*beeping, shudder from face*

"(insert nothing like animals, horrible undead things) (insert stuff about two guys beating him up that knew him, face smashed, mask really ******** up) (insert stuff about waking up because of bright light followed by roar of flames)"

*(insert shape flying overhead, three feathers of purple dropping, two in water, one next to kalie) (water going crazy, one section stained red as purple wing gets caught and shredded)*

Torment: GOD ******** DAMMIT! Kalie! You ok in there?!?

((g'night!))

((theres nothing all that special about these particular wings, they're just epic spell results. though they do mimic a certain set of wings he hasn't had the opportunity to see yet, though Kalie has.))

*In a sort of a spiraling flight he landed with a soft thud on the island as the remaining wing dissapates in a cloud of purple dust. He glances up at Kalie to see if she's ok first before he gets up and dusts himself off a bit.*

"Envisionary, the Gearhand. Nickname, Vis. Specialty, mechanology and bioengineering. Thrax, the Lastliving. last of his race reduced to mere neural patterns. One hired by me to kill, the other hired me to protect."

*With that he glanced to Kalie and crouched down next to Vis, running a hand down his torso not more than an inch away from it.*

"Interesting little cycle of things. Anyay, as for Vis's injuried, he seems to have some internal bleeding and severe head trauma. I'm surprised he has to rely on breathing though, some of the nanites must be malfunctioning. Well, I can heal the bodily harm, but if he's got malfunctioning nanites to the point where he actually has to breathe, hes in serious trouble."

*He leans in close to listen to the actual breathing within the mask to see if it's helped by the internal systems of the mask or not, but also quietly whispers something to Thrax, not loud enough for Kalie to hear beyond the words thank you. As he sits back up he places his hand over Vis's chest as the white sun above seems to shift slightly. With a bright white glow from Torment's hand the metal face seems to melt away back into the mask. As the glow continues deep lines of purple pervade in until it becomes entirely purple, whereby he thrusts his hand down upon Vis's chest with added force from Tor as he shifts to hover right above him.*

"Gearhand, AWAKEN!"

*The purple pulse runs through his body as he jerks like being shocked by a defibrulator. The heaving of his chest shifts to that of a normal person as he struggles to sit up, a metallic liquid flowing out from under his mask onto his shirt, he seems to be cughing, but its hard to tell from this side of the mask.*

(actual conversation between Thrax and Tor, happened quickly, with the first two words being the only ones slow enough to hear.)

Tor: Thank you. I mean it man, thank you so much. I know your reasons behind employing me to get Kalie out of D-Platoon were a little less than noble, but you changed my life, our lives.

Thrax: It is touching to know that my efforts were not all in vain. That I actually accomplished something durng my time on the mortal coil.

Tor: Any time you want to return to the world of the living, tell me, I can make it happen.

Thrax: Nay, I cannot, it wouldn't fit right for me. My species no longer exists, I'd be an abomination.

Tor: I feel compelled to do something to change your life for the better as you have done for me. tell me, whatever it I can do, ask.

Thrax: Nay, nay, nay. I can ask for nothing. I may be an unfeeling b*****d, but there is one thing that I respect, and that is true love. Just being able to know that I had a hand in it is more than enough.

Tor: I will never forget what you did. I'll find a way to repay you someday, even if you never know about it.

*Tor takes her hand in his and brushes across her fingertips with light kisses before he [presses the back of her fingers to his forehead.*

Tor: Its ok, just as long as I never have to wake up and realize you'll never return.

*Vis's mask seems to shift slightly and he grabs it quickly to readjust it. There are several locking sounds as it seems to bond to his face by metallic locks or docking mechanisms. His breathing makes him seem like a non-evil Darth Vader, with a voice similar at the moment.*

Vis: Torment, the Fla...

Tor (interupting): Speak it not, I shall not be assosciated with the Ancients beyond employment. The Gorokian Hand is no more. You and Thrax are now truly free to live your lives as you see fit.

Vis: Nay, Q still lives, and as long as he does, there is still hope for Phanx to return.

Tor: He hasn't the willpower to return.

Thrax: Vis, I see no reason to remain here any longer. The forest can run under its own power and I'm quite sure neither of us has found or place in this world, or any other quite yet.

Vis: Quite. I am also in need of repairs that I am too weak to perform myself. Who was it we were searching out earlier? Clint?

Tor: How the hell do you guys know X?

Thrax: I conducted business with him to obtain nanites and like materials.

Tor: Feh, whatever. I wasn't planning on it just yet, but if you could wait until tomorrow I'll be setting up a Transportation Nexus in the Razor Fields, send ya where ya need to go then.

Vis and Thrax: We will await you in the Razor Fields. How will we know exactly where to be?

Tor: Can't miss it, theres a house there.

Thrax: Ah...I should have expected as much. How exactly do you propose we get this body of lead across the water?

Vis: This I can do.

*He cracked his neck with a mechanical whirring as he pulled a deck of cards from his coat, taking out two in particular.*

Vis: I'm never unprepared.

Tor: See you tomorrow then.

*Vis slowly stood and his body jerked for a moment as Thrax forced him into a bow to Kalie as he spoke.*

Thrax: I can only wish you and Torment the best. Farewell mi'lady.

*After a pause Vis jerked back into a standing position and held the two cards, one in each hand. He pushed one out before himand one out to the side before grabbing them by the corners and flicking them to the ground with a swift flick of his wrist. Three rings of blue light rose around him and with the third, he was gone, cards and all.*

*Tor chuckled slightly at her regarding their activities a distraction, but he twitched once or twice, stuttering and sputtering before falling deathly silent for a moment at hearing the second part. His hair seemed to droop slightly as he ran it through his mind. He moved away, nearly to the edge of the small floating island as he stared into Kalie's eyes, his own shadowed by grey at the mere thought.*

"d....don't be m...messing with me Kalie. I....if its a joke its sure as hell not funny."

"But if she...and you...then she...bu...wha...fu..."

*He deteriorated into incoherent mumbling as he tried to run it through his head without much success.*

*Torment let out a sigh as he tried to gather his thoughts.*

"Ok, first off, how exactly did you meet her?"
