At the end of the hall was a room there was a door with a folder resting on the outside, holding the name Brooks. Two armed guards sat in front of the door.

Erik cursed to himself. He decided it would be best if he didnt take on the guards...especially in the condition he was in. He knew he couldnt sneak in, so rather than half-assing it, he just kicked the door open, rushed in, and dropped to the floor, in case any bullets were fired.

The guards glanced up as they saw him go flying, they held their guns at ready, Brooks came out of the bathroom and glanced at the guards than at the floor, he grabbed his own disabling gun on the bedstand. "What's going on now?"

The guards weren't going the hell anywhere. "Sir, we think you should move slowly against the wall and come this way." One of the guards said, moving along the wall himself to meet Brooks half way.

Erik cursed to himself. With these 2 guards and Brooks with a gun, he knew there was no way he'd kill brooks and get out alive. He kicked the door open again, then bolted upstairs and out of the hospital.

He kicked the door open again, then bolted upstairs and out of the hospital. ((Maybe I'll let you kill him later, but not yet. Besides, he's not really standing in your way. Crooked cops are good cops, in your position.)) The guards shot at nothing, and then shrugged. "Brooks, somethin' or someone out there sure as hell wants you dead. Maybe you should...carry some more weapons and the like."
