I'm reading The Historian. It's so weird and totally awesome! I mean, it's about Dracula you see, but I don't really read alot of that kind of stuff. I ran out of books to read and got my hands on this one. I really like it! It's like you can't really help but like it!

♠ Pretty much anything by Gordon Korman is instant heroin. For example, his "On the Run" series is about two siblings who run away from a minimal security farm and go off trying to find evidence to release their parents who were deemed terrorists by the FBI. Trust me, it took one day for me to finish the first book because I couldn't put it down. ♠

Ooh, I forgot. I bought my friend a book called "Uglies". I read it a while ago at school (part of my get-a-book-every-day-and-read-it-then-take-it-back-the-next-day-and-get-a-new-one campaign at the beginning of freshman year, consequently the librarians DESPISE me), and I decided to get it for her. It's rather great.
Other books? *rubs hands*
....Later. I want to play my Wii.

Here's a few.
I've been planning to buy this series for a while now: Blue is for Nightmares by someone with the last name Stolarz. (Too lazy to look in my room. sweatdrop ) I bought the box set at Borders today, and I can't wait to start reading them.
Also bought today: The Midnighters:Book 1, by...Aw, geez. The guy who wrote Uglies. Starts with an S. Looks rather interesting.
One more I think is rather good: Anthem by Ayn Rand. Besides having the absolute coolest name in history, she's an excellent writer with some great ideals.
Now if you'll excuse me, the Wii is open.

Ooh, I love books! ^^ ( sweatdrop I'm Captain Obvious today, I guess)
One of the best I've read, chick-wise, anyway is The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler. It's one of those life-lesson books that are delicious along with a pint of Ben and Jerry's and a side of living-room couch.
Phillip Pullman is good, I'd recommend any of the series he's written. But my all-time favorite: Firegold. Dia Calhoun. I read it once in sixth grade, and I think I've managed to read it at least three times a year every year since.
And of course, there are the classics: Phantom of the Opera is a good story.

Oh, I read Phantom. Also part of my phase previously mentioned.
I recently got all nostalgic and read most of the Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm. A steal at $1.50 for over 300 delicious tales of wonder and delight. (Most of the time anyway.) I'm currently looking for a complete Hans Christen Andersen set, as the one I have doesn't have the Little Mermaid in it. crying

The little Mermaid?
I have that one.
Ugh.
So violent.
My mom bought the books for DECORATION O.o like, every classic ever. Even Peter Pan and something about mammoths and Alice in Wonderland. Unbridged.
