Amiruni the obelisk is a structure shape NOT a mason object. The obelisk in Rome doesn't have mason symbols on them. In fact belonging to the catholic church and claiming to be a masonist, is contridictory and is considered to be a serious sin and something that warrents not receiving communion making it a mortal sin. The catholic church has nothing to do with masonic teachings or symbols, not true catholics anyway. Masonry is gnostic, I believe, making it a part of the first great heresy. I disagree with it being a heresy, though. I think sorting out what books should and shouldn't be in the New Testament was the real heresy.

Ex-Jesuit Preist Alberto Rivera said that when he was inducted into the higher levels of the Jesuit preisthood, he knelt to kiss the ring of one of the leaders and saw the symbol of the Masons on the ring. You know, that little ruler-type thing with the 'G' in in it? Also, I never said that the obelisks had to have symbols on them to make them Mason. It'd be like calling Satan Lucifer. It's the same being, just with a different name. The obelisk is a Mason symbol whether it has markings on it or not. Anyway, the obelisk represents life through sex (the male organ)...so why would that appear in the Vatican?

Anyway, the obelisk represents life through sex (the male organ)...so why would that appear in the Vatican? Washington D.C does, and who cares, this female could care less, there are bigger problems to fix then the shape of monuments. And who says that the masons had those symbols first? The masons started as Christian and then broke off, therefore the symbols which were originally Catholic are now though of as Masonic. Just like the Swastika. That is a kind of cross shape that is still in churches that were before WWII. Why? Becuase it didn't mean anything but a cross before Hitler attached new meaning to it. You have to consider what symbols ment when things were built, NOT by today's meaning. Also like the word gay, used to mean happy, you have to take things in context. Just like the Bible. The symbols and storys used in the Bible, to be fully understood must be read alongside the history of the time.
