I'm on episode 48-49 and i'm really getting mad at sanzo. Its not like he can do anything because all the demons had the god mark on their forehead so throughout the entire episodes he's idle. kinda watching everyone. And then when one of the people mentioned "are you worried about your little friends?"he replies "they're not my friends they're my servants." < - eek WHATS THAT?

if you've seen the beggning of the searies form epsoad one he does in heart think of them as friends but because he's so stuborn and all he just doesn't come out and tell you how he really feels. he had a rough past as did all three of his other companions (not sure about the dragon yet) but yah. he's sort of the bad a** in the anime. all bad asses have to be grumpy. 3nodding But tht's what makes him so desirable.

I think he doesn't drink enough milk, so he gets kind of cranky 3nodding

It's Sanzo. I would be more surprised if he said they were his friends. Thats just the way grumpy monks are 3nodding but he also tells Goku that Goku is not his servent on like the 10th disc 3nodding

Ditto. In the second episode he also says theyre not his friends, hes supposed to be a b***h monk X3

Yup thats our little Sanzo, the bitchie PMS monk xd and I would not want him any other way.

Sometimes I think he says it to piss the others off. Also if he says he doesn't care, the enemies won't try as hard to kill them to affect Sanzo

i guess if sanzo went and said 'I love you hakkai goku gojyo' we'd all be like, WTF???!!!! so it's kind of his personality and we wouldn't want it any other way would we?

Yeah, I couldn't see Sanzo actually saying something nice about Gojyo, or Goku, Hakkai I guess is not on his bad side, but the other two would be just weird. Though, my friends say that out of all the three of them, Sanzo likes Goku best. ><
