for someone. This Will guy? Lucky stiff. The Turk shrugged and continued to the back of the copter. Might as well fill it now. The girl already had a guy and he wanted to be out of here asap.

Walking towards the docks
Funny how the effect of alcohol seemed to wear off so quickly, leaving a bad taste in his mouth, when earlier it had tasted so nice. Pride had already taken Riku with him, and he bit his lip, his brows furrowing. He was worried, truly he was, but there seemed to be nothing he could do now, could he?
His hands clenching into fists at his sides, he gazed at the docks - he was nearing it, and his heart tightened. He promised Kairi that they'd both be back, but now...
Now Riku was gone; he'd gone to see the Emperor and Sora couldn't stop him.
What if he's hurt? What if they killed him, or worse? Despite what Pride said, Sora knew that he couldn't trust the Heartless at all, and that he might have another agenda in mind.
Riku...
It was such a long, lonely walk, trudging along the empty, run-down streets with no one beside him. When had something like this ever happened, though? It always seemed like the Keyblade Bearer would always have someone walking alongside him, whether it was Donald or Goofy or Riku or someone else, but....
Stepping onto the docks, forcing a smile on his face, he remembered Riku's words earlier. If one faked it enough, the transition to it being true would be easier.
"Hey, guys." He blinked, seeing Elizabeth with them, and smiled, a faintly wider, sincere one this time. "Hi, Elizabeth!"
