Lawliet just smiled a sweet, shy smile. He held his hands behind his back, and..For some reason he sort of missed the feel of her hand. "Oh. Nothing is wrong...I got a business call that's all.." He could could see the water and the sandy beaches all around him. It seemed it was close to dark, but he didn't care..It was all so beautiful.
As the water rushed up a little ways on the beach, the water hit his bare feet. The sand soft between his toes.

Meghan sighed, knowing she couldn't pry that much into a persons buisness. "I see," she said softly, nodding her head; if that was what he told her, she'd believe him. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she thought she heard someone screaming 'He's lying to you' in a far-off, mystivous[sp], chaotic voice. She shook it off, hoping it was nothing and that she was just tired or something.
She bent down and rolled up her pants just enough for them to be on her upper thigh somehow. After, she slowly lowered herself onto the sand, her legs strettched out enough for the water to slide under her, just up to her knees. "The waters cold!" she laughed, knowing there wasn't much else to expect; but all the same, she couldn't help but yell out the obvious.

Lawliet smiled at her and rolled up his pants as well, following her into the water. When he touched the edge he jumped back. It really was cold..He took it a little slower as he smiled shyly. "Yeah it is..." He kicked around in the water enjoying himself. While he was kicking some water splashed in his mouth as he frowned. Just as he expected from the sea...It was a beach afterall, but it was pretty terrible...
Walking a little out of the water, and then heading to where the water just barely washed up on the shore, he stared at the various kinds of shells embedded in the sand.

Sora watched him, her arms wrapped around the top part of her left knee. She laughed softly as he'd landed some water into her mouth, but didn't say anything; no need to make fun of him, even if she was joking about it. She had to admit that he was kind of shy, or so it seemed, but she didn't really mind, nor had she not expected it. After all, it was still both their first day, so of course he was rather drawn back. Maybe later on he'd open up to her and they could be close buds.
"What ya' looking at?" she asked him, looking in his direction; she really couldn't tell from where she saw what he was examining. She was rather curious, and she wondered if he'd ever gone to a beach. [wait, did we go over that already? xD]

He froze looking at her shyly, and stepped towards her nervously. "Oh..Just some shells in the sand." He sighed kicking at the sand and water, but careful not to get it on Sora...

Meghan looked around her, examining the dry sand, before seeing two flat stones. She grinned to herself, reaching over and grabbing both and slowly got up, dusting the sand from her body. "Here!" she said, extending a stone out to him, "Why not skip some rocks?" When she was little, she found such a thing quite fun, especially on a hot day when she'd roam to lakes or rivers.

[[ Xd I do things like that all the time >.> No problem^-^]]
Lawliet grinned slightly, reaching out for the small rock. He stared at it for a moment, and stroked its smooth surface with his fingers. It was dark, but the stars seemed to light a pathway out to the sea. Shimmering like little faries dancing on the ocean's surface. The quiet, silent breeze blowing the smell of salt water in your face, yet, it was hard to really care because of the magnificent beauty. He hauled back his arm as the little rock skittered out onto the ocean, and after about seven hops decended into the depths of the ocean's floor.

ll ^^'' ll
Meghan just watched his stone, rather suprised he could get such distance and that many skips. She sighed, pulling back her arm and then bringing it foward, her wrist snapping slightly as she let the stone's smooth surface slip from her fingers. She watched it skitter across the water, bouncing up and then soaring through the air before hitting the water again; it bounced no more than four times before it tilted and let itself submerge into the ocean, a small splash left in its wake.
"Damn, I'm horrible compared to you," she laughed, plopping herself back down into the cooling sand; it felt rather good, she had to admit. What would make it better, probably, was a few blankets, a fire, smores and maybe even some more people. She wouldn't complain about it being just them, though; less noise made it less... bothersome, and left out the migrane at the end.

Lawliet laughed nervously, a little suprised that he had gotten it that far. He patted Meghan lightly on the shoulder to give make her feel a little better. "I've never even done that before.." Though when she took a seat in the soft sand he stayed standing up, looking out to sea. He then closed his eyes letting the sounds and hushing on the ocean ring like a record through his ears. He then sat down plopping backwards, and laying down in the sand his ,hands behind his head. The sand was cold, and felt pretty good as he felt it between his fingers.
His white hair fell over his eyes, his bare feet and toes wiggling in the sad. "Its really quiet.."

ll off to a shower, then to watch a movie >> I'll be back after, though (: ll
Meghan nodded her head, looking out at the silver path made by the moon, watching a pair of.... bugs?... fly across it, dancing slightly. It really was quiet, she had to admit. She turned to look at him and then laughed silently to herself, turning back to the sea. "You know, you're going to get sand in your hair," she warned softly, wondering if he'd even care and get up.
Although she knew he was mostly shy, he'd gotten over it and seemed rather calm right now. She didn't know much about him, either, and wondered if he was the type of person to just shrug something, like getting sand in your hair, off without a care, or if he'd get overly worked up. That'd be an interesting sight; a worked up, flabergasted and embarrassed, Lawliet. Just the thought made a small smile spread across her lips.

Its so empty..This feeling in the middle of my heart..I've never really known who I was or why I'm even here..Yet this person..He raised a brow and slowly sat up. He then took his hand and calmly brushed it through his hair. Normally, he might actually blush from embarassement, but right now he had other things on his mind. Thinking about his past always made him think harder than he normally would, it was almost as if he was completely ignoring everyone around him.
Once he was satisfied he got it all out the effect finally kicked in. A small blushed appeared on his face as he fidgeted a little. "Oh erm. Uh, sorry.." A late reaction, but still ammusing to see him get all worked up about it.

Akoi sat up, and let the wind in her hair. The wind was so strong, it made the ribbon drop to the sand, and so such long beautiful hair was blowing in the wind. Akoi didnt mind, she opened her arms like a bird, she closed her eyes, "I- I always wanted to be in the sky, to see- to see all of the oceans and see the world, I want to be the girl in the sk-!" Akoi, on her knees, holding her neck gently, a bit shocked. Breathing hard, "Wha- Whats happened?" Akoi's throat hurted very bad. Akoi still breathing hard, cryed a bit in pain.

Meghan just turned and smiled to him. "There's nothing to appologize for," she said softly, her eyes slowly making their way to his shirt. She rolled her eyes, laughing softly, and then pointed a finger towards his shirt. "Missed a spot," she teased slightly; she wasn't really pointing, since her hands were resting on her elbows and it was quite hard to point and grip your elbow at the same time, and she hoped he could tell where she was pointing. She could imagine him being confused.

To tell the truth he had an idea of what she was going to do. No way I'm falling for it.. He was in a panic so it seemed. A sweat mark appeared on his head, as he forced himself not to look down. Of course he questioned himself if she was actually going to do it. When he had a private tutor he was always pointing at his shirt expecting him to look down, and then flunk him on the bottom of his nose with his finger. Finally he couldn't stand the thought of their being sand on his shirt so he looked down quickly before shutting his eyes tight.
When he opened them he breathed a sigh of relief, and laughed nervously. "Heh...heh...heh....."There was a long pause, and he felt a little stupid. He didn't think she would, but he just couldn't fight the feeling since he hated being flunked in the nose like that..Not exactally his favorite kind of humor.."Erm...uh.."

Meghan rolled her eyes. "You're an idiot," she said softly, teasing him slightly. She reached over and brushed off the sand that she'd been talking about. It had taken her the whole silence to realize why he was so hesitant to look down, and she remembered when she was a kid and kids always did that to each other. Those were the days; no care in the world.
"I'm not going to flick you," she sighed, moving back to a straighter position, so she wasn't leaning towards him. Can't believe it took so long to see that, she thought, finding herself rather stupid for forgetting such a small trick everyone played on kids. It had been years since she'd done it, and her 'grandfather'- who wasn't really her grandfather, she just liked calling him that- hated such a thing. He was strict and didn't like pranks; fun and tricks, he said, were two different things.
