Bondage Zombie Yi Min Keeping it neutral as in Others not to tell other people that they should keep their child or they should have an abortion just because that one person would. Opinions can be stated, just not pushed onto others. I am pretty sure that is what is meant. stressed And you don't see how a rant thread where two people end up arguing can run contrary to that? rolleyes <---emoticon I never use. lol. I certainlly do see where it is contardictory to what the front page of the guild says. I never said I didn't. whee

'nuff said...or quoted, rather? Maybe we should talk to Nikolita about it. Because it does say that if you are pissed off or have something to say that this is the place to do it.

Ok I guess above all else, my sincerest apologies to everyone. I might close this thread for awhile, or shut it down completely.
BE is right, this is a thread to rant and discuss things. I just... I'm trying to be really careful with it, because I don't want people getting offended and getting into huge debates or arguements. I don't mind debates or discussions as long as people can be civil about it.
But it's my fault for being overly protective, so I'm very sorry everyone. sad I will try not to be so a**l about this thread. You guys can keep talking, and I'll try not to step in as much anymore.

I just... I'm trying to be really careful with it, because I don't want people getting offended and getting into huge debates or arguements. I have no problems with her and I doubt she has any major problems with me. I actually like her. She is a little more aggressive with her arguments than me but there is nothing offensive about it.

(It's the only reason why I mentioned the nuetrality thing.) Sorry for my immaturity on the subject. It is hard to get the feeling or tone that people are typing with on the internet. @Nikolita- I don't think anyone would mind if you kept this thread.

That's what I thought too, that you two were "at each other's throats", which is why I stepped in and asked BZ to step in too. I may sound like I'm a b***h sometimes, but it's hard to convey how you sound over text, y'know?
I'm very strong on my views on abortion and such, so I may come off as such - but it doesn't mean I respect anyone any less as a person.
And hey Bondage Zombie, bite me. heart STAB STAB STAB was perfectly valid considering what was previously said. And I've kept my trap shut in other threads when I could have torn into someone, so let's butt out and pay attention to your own damn business. Thanks.

Women who use "pull out" as a methods of preventing pregnancies are idiots, if they're at least not on the pill and/or the patch/shot. Those pregnancies are irresponsible. I still believe they should be allowed an abortion - but I highly doubt that they would do it again right after an abortion, considering the cost and the uncomfort.. and all the worry ABOUT the potential pregnancy, and how they got it in the first place. Then again, there are some truly stupid people out there.

But they do, this is the point I was trying to make i really think it is immoral for people like that to go and get abortions like that all the time. I dont know its complicated because there are so many moral issues tied to the whole thing. I want women to have the choice, But at the same time I dont want them to abuse the choice. i definatly agree with you scenarios of when its ok, but there are 1000's of scenarios.

The problem is, the amount of women who get abortions in that age range from THAT is SO miniscule. Most abortions are from older women who are married and with children -- and generally the numbers are boosted because they have repeat abortions.
My mum had two abortions prior to me, due to medical reasons. However, those numbers are tallied up and they go "TWO MORE! HOLY CRAP!" -- even if it's the same woman.
12% of abortions are the 15-25 I believe.. how many do you think of those are honestly from unprotected sex? From what I've read, it tends to be a break in a condom moreso than the "pulling out" method.
I actually thought of a random idea a long time ago, that would force women to forgo abortions or become sterilized after a certain amount of abortions in a certain amount of time. How you could successfully implement that without impeding heavily on a woman's rights however, is beyond me. :/
So I agree that women who get pregnant from screwing around are irresponsible, I view it this way: Giving birth should NEVER be a punishment. Forcing a woman to have a child is like holding her prisoner for 9 months - no matter how irresponsible she is. In an instance of a one time mistake, I say "Alright, it's fine". If it's REPEATED, which is highly unlikely, then that's where someone has to point out she's crossed the line.
