Last year me and my friend Sammy. were at a Jrock table at Anime Central. the dude running it had his laptop open. to"Jibun Kakumei" PV playing. people around us were singing it. we were so clueless. so we quickly asked someone who it was.
we thought his voice was amazing! we base a lot of our music off the voices. i remember we asked the guy which CD had Jibun Kakumei on it. and he didn't know at all. =/ so my friend bought the 'Galyuu' CD.
and ever since then we've been big fans.

xd A couple of weeks ago, my friend had a video of him playing a guitar on her Gaian user page, and I went "hey hey, who's the guy with the gorgeous hair?" and she told me, and... I got horribly hooked.
D: Now I'm buying all his official CDs, ha! Within two weeks! I must be a sad person. rofl
But seriously, he has a beautiful voice, I haven't gotten this addicted to music in a long while.

SubtleAnarchy Am I the only one that never mistooken him for a girl? ^^;
Nah I knew he was a guy. (The first time I saw him he didn't look girly) The first time I saw him was in the Japanese on the inside guild in a topic for posting pictures of your favorite J rocker. He was in the second post and I was like 'awhmagod that is the sexiest man alive!'. I googled him but didn't get much because the post said Meevers. After looking round that one topic (well looking and drooling over like every picture) I found out that his name was Miyavi so I put that into youtube and heard Girls, Be Ambitious and ever since I have been in love with him and his music. Actually thats the same way I found out about Dir en grey, and an cafe, and The Gazette. But then again I had already heard the gazette when Satomi (the Japanese girl who stayed at my house when she was on a school trip to my school) played me them but I couldn't remember who they were. >.<Well anyway this is the first picture I ever saw of the sexyfull Miyavi

I found out about him here on Gaia. I would always see him in people's signatures, and people would talk about him, and a couple of the Jrock guilds I belong to have subforums about him, so finally I was like, "Ok, who the hell is this Miyavi dude and what's so great about him??" So I went over to good old Wikipedia (^_^), and looked him up. He sounded pretty interesting, so I got a few of his songs and I listened to one of them, which was Komoriuta Ken Love Song ^_^. I remember thinking that it kinda sounded like a song that could be on Katamari Damacy whee Anyway, since then, I've been hooked heart

I saw a picture of him during the Oresama movie around 2004 or so, and wondered who he was.
Later on the year I discovered his music and I listened to him and looked 3 months later and found out it was the same guy in my picture. It made me love him more ever since

Argh, Spiggy-sama discovred Miyavi via.. Shojou Beat. I kid not. (Shojou Beat is a manga magazine that has some other stuff in it too, like Moko-panda) My friend lent Spiggy-sama her September 2005 edition and there was an article on a music awards show. Gackt was on the list. >3
So Spiggy-sama went "Okaies, let's go a downloading!" Spiggy-sama instantly become a Gackt fan. And from October to November Spiggy-sama researched Gackt, and then J-rock. And visual kei.
So Spiggy-sama found myself Miyavi. Meow. >3
That's mainly it. (_(' Spiggy-sama forced him on her friends, and a bunch of various J-rock people and Visual kei bands. It's fun. Spiggy-sama is the only Japanese obsessed person in her town. >_<
