3. Try to stay on topic and try to make relevant posts (irrelevant posts will be deleted). If you want to chat, move to the ICU Chatterbox.
That rules isn't exactly enforced, is it?
xD

xD ninja If it was 100% enforced.. Then.. I'm sure 91% of the threads would be locked or deleted by now..

yalie5 cold_blooded_chick Everyone has exams right now... gonk tch... no kidding... mine are coming up soon... stare meh! we're getting off topic! rules rules rules... well at least they're not ridiculous like "You can't get into class once the tardy bell has rung, you have to miss the whole damn period!" *sigh* I think those should be our rules and no more. I mean dasg rules. I don't have exams. Probably because I live in BC, Canada

I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, so I thought I'd bring it up.
What's the guild policy on reviving 'old/dead' threads (a.k.a. 'necroing')?
Looking back at the history of this guild, I think there may be some threads that I'd be interested in commenting in. However the guild regulars at the time are already done with the discussion there, and the last post in those threads can be anywhere from several months to a year old...
Since repeat threads are not allowed, does this mean that subjects in topics which have been inactive for a long time can no longer be discussed in their respective threads? Or are we allowed to post in threads no matter how long its been since the last post?

Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Let me specify with the repeat threads rule. At one point we had too many threads that were about the same subject all on the first page of the forum. It was unnecessary and pointless. The rule about repeat threads was implicated to prevent/discourage that. 3nodding
While the matter regarding inactive discussion threads and wanting to post in them.
1.You are welcomed to make a new topic and start the discussion over again. A fresh start? You're welcome to quote the previous thread if you wish. =)
2.Contribute to it and let it be bumped back up. Theres a chance that the participants might be lurking and might respond back. I would prefer it if threads that are over half a year or older to not be bumped.
I prefer that past guild event threads do not get bumped. Pointless because, xD The events are over? [I'm considering locking them and moving them to sub-forums at the moment.]
Up to you.

@dasg: we should just take the old guild events and build and archive for that and then delete it if possible.
(p.s. I think yalie5 killed most thread discussions in the earier threads from way back when. rofl )
