She felt her face redden a little. "Apparently my sister has better taste in guys then I imagined." She said, shrugging. "You're a good guy, Dan, my sister was smart choosing you to love." She said, with a smile.

Austin was grumbling and yelling obsinities at the top of his lungs. All of the pent up hatred for Brook came flooding forward. "Damn that vile woman!" (( 4laugh ))
He phased out, and into Brook's house. He had been there...several....times before, and remembered the location perfectly.
With a cold stare he shot a look at Brook. "This is a new low, Brook. Hitting on your dead sister's boyfriend. Its hard to belive I'm saying this, but I thought even you where above this."
((Lets just say Dan used the potion.))
Jon slowly opened his eyes, feeling tired and groggy. "What....what happ---" He froze. "You-y-y-you're the demon!!"
He jumped up and ran to the other side of the room. He was a bit more agile than he had remembered. "Stay back! Stay back! I-I-I'm warning you!" He thrust his hand out to make the stop sign, but a large gust of find flew forward, knocking Dan, Austin, and Brook over.
Shocked and terrified by the sudden new power, he took off running out the door. As soon as he was in the street he transformed into bird form and took off running flying. [EDITED]
Austin ran after him, but he was gone before he could get a hold of him.

Dan helped Brook up and gave Austin a glare. He looked at Brook "He doesn't get anything does he?" he asked Brook. "I can see why you don't like him." he added.

She smirked a little at Dan's comment. "Jealous, Austin?" She asked, skeptically.
"You know I think it's time that we talked. We'll be back." She added, dragging Austin out of the room and into the livingroom next door. "What is your problem?!" She demanded, knowing this would more then likely turn into a screaming match.

He just sighed and wondered what was on her mind. He didn't know if this was Jen's doing but if it was he wouldn't dissapoint her.

Madison teleported in. "Hey, Dan. I didn't expect to get a call from you. What's up?" She asked, her hair hanging in curls today, rather then being straight as it usually was. She twirled her hair meeting his eyes, waiting for an answer.

"That's your own connection. I'm not allowed to match you up with a darklighter. It's forbidden, if you want a relationship with her you're on your own." She said, shortly. "I'll still be around, but I can't influence either way." She said, with a shrug.
"Not my rules, it's theirs." She said, pointing up to the elders. "But don't you think persuing your girlfriends' sister, who hated her by the way, seems a little- I don't know- Desperate?" She asked, sounding reluctant to use the desperate word.

He looked at Madison. "I'm not desperate but don't you think it would make some sense?" he asked. "And just because she is a darklighter doesn't mean she's evil anymore. I truly feel that she is good. If she wasn't you wouldn't be here right now." he added as Brook knew that she was a whitelighter.

"No, I come when my charges call me, regardless of the situation. It's called duty over safety. Besides, if you are convinced she didn't kill or help kill Jen, you trust her, meaning she wouldn't try to shoot me with you here anyway." She argued, however her temperment was much calmer then Brook's, and her voice was soft.
"How's Jon?" She asked, wondering where he'd gotten to.

"He ran when he seen Austin." he said. "I also trust that she didn't have anything to do with Jen's death. She is her sister, who I know she loves." he added while he looked down and then back to her. "I trust that Brook was trying to help Jen survive." he added.

"Alright, I'll trust your judgement, but I'm not so sure.- Wait- Austin Andrews? The Phase? Wow, you put yourself into some odd company." Madison said, shaking her head and sighing, wondering if he knew about Austin's past.
