Minimal care...Aysel winced, a bit. That sounded vaguely accusing, coming from somebody who obviously spent a good deal of time caring for his plants. "I'll do my best to help it grow.." she murmured, slightly defensive. "Ah...but...watering...how much water should it get? And..how should I put the water..on it?"

He hadn't meant it to be insulting - after all, most people simply didn't have time to care for high-maintenance plants.
"Just enough for the topsoil to be damp to the touch after a few minutes. Fill a glass with water and pour it slowly over the whole of the soil, and let it soak in."
Now at the supply shed, he got out a small pot and used his trowel to begin filling it with soil. "If for whatever reason you get worried about giving it too much or too little, I can check it for you, too."

Topsoil...that was just the soil on top, right? Aysel wasn't sure, but she decided that asking such a question would only make her look like an idiot. "I probably will take you up on that.." she told him softly, watching him get her soil ready. "What size cup should I use?" So many things she was unsure of..what she needed, she thought with a wry grin, was a mini-Gardener to carry around with her...or else to simply become more knowledgeable about what she was doing here.

"That's what I'm here for," he reassured her. Once the pot was almost filled, he settled the seed into the soil and covered it up, patting it down slightly.
"Any sized cup will do - it's just to hold the water. Pour slowly, and when you see a tiny film of water on top of the soil, stop. Like this."
There was a small fountain near the shed itself, and he fetched some water in the bowl he'd used earlier. Slowly, making sure she could see, he poured the water on top until he'd covered the necessary amount.
"And that's it."

Watching carefully, Ay watched the Gardener pour water over the soil, and even lightly touched the damp soil, then nodded. "Alright...may I seek you out if I have any questions I haven't thought of?" It was his job, of course...but she thought she ought to ask, anyway. "I'm Aysel, by the way...I don't think i introduced myself to you. Thank you for all your help.."

"Of course you may," he said, nodding and holding the potted seed out to her. "My name is Yambati - we're classmates, so it should be fairly easy to get in touch with me if you cannot find me here, for whatever reason.
"And you're very welcome. You're the first person I've actually been able to help."

Gingerly, she took the pot, hugging it to her chest. Flowers, flowers for Antigone...flowers to give her a reason to approach the lovely Sanguine. Previously she wouldn't have needed a reason-- Anti was her friend, her love --but now...now, approaching her was more difficult. Aysel could feel the icy walls coming back up between her and her lady-love, and wasn't quite sure how to stop them, to melt them again.
But enough of these thoughts, while she was talking with the Gardener- Yambati, that is. "A pleasure to meet you.." she commented softly, wobbling a sort of half-bow to him the best she could without overturning the pot she held in her arms. "A classmate of mine? I thought you might be a One!" she laughed at this, smiling apologetically. "I don't think I've seen you before...perhaps we can talk again, sometime?" He seemed a nice enough person...quiet, although that might be because he was working, now. Aysel found herself wanting to get to know him better...to know what it was that made him want to be a Gardener, to discover the ways his mind worked. To siphon a bit of the peace she saw on his face after he had split the seed, if nothing else.

Yambati shook his head, smiling slightly. "Not a One - I only arrived a short time ago, right before Law class.
"But yes, I wouldn't mind talking again." After all, the Melancholy girl was low-key, and not the least bit annoying. She seemed intelligent, for all her silence. She was the sort of person Yambati had no problems interacting with.

"Ah...welcome, then." Aysel greeted, her mind flicking briefly back to Professor Bardane's class. She didn't remember seeing him in there...not at all. But then, that class had been one whirlwind of emotion from her and her fellow students, and most of everybody's attention had been on the Professor and on the boy he had harmed.
"Sounds good to me.." she smiled, bobbing her head once more. "Until next time, then."

"Until next time," he answered, with a nod, before beginning to tidy up the supply shed. He felt accomplished - he'd actually done some good!

Cashimer stretched upwards, raising his arms high above his head, wiggling his gloved fingers a bit at the sun, a yawn cracking his jaw as he tilted his head back. He had just woken up from a bit of a cat nap a little while ago, and had found himself with a bit of pent up energy. Being a Journeyman, he supposed that was normal enough. And loving the outdoors as he did, the blue-skinned male had made his way out to the Gardens, a favorite place of his to enjoy a bit of alone time. The soft scent of the flowers, the openness of being outdoors... It suited him.

Yalitza made her way through the garden, her eyes taken in the flowers once again. It was her second time she been here. The first for class, which she spent more her time watching those around her. Pushing her hair though her hair, she hums to herself. She was in a curious mood this day. She actually wanted to meet new people, beside her normal watching them. Stopping near a patch of flowers, she kneels down running her finger carefully along one petal. She could see herself wanting to come here, just to relax, or draw. Either way, she knew she would be coming here more often. Standing, she brushes her pants off as she chuckles to herself.

A soft humming sound reached his ears, and the Journeyman blinked himself away from his inner musings. Apparently he wasn't the only one enjoying the quiet and enjoyable scenery of the Gardens. Running a hand through his choppy white hair, the white strands standing even more on end than usual, he took a few steps down the path he was on, and cleared his throat softly, attempting to gain the attention of the young woman. No sense in letting good company go to waste, after all. Wasn't Lior always telling him to get out more? Putting on his most confident an suave mask, he gave a small bow to the female a little down the way from him. "Hello," he murmured. "I hope I'm not interrupting, but... I was wondering what tune you were humming, Miss?"

Glancing over as she hears a voice, she blushes as she looks at the young man. She seen him before, she wasn't sure which class, but she knew she had a picture of him in her sketch book. She let her eyes wander over him before she comes back to reality. He had ask her a question, blinking a few times she chuckles "No tune, just simply humming." chewing at her bottom lip she shakes her head "I'm Yalitza, I think we have had a few classes together. You were sitting with a young man in a robe?"
She was really hoping she wasn't wrong, after all it wouldn't be a great first impression. She also wanted to meet new people, and this would be her first test to see if she would not mess up.

Young man in a robe... Of course, she must be referring to Lior! With a bright smile, the Phlegm nodded. "Yes, I usually do sit with Lior." He smiled softly, running a hand through his hair, making the messy white strands even more so. "You're also welcome to come sit with us, of course, Miss Yalitza." He gave a slight bow from his waist, and his most charming grin. There was no harm in widening his small, small circle of friends, after all. He'd tried... and probably failed, considering that he still felt as if he could only go to Lior to share class and free time with. "Perhaps next class we should seek one another out. I'm sure Lior would love to meet you as well. Sanguines are known for their outgoing personalities, I do believe."
