Arch wandered the streets in search of Ruby. He had a cigerette in his mouth, but hadn't bothered to light it yet. He saw the general unhappiness of the people around him, and couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with this city. Due to driving around most of the time, he hadn't gotten much information, but this was crazy. He doubted his Sorrow aura would make a difference, or if Peace would make a dent.

He drove by one of the public playgrounds, there was no grass or anything but a soft foam like padding and basic playground equipment. A few mothers watched as their little ones used the equipment. There was one little toddler sitting in the sandbox, his curly red head bent over a bucket.

Arch raised an eyebrow, having left the pictures of Ruby's child at the bus. He walked over to a bench in the jungle gym and waited. He glanced about, not seeing Ruby, but figured this was at least a bit of a lead, so he waited, in hopes that the mother might come.

After about fifteen minutes one of the women sitting on the bench, a plain looking woman with short brown hair, stood up and picked the kid up in her arms. "Come on, Aaron, we don't want you wearing yourself out, could be bad for you."

Tis what the file said she went'n named 'ihm...Arch casually stood up, pocketing the ciggerette, and walked over to the woman, wondering what exactly he was going to say. screw it allArch tapped the woman on the shoulder. "Ma'am, mah names Arch Lannen, ahmma madly in lohve with Ruby St. Claire ahn ahm pretteh sua that's hehr sohn ihn yehr arms raght nahw ahn ahd beh vereh grateful iffn' yeh could tell meh weah she ihs."

The woman looked like she was about to scream, and then she changed her face into one of pure stubbornness. "I'm sorry sir, but I have no idea what you're talking about. This is my son, and I've never heard of that woman."

Higi was driving in his taxi when he saw the the people gathered around the playground. If he parked here surely they would see him and want some service. He was thinking about running an "enchanting" service out of his taxi. That way he could earn a few extra marks and such. Parking his taxi he noticed the women picking up her child. Maybe they were ready to leave? Maybe not.
Rolling down his window he meeky said, "There is a discount sale today for anybody that is interested in a ride." he huriedly roled up the window before anybody choose to look at him, pretending to be a paranoid taxi cab driver. He severly hoped that he could get a super, that way they could spread the word around about his business.

The woman's voice lowered, "I'm just hired to watch the boy, and claim him as my own. I really don't know about this Ruby person, I'm sorry I am, but...my employer has this temper, you have to understand." The woman gave a slight shudder, "I have rules I need to abide by, I'm sorry."
She noted the taxi and thought she might use it soon, if necesary.

Aaron was getting bored, and playing with the woman's necklace no longer amused him. He turned his grey eyes to Arch and mumbled some nonsensical noises.
