Its good to see that another one is coming out. The first one was good, but I hope this one is rated R and more alien vs pred
Being rated R dosent necessarily make a movie good. There needs to be more gore though. I would love too see more xeno vs. pred action. There needs to be less humans.

*Agrees emphatically* 3nodding
actually there is more things allowable in a R movie, more violence for one.
But violence dosent make up for a crappy plot. A good plot with lots of violence would make the movie great.

According to Irving I'm kinda too inactive, so I am going to make a comment here even though I know I will say crap and embarras myself.

Well, whether AvP was lauzy or not, I enjoyed the movie (partially due to it being the first time I snuck of to a movie without actual said permission), I was able to explain most plot holes logically, which was fun too, and I am currently working on creating a Mary Sue Litmus test for the AvP franchise, since because of AvP 'they' now exist.
And AvP introduced me to the world of Aliens and Predators, so I'm not allowed to hate it. Hm. Experiencing the same kinda excitement to AvP-2 as I have with all Jurassic Park movies....that's rare.

About Bishop, I haven't seen anything but the end of Alien 3, but wasn't the designed of that android an android himself? When did the second Gen begin anyway?

If not, considering the kind of person the AvP Weyland is, it's not unlikely he'd have something of himself stored for the future. Or it could be since he's ill, he'd go to the hospital where they would at least take blood samples, and perhaps tissue samples.
Later in the future, when cloning is possible, the company clones Weyland for whatever stupid reason a rich supercompany could have (bragging about how good they are by showing the public they can conquer dead by cloning the founder of the Weyland company half?), and then disgard the clone when they no longer need it. The clone would not consider himself Charles Bishop Weyland, and probably would not even want to carry that name. Such a character would become withdrawn from the general world, and possibly could be spending his time learning things, like for example building androids. Just a theory.

Now I didn't say you were too inactive, I was just a little worried with how inactive you'd been for a while. @_@

It had 4 jaws (like a predator) and they the talked about its blood!! Could this be an Avp 2 rip-off or did I eat some moldy Lucky Charms this mooring eek

I cant stand Sci-fi originals. Alien lockdown is one of the worst.

That's the biggest rip off since the first Bloody Murder film:

At camp Placid the councelors all want to relax and have some fun and ignore they're job. But the head councelor Clayton Moorhouses son Trevor Moorhouse rats them out. Annoyed, the councelors play a trick on Trevor that goes horribly wrong with Trevor floating down a rivene, his face scared by ravenous birds.

Sent to a mental hostpital, he escapes, dones a hockey mask as a disguise and takes his revenge on the councelors with a chainsaw.

The only thing that didn't make this a rip-off of Friday the 13th was the poor acting.

Well the Sci-Fi channel aren't that bad, apart from some bad films and shows and they're prostetute adverts, they actually show some decent horror films like Battle Royale and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, more than the Horror channel, that just replay crap horror films including Bloody Murder 1 and 2.

Personally I feel that hollywood is focusing on making money when it comes to making a second movie. Main stream cinema is going to s**t now days. sad

I think at this point it's pretty much a given that he won't.

Thankfully he hasn't signed on for a sequal and they're looking for some else to write and to direct the sequal. So no Anderson... THANK GOD!

He probably didn;t like the bitching he got for making it either, I kinda feel sorry for the guy... He was just trying to make a good movie for all the fellow fans and it all blew up in his face when half the AvP community said "good job" and the other half said "******** you."

Would it even be possible for someone to make another sequel in the series without half the fans hating it?
