pixiestixryu No lameness, I don't remember ever seeing any in the eastern states, but I was just double-checking. They're arcades where all the games are 1 or 2 nickles to play instead of quarters. For the ghetto gamers like me! =3 I've only seen a few in cities a few towns over though. I wish there were more. On a slightly related note: Dave & Buster's is death >_< That's awsome! Never heard of Nickle City either.

They're like a ghetto chain of arcades, but I haven't seen them outisde norcal. They need to spread! gonk
I don't like the ritzy arcades that are secretly restaurants designed for fun for all ages. stare

They need to spread! gonk I don't like the ritzy arcades that are secretly restaurants designed for fun for all ages. stare Those bug me... I only like the machines that give you candy or little toys or stickers, and you don't actually play a game to get them; just put the money in and it's your's.

My guilty arcade pleasure is I always have to get a sticker or tatoo from one of the little push-n-pull quarter things.
I love it when they sneak yugioh cards into those things!
Some hobby stores are tricky like that...

I love it when they sneak yugioh cards into those things! Some hobby stores are tricky like that... I know! I was so excited finding YUU*GI*OU cards in vending machines! whee And I don't get stickers that often anymore because they've gotten boring and not as shiney, so now I usually get bouncy balls or figurines. XD;; I have a giant collection of bouncy balls that I've been adding to since I was like seven. I'm certain there's at least fifty bouncy balls of all different sizes and colors in there. I keep them in a small Winnie the Pooh cardboard box. (God knows where I got that thing, but my sister has one too...) The box is overflowing now though and I can't fit the lid on anymore. XD;;

I used to always put my money into those vending machines. That and the claw machine things. XD I always used to win at them. :[ Not anymore. I've always sucked at claw machines except the ones that gave you candy. XD I could get like a mound of candy off one dollar but I couldn't even get one stuffed animal or mini basketball, or watch, or whatever else there was off twenty dollars.

Claw machines are always so addictive for me... if I don't win something right away, I waste a lot of money on them. Which is bad, because I hardly ever have money. XD
Those candy ones are fun. ^^ I usually don't get much candy from them though. :[ I think it's just me, because I've seen people leave with a lot after playing them.

I haven't the skill for such machines. I'd rather play a trivia game for tickets! Then I just cash those in for sugar or random trinkets.
@ K-chan: My sister also has a monsterous bouncy ball collection! sweatdrop
It makes the room very dangerous to navigate in the darkness of the mornings.
The coolest non-claw machine I've found was one in chinatown that turns out little ygo figurines. I must have spent 5 bucks in it. I really wanted a winged dragon of ra...

At the arcade by me, they have this claw machine that's monsterous. Ten or more people could probably fit inside it comfortably and the plushies are huuuge. :]
I want little Yuugiou figurines~~! Omggg. XD

They were only of the duel monsters, but yeah, they're pimpin'!
I made beaver warrior fight bewd all the way home from San fran. XD

xd let me re-phrase that: Have you guys seen the action figures that came out that were supposed to look like duelist kingdom yugi? They're scary! Let me see if I can find a pic... Holy raviolli, I found a great one! XD  Ok, now imagine reaching into a cardboard box filled to the brim with left-over toys from a fund-raising sale. You expect a yo-yo, or a GI Joe, or maybe even a little stegasaurus. The kind with the paint chipping from the sides from that time you were playing aerial rescue and accidentally smacked it against the wall a couple of times. But instead of finding a happy remnant of youth, you pull out the 3rd one from the left. gonk

O. M. G... THAT'S TERRIBLE!!! The only one that looks decent is Jounouchi and even he looks bad! (though he's doing a sexy pose...) Speaking of sexy poses, the one you pulled out, the "third from the left" makes Yami no Yuugi look like a total slut! XD;; A really ugly, in denial of his ugliness slut! The Yuugi one just looks plain possesed and no comment on the shrimpy one.
