Yuki nodded, face faintly pink once more as Shinku began leading her by the hand again. She remained silent as he spoke and then nodded her head. "Really?" she asked, sounding somewhat surprised. Then she hesitated for a second before glancing down at the ground. "I've never really... b-been to a festival," she admitted softly. "I was too young to r-remember, and haven't been to an-any since." It was more like she'd been to afraid to go, so she'd simply stayed home during them rather than joining the others of her home.

"Really?" Shinku asked mildly. "You've never been to a festival or picnic or anything like that?" He continued. "Ah well... It can't be too bad..." He muttered. "Most picnics aren't like this..." He said, guiding her back to their blanket. "Listen I know you're probably stuffed but... I want you to try eating at least a bite of one last thing..." He said quietly, not wanting the strawberry cream pie to go to waste, or be eaten completely by him.

"Games...?" She said, opening her eye and looking at him through it. This kid wanted to play... GAMES? Like, what kind of games? Those cheap festival games that little kids played, like the ones to fish and knock little bottles over? Those games that meant you lost your money and gained no profit or prize? Yeah, she had done that one time... she lost, and held her gun up to the owner of the booth when she realized it was rigged. Needless to say, she got the largest prize available, not to mention a bit of exercise from running away from security... ah, good times.

Sighing lightly, she shrugged her shoulders and yawned once more, a cherry blossom falling onto her kimono, completely contrasting with the colors. "Yeah, sure. They better not be rigged, though... otherwise I'll have a story to tell you." Smiling to herself and looking up through the branches at the blue sky, Tomoro glanced over at the boy. He just looked... so sad. There had to be something she could do... games probably would be the best thing. "Whenever you wanna head out, just say the words."

He smiled lightly, he was acting like a kid again. Festival games? He shook his head and sighed. "If you really dont want to we dont have to...Im just acting like a little kid again.....you go sleep, I'll just sit here." He hugged his knees up to his chest again and looked at the random couples or trios or groups of friends going by. He was pretty sure she didnt want to go play games, least of all with him, he was better off waiting at the library.

Yuki shrugged her frail shoulders half heartedly, gaze still upon the ground. She stayed silent for a moment, and then closed her eyes as she allowed him to lead her along. Her tail hadn't curled around her waist though, so she was still fine and not letting any memories she might be recalling get the better of her. But as he mentioned most picnics, she blinked her eyes open again. "Th-they're not?" She paused again as she listened to him, and nodded her head. "I-I guess a little b-bit won't hurt..." Truthfully, she was somewhat curious as to what it would taste like.

After resting her eyes for a moment, Tomoro rubbed them and yawned once more, tilting her head to the side to get the sun out of her eyes. It blinded her, it did... after looking at him, her eyes widened a bit, and she realized something... he was like her. From a long, long time ago. Back when she thought nobody cared about her and she was just a 'thing' existing for no reason. It was sad... who opened that light to her? Who was it? Who actually showed her she had a reason to live, even if it be for an evil purpose? She couldn't place her finger on it, there were so many people to choose... noticing his light smile, that drove Tomoro past her senses.

Quickly standing up, she let out a small huff of breath, and left her blanket and bento on the ground, picking up her leather pouch, motioning toward the games. "I think I'm ready! Yup! For some reason, I think this'll be lots of fun..." Tomoro accidentally let out a soft cackle under her breath; no doubt her favorite part of going to the games was finding out which games were rigged. In that case, she threatened them, and of course, she got the biggest prize. What a dangerous obcession...

"Alright... Here we are now..." Shinku said quietly as they arrived back at the blanket. He sat down with a spot next to him open. He then took a fork and dug it into the center of the pie he had wanted her to try. He then pulled it away with a good bit of strawberries, cream, and crust, on the fork. He held it up waiting for her to sit down. "You'll love this..." He said waiting.

Yuki glanced around at the scenery, rather than the people, as she held out her hand to snag another flower from the air as it drifted past. She held it carefully in her palm as she trailed behind Shinku, pausing once they arrived at the blanket. She watched him sit down and then slowly settled beside him, legs folded to one side again as she smoothed out her dress slightly. Her eyes followed as he picked up a bit of the pie and held it up. Though she just sat there, and didn't move, slowly shifting her gaze to his face. She didn't quite look into his eyes though, but instead right around them.

"Here..." Shinku said handing her the fork. "You should like it... Alot... Not many people really know why... But everyone loves sweetes and sugary things..." He said quietly. He laid back on the blanket still feeling a bit sore from his injuries, which still had stitches. "It's so... Serene here..." He said quietly. "Quam Serena..." He said simply. He was looking at all the sakura trees enjoying the view as he awaited what she thought.

Yuki blinked and then slowly took the fork from him, keeping it balanced so the bite wouldn't fall off the end. She stared at it for a moment, eyes shifting to Shinku next. Then she nodded and slowly brought the fork to her mouth and then popped the bite of pie inside. She chewed it for a moment, her eyes widened very slightly. Then she swallowed and looked back at Shinku, licking one of her fangs lightly and smiling at him. "I-it is good," she agreed. She was tempted to eat more, but if she did too much, she really would get sick. She gave a small sign at the realization.

Shinku sat up after hearing her say what she thought. He looked at her lightly smiling. "So it's good? I thought you'd like it..." He said quietly. He put the lid over it and offered it to her. "Here... A momento of today... You can have it..." He said simply. He didn't really prefer keeping pies around him since he didn't really want to eat a little too much and end up bigger than a blimp. He was an assassin and speed was important.

"I-I think it's really n-nicely made! W-Who m-made it? I want a kimono m-made too! Hee hee."

Ai slightly blushed at that comment, that was her first comment in a long time! Last time she got one was last summer's festival when Nohea said that the kimono Ai made for her was great! Though it really saddened Ai that she hasn't seen Nohea since the potluck. Ai cupped her hands, holding the riceball in the proper way as she took a deep bite into it. The mystery flavor to this riceball was a strawberry. With a gulp to bring her food down to the stomach, she smiled over at Makie.

"I made it! It took me two weeks! But I wanted to look my best to these occasions!" she exclaimed excitedly as she took another bite into the strawberry flavored rice ball. "Thats right! She made me this last year! Its made out of a special silk from Heaven itself!" cried the very hyper Oliver as he gave off a cocky smile as he lightly hit Makie on the shoulder; like how all guys greet.

Grabbing a small sandwhich Makie made, Ai popped one into her mouth and started to chew; she wanted to see what Makie's cooking tasted like. After a few seconds of silence, AI placed one hand over a cheek and smiled in pleasure; "mmm! These are delicious sandwhiches, Makie!" After a while, it seemed Oliver got curious about Makie's cooking too and started to eat all of the sandwhiches she made.. he truly isn't like most guys.

"Eh? Sing? Me? I dunno.. I'm.. I-i'm very unfaithful on my singing. Even how many compliments I get.. it seems that it doesn't make me-eh. Oh my! I'm blabbing like an old person talking about their life!" she said as she tried to get her mind off the singing subject.

But.. its wierd.. for some odd reason.. when I sing I can't.. I can't help but think.. am I really making people happy? Making myself happy? Like all those famous singers.. they all have an inspiration to sing.. I don't even know what inspires me.. I.. I'm just confused lately she thought as she happily sipped some of her home coooked soup, her hands wrapped around the boul to keep it from staining the pink frabic blanket.

Yuki blinked at him, watching as he placed the lid on it. For a moment she was completely silent, as if what he was doing was unthinkable. "R-really?" she asked suddenly. "Y-you're giving it t-to me? Thank you v-very much," she nodded, smiling broader than any time before. Her fangs were actually showing in the corners of her mouth. Her face was faintly pink still, but she was completely ignoring it, currently not caring at all.

"Yeah..." Shinku said quietly putting an arm around her shoulders. "You're the only one I would do anything for really..." He said, placing the pie tin near her. He looked at her broad smile smiling as well at how the small little fangs shown themselves. He just continued keeping his arm around her shoulder and actually found himself starting to lean towards her, until he kissed her.

Later in the evening, as the sun was setting on the second day of the cherry blossom festival, two figures came striding through the picnic area. One was a girl with long brown hair tied back into a braid, dressed in an elegant kimono. The kimono featured fall colors - a rich dark orangish-brown as the base color, with various colors of autumn leaves and brown tree branches decorating it all down the right side of the garment, and tied with a plain white obi at her waist.

The boy, on the other hand, was dressed in more modern clothing - expensive white designer pants, a button down collared white shirt with the top two buttons left undone to match, and black dress shoes. His short blonde hair was thoroughly combed and gelled to immaculate perfection, and he flashed a brilliant smile to all the girls that passed him by as he walked along with the girl.

The girl, Rachel, was clearly not having a very good time, glancing uneasily and with much irritation to the figure at her side every few seconds. As she strode through the picnic area, nearly every boy's head turned to watch as she walked by. A few even whistled at her, calling out to her loudly and making comments about how beautiful she looked in her kimono. She summarily ignored each and every one of them, retaining her expression of general annoyance as she busily looked for a place to set down the picnic supplies she was carrying.

The boy, Joseph, on the other hand, was clearly relishing all of the attention he seemed to be garnering from the girls of Ria High that had gathered out on the lawn to enjoy the sakura blossoms as they fell gently from the trees. He smiled and nodded at them as he went by, stopping every so often to gently blow kisses or give a playful wink. Some girls blushed deeply, some waved shyly, others called out to him to look their way. He even got a few phone numbers, scrawled hastily on scrap pieces of paper, as he walked along. Grinning widely and confidently the entire time, he looked back at the girl walking next to him every few minutes, chuckling a little at her sour look.

The two of them walking together really were quite a sight to see, and nearly everyone in the courtyard couldn't help but take notice.

"You're just eating this up, aren't you?" Rachel asked her brother, heaving a deep sigh and trying not to make eye contact with any of the boys clamoring for her attention.

Joseph simply chuckled, looking back at his sister and giving an annoying grin and a wink. "Of course," he said simply. "There are so many pretty ladies here on your campus. Maybe I'll enroll here too."

Rachel's face went white, even though she knew he was just making a stupid joke. All the same, she reached over to hit him in the shoulder, grimacing even more than she had been before. "Don't even joke about that," she sneered. "That would be like a nightmare."

"Tsk, tsk, little sis..." Joseph said as he patted Rachel on the head, before she managed to swat his hand away and punch him in the shoulder again. He rubbed it, laughing to himself again. "I'm just here to have fun. Calm down already." He shrugged, giving a clearly fake sigh of exasperation, evidenced by the fact that he was still grinning his head off.

"Fine, fine," Rachel said, stopping and starting to unfold the blanket she'd been carrying along with her. "I said I'd show you around, so here. Look around. Enjoy." Grabbing the picnic basket her brother had been carrying along with him, she started to unpack the food they'd brought along, setting it out neatly on the blanket in front of them. Sitting down at the edge of the blanket, she sat cross-legged, folding her arms and half-glaring at the figure of her brother, who was sitting on his knees on the other side.

"Well, then!" he said, clapping his hands together. "Shall we dig in?"

"Whatever..." Rachel muttered, nodding and starting in on the food.
