Graceangel isabel35 *puts candles everywhere* I like this one... it's shaped like a snowman biggrin don't want to light it... it's so pretty biggrin *goes up to an attic and grabs more decorations to rumble through* Isabel, i grabbed more boxes of decorations... I think we should put stuff up outside the house too... and put a big red cover over the pool and line it with pine cones and wintery flowers! Pointsettas!!!! all around it. We actually could have a glass cover put on over the pool so that we can use it as a party location. 3nodding I really like that idea biggrin whee

well, in england... way back when there were religious groups who did't want to follow the catholic way... they sent them to the new lands colonies as a form of exile for not conforming to their religious choice. So... these exiles were sent on boats here. they were pilgrims... and they had a hard first year. then they met some kind and friendly native american indians who taught them how to till the soil and take care of the earth. they taught them many of their survival methods to gettng thru winter... the next year when their crops harvested in bounty.. they all had a great feast together to give thanks to the Lord for blessin the year. and the pilgrims and indians were friends. ... and.. as a tradition in the US... we honor that day every year. And, families gather together with their friends to honor one another and celebrate things we are thankful for.. for blessings of the year before. I'm sure the holiday means more to farmers and people who help produce their own dinners.. but it's still a nice day. sadly... that day will be the kick off to the next few weeks of hell at my work.. but... still.
