I do everything. Seriously. I pick up principles from all sorts of stuff and put it into what I do. I formally study a Jujutsu/Kempo/Wing Chun hybrid.
Korean arts are cool in that they were really informal for a really long time, and all comingled. Formalization is only taking hold again within the past century (obviously). Though if anyone here's ever heard of Kuk Sool Won, that's a great example of lineage. I should have the site around
here somewhere. That has some interesting history. I think I might also have an article around here about Ssang Jang Gum, which is Korean twin sword, which was adopted by Chinese/Scyllian invaders after a really long siege. If I can find it, I'll post it. But yeah, as far as I can tell, Korean martial arts were heavily influenced by the idea that EVERYONE should know how to fight.
