All right, just taking a passing glance through my collection I stumbled across a number that I figured deserved at least being thrown out into the open. Some of them I'm surprised people have missed for so long...hehehe...

Average White Band
Wild Cherry (Play that Funky Music)
Bruce Springsteen (How the Boss got left off, I don't know...)
Cheap Trick
Heart (Barracuda, Magic Man, etc.)
Humble Pie
Jim Croce
Jo Jo Gunne
Kansas
Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells)
Motorhead (Technically NWOBHM, but it still fits very much into the Hard Rock category, in my opinion...)
Rick Derringer
Robin Trower
Styx
Sweet
T. Rex
The Guess Who (American Woman)
The Police
The Ramones (If punk can be thrown in with classic rock)
The Sex Pistols (See above)
UFO
Uriah Heep
Van Morrison (Brown-Eyed Girl)

Oh, and just for the humor value, since someone's gotten me hooked on their tracks of late...

Some of that list is worth working with, however, you have to keep in mind...New Wave, punk, and '80s stuff isn't classic rock, so they won't make the list.

They are still glam rock, and you will recieve a warning if you continue this argument.

What argument? This topic asks for bands to be considered for discussion, and I saw something missing from the list provided. Now I don't care if you consider the Scorpions to be glam rock or hillbilly blue-grass jug-band music, I still feel they merit a mention, and if just one person has explored the history of the band, and looked back past 1982 to find music they enjoyed, then my work is done.

If this merits a warning, then why not just go ahead and ban me, if you're going to be so petty.

I, for one, am done "arguing". I know what I like, and all I want to do is share my love for my music. I grew up with this music, and you might want to consider doing the same.

Well,I'm not going to add them, but I will give you credit for putting up a good argument.
