Mintaka rose, sightly groggy from her scrunched up spot. She shook her head, and cleared her senses, diving into the tent to retrieve all four of the weapons she had brought - Johnathan's dagger and pistol which she shifted into a bow, and her own twin-blades. She held the blades a little loosely, peering.
Silence reigned for a good two minutes, only the occasional flutter fo a bird breaking it.
Sandrien growled, changing form to that of a snake and slithering into the bushes.
Idylwyle... followed Seirin's lead and dived after her. It just seemed so much smarter.
Li prowled quietly, ready to ice the ground at anything charging.
Suddenly there was a scream, more fo terror then of charging, and the rustle of leaves, bushes, and rbanches. Someone could be seen climbing up a tree, away from something in obvious terror.
"Found it!" Sandrien shouted as he resumed his normal form. "Someone mind giving me some cover?!

Terr starts a little at the scream, but responds quickly to Sandrien's call for backup. What on earth had he found? She grabs Ryllika and vaults onto Rytheal's back, who, fortunately, was expecting that, and the two of them bound toward Sandrien. "What do you need us to do?" she calls. The figure in the tree certianly doesn't look like a threat, whatever it is.

Manda and Fiala's eyes followed the figure up the tree, then watched it warily.
Nash crept over to where Sandrien was. "I'll cover you," he offered.

Syrius stands slowly, she didn't wish to transform while Edward was in ehr arms bt she did draw a dagger and walked up to Min. The blade was beutiful stones of deepest green st in to the hilt a single large gem just at the base of the blade. She smiled To herfrind cuddling the terrifgied Edward "will they be alright?" she whispers, her voice barely creaking in the eerie silence. She took a deep breath and glancing at Min she steps towards the others, she would fight if she had to and she knew, or hoped that Edward would defend her he was after all quite powerful with his flames when he wished to be.
Edward lifts his head and looks around "eat it bad, go away, not towards away!" he mutters looking up at his owner seeing she intended to fight if she had to. Ed sighed heavily "No go Syrius, no fighting today too scared, fire make everything good andgo away, no leave it, bright fire good" he looked up still pleadingly, he was still frightend this new world, or old world, confused and bedazzled him, he shouldn't know it yet felt he did and what ever it was that was stalking them, he wasn't impressed with it at all,it should go away too, far away before things giot burney.

Prox hurries up towards the tree, peering up into the branches in an effort to spot whoever it is that's up there. "Did we surprise someone?"
Teratus circles the tree, clicking to himself. Little wisps of flame trail from his claws. "Covered," he calls down to Sandrien, and chuckles gutturally.
Tenae slinks up, angling his ears and eyes to try to sense anything he can and flicking his wings and tail nervously.

Rhi braced herself, knife raised. She took a few deep breaths to steady her nerves. Whateveritwas lurking about would get a big surprise if it tried to attack her.
Rosaleen stuck by Rhiannon's feet, ready with her claws out.
Nanda growled and circled around in Tenae's general direction.

For those peering up the tree, they could make out the same of a man clinging desperately a few branches up. A tail of mottled grey and brow was wrapped tightly about a branch he was using to support himself. He was slight fo build, and rather short as well, with long pointed ears. In the morning light his hair was a greyish indigo-blue and his golden eyes peered down in terror.
"What the hell are you!?" he exclaimed at sandrien, looking over the others in short glances. He was shaking slightly still.
"I'd say your worst nightmare, but she's voer there," he said, pointing at Samsara circling with his sword. "I'm just your worst memories. Who the hell do you think you are sneaking up on us?!" His tail lashed, knocking a few leaves to the ground.
Tiresias paced the base of the tree, juding if he could scale it up after the guy should he try anything.
Mintaka pushed through the brush, ending up behind Prolixity and Terrenity. She narrows her eyes, and then laughs. "Guys, calm a bit... damn Tanahar, if you wanted to die... and you're late! LATE! Half a day late."
He uncoils his tail and slides onto the branch a bit, still cautious. He ahs a few markings on his cheeks, like dark stripes below his eyes. "I would have been on time but I had to avoid catching attention and they closed up L'sol."
Mintaka arches an eyebrow, frowing. "Damn it. They letting people in?"
"Can we go, like... back to where you all are and talk? Myabe somehting to eat? I haven't eaten in almost two days now." He crouches on the branch, and on his arm is a lash mark, still fairly fresh. "I really need the food, I almost didn't make it."
Mintaka nods. "I need tea... I can't wake up all the way. He's a friend guys... sneaky as he may be, he's a friend. Our contact. Go ahead and introduce yourselves... I'll get breakfast going. And water for tea, or coffee." She turned, pressing through as she sheathed the swords at ehr hips.
Tanahar jumps down, glancing sheepishly at everyone. "I'm ... I'm really sorry, I wasn't trying to startle you." He inches closer to Prox and Terr, and away from Sandrien who's rather much staring for a moment before he follows Mintaka with a short growl.
Terrenity notices something catch the light near where she stands...

Nash followed Mintaka and the guide, Tanahar back toward the camp. He wasn't entirely sure what this guy was ... he looked mostly like a human, but he had cat ears and a tail! He also sort of smelled like a mix between two different things ... it was weird.
Manda relaxed upon learning that it was just their guide who was late. As the little procession came out of the bushes, she headed toward the central fire, figuring there would be some sort of meeting soon.
Fiala jumped up into Manda's arms as she walked by.

Syrius looked at the small man and laughed sheathing her blade "you remind me of a friend of mine, only he's blue instead of gre." she grins and places her fingers back under the still hiding form of edward "I'm Syriyus and the Bundle of Frightend fluff is Edward" she smiles flickering her long white tail her big deep green eyes glancing back towards the camp before she heads for the fire once again.
"oh noo, tis okay, edward make flame if you go boom" he blinks peering around his owners arm at the strange male. "you listen? Listen close, tis quiet fuzzy noises around here might go boom" he blinks lookign around "tea and crumpets mintaka? Or a scotch pancake maybe? brekkist makes the world stop going round" he blinks at that statement still curled in Syrius' arms like a housecat.

Prox listens to the conversation, and after a couple of sentences loses the taut alert stance and starts laughing quietly. "Wow, we're on edge," he says quietly to Terrenity.
Teratus humphs and circles back down to his Dreamer's shoulder, looking vaguely cross. All worked up for nothing?
When the man descends from the tree, Tenae cautiously slinks up and stretches himself out to have a sniff at the newcomer. Are you a shapechanger too?
"Tenae, don't be rude," Prox says.
Seirin pokes her head out of the tent as everyone approaches the camp again. Was there a fight? she asks eagerly.

Rhi looked the newcomer up and down. She relaxed a bit, but her suspicious nature had saved her before. Securing her knife in her boot, she nodded curtly at Tanahar. "Rhi." She pointed, "Nanda," and "Rosie," respectively.
After her short introduction, Rosaleen leapt up onto Rhiannon's shoulders. I like tea, she projected simply.
Nanda stalked back to the camp, only turning to glare at Tanahar occasionally. It offended her feline dignity to be awakened so rudely.

He chuckles quietly, reaching down a moment to scratch Tenae behind the ears and smile at Prolixity. "It's fine, really, but I am. I don't do it much... I don't want people to know much around here. Makes what I do easier and less suspectful." He chuckled softly.
He looks to Edward, tilting his head slightly. "You remind of a kat I once knew, yes... a proud one riding on a man's shoulder in their youth, down L'sol's main walk... never saw the kat much some time after, or the man." He shook his head. "Your lady though seems a very kind soul, to keep you so protected and loved. Unlike some kats..." He quietly sighed, trailing along.
"Tea is lovely," he says to Rosaleen.
Sandrien is checkign the permimeter for the moment with Sasmara and Tiresias, ignoring everything else for the moment.
Mintaka is stoking the fire a moment, a kettle or two ehating up already. "You're really lucky Sandrien wasn't feeling meaner," she said quietly. "So, what's up?"
"Tea," He says again plaintively. "But I can promise too many in L'sol at once is bad. You might need to send only a few... perhaps split groups. Long as they take seperate gates it should be fine."
"I need a sidetrip." Mintaka put a pan over, throwing in some bacon. "Who would like what? Gonna be a bit of a trip to L'sol, but that's our target."

Terr smiles in greeting at the man. She is about to introduce herself, but something catches her eye.. Bending down to investigate, she is completely oblivious when the others head back to camp.
Ryll nudges her human lightly, and when she doesn't notice, she and Rytheal head back to camp. Terr would catch up. Once there, Rytheal approaches the man. "'Morning. I am Rytheal, and this is Ryllika. Terrenity is the human over there," he gestures with his head.

Keeling runs up to Tanahar and hugs him "I am SOO happy you are not here to kill us!!!!" She squeezes him tightly
Pandara comes out from hiding. Something was making her a bit out of it, must be that weird smell and sound comming in and out. And sometimes the sound hurt, really badly. Stupid senses. "Hello I am Pandara. The one squeezing you is Keelin and this is Prescott." She was rather nervous towards the strange newcommer, looking down as she introduced herself.
Prescott was too intrigued by the bacon to say much. "Hello sir, do try to be a bit less.... loud and annoying later please." He was starting down the bacon as he said this.

"yay for bacon" syrius chuckles ruffling Ed's head she sighs gently "I have a feeling theres alot of things about Edward I don't know" she smiles weakly at the young male flickering her long white tail letting the firelight glint of the pure white hairs. "L'sol? whats that a town or something?" she tilts ehr head softly her big green eyes wide with curiosity.
Edward looked at Tanahar then to mintaka "Mintaka, was that Edward?" he blinks sitting up and looking dreamy eyed "Edward thinks he remembers when flame was good and teher was much sitting of the happy proudness" he blinks several times casting away the memory "make the fire bigger mintaka, it's good when it goes whoosh" he looks around, he hadn't forgotten his fear if anythign those fiery orange red eyes glinted in every direction, just incase there was anyone else there, but a flicker, a flicker of a memory maybe thats what it was he didn'tlike it the fire would make it all better but it had to go whoosh.
