She gave a low chuckle and dropped down again cat walking over to him on her toes and fingertips, pinning him down. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Louise all but purred before rising and hoisting him up to his feet by the front of his uniform.
“Now be a good little boy scout and go get me my things from the cabinet. I’ve got a bounty to catch.”

Jenny Bones She gave a low chuckle and dropped down again cat walking over to him on her toes and fingertips, pinning him down. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Louise all but purred before rising and hoisting him up to his feet by the front of his uniform. “Now be a good little boy scout and go get me my things from the cabinet. I’ve got a bounty to catch.” Brooks, snuck off to the cabinet, first making sure that his men were too busy brawling to have seen what had just taken place. Within a minute he came back with the items. Tossing them at her feet, "have fun out there, b***h, and get yourself shot once or twice."

Arch the Angel Arch goes racing past Alloran, down the hall, and to the main area, where an open brawl is taking place. Arch got a running start, and was about to drop-kick Brooks when he caught himself and started heading for the door. He bulled through it, quickly making a turn and running down a back alley. ((almost missed this)) A few people glanced up as he ran by, especially from the Public Safey HQ. But the notice soon died down, as people in general were all a bit restless from the laws.

The cold, blank look that she’d had when she first came in returned to her face as Brooks threw her things on the floor. Crouching she gathered them up and stood, opening the right side of her trench coat and placing the gun in a hidden holster that wrapped around her waist and the ankle cuffs in a little side pocket.
Closing her coat up again she smoothed it out and gave Brooks a smile. “Maybe I should take you with me, Brookie. Something about having the officer who stabbed my first bounty with a piece of rebar just screams “bait” to me.”
And then she was gone, walking quietly and without notice through the streets and down a back alley.

Aly walked up to the PSHQ (I got tired of writing Public Safety HQ ^^; ). The place was a disaster. The front doors were wide open and she could see that there had been a brawl in there shortly before. Darn... I always miss all the exciting events...
She cautiously made her way towards the secretary's desk, passing three unconcious persons and man who was swearing as if it was the end of the world. She smiled to herself, itching to know what had just happened. As she passed the cafetiria, she noticed upturned tables. People weren't fighting anymore, but she could tell that they were still angry... about something; They were all cleaning up with grim and semi-angry faces.
She shrugged her shoulders and arrived at the secretary's desk, where papers were scattered and the chair overturned. "Oh great..." She mumbled softly and started picking up the papers.

"You must be the new night secretary." A young man with well trimmed darkblonde hair put out his hand. "I'm Lieutenant Carter, and I'm sorry you have to be in the middle of a mess like this," he motioned to the distress of the lower floor, "we had an unexplained incident this afternoon."

She straightened up and shifted the papers she had picked up to her left arm and resting them on her hip, leaving her right hand free to shake his hand. "It's nice to meet you Liutenant Carter. My name's Alianne, Aly for short" She smiled charmingly at him, then looked about at the mess. "What exactly happened here? If you don't mind my asking." She smiled shyly, acting the innocent, not too bright secretary that would probably be her role here.

Alloran was currently helping clean up away from the cafeteria, realising his poor aim wasn't going to make anyone in there very happy. He walked into the main room, and began to straighten things that had been knocked over, silently mulling over the images he saw.

Carter let out a soft sigh, "there's usually trouble on the first floor, a minor riot started, which of course is my area of focus, so whether Brooks started it or not, I got to be the one to settle it." He smiled with a half goofy half frustrated grin. "It's a pleasure to meat you miss," he smiled, a boy raised on propriety and manners. He turned towards the stairs but paused "Don't ever be afraid to call for me," he pointed to the phone where his office was one of the speed dials. "If Brooks or any of the others start giving you trouble, I'll be more than happy to come down and set them straight. I'd be mighty upset if a nice girl like you was being harrased in anyway." He nodded in emphasis, his cheeks turning a bit pink as he turned away.

Aly grinned mischeviously when he turned away. He was nice, and trusting... and a good source of information. She continued to clean the area around the desk where all the papers lay scattered. Pens, pencils, rulers, paperclips were sprinkled in an 8 ft radius. Must have been some brawl. She sighed inwardly.
After setting the desk to rights, she sat down and started looking through all the papers.

Most of the papers available to the secretary were basic beat schedules, and local PSO requests and complaints.

Mistress_forgotten ((umm.... what are beat schedules and PSO requests and complaints? redface )) (( xd a beat is basically the time and place that a cop overlooks, to make sure everythings going smoothly. And the PSO is Public Safety Officer requests--for body guards/odd jobs/political officials and the like, and the complaints are for people complaining about a theft or crime of some kind commited against their person.)

((ooooh. Thanks ED. sweatdrop xd )) Aly leafed through the few sheets of paper. After that she sat back in her chair and watched as officers and trainees walked about doing their own tasks. She hummed to herself and tapped her pen. Occasionally the phone rang, or someone showed up to make a request/complaint. But all in all, things were definitely settled down for the time being.

It was pretty late at night, and there was zero activity. Aly kept falling asleep in her chair, her head on her desk. Finally, she decided some fresh air would be good. She left a note saying "back in 10 minutes" on her desk and slipped away unnoticed. The night club was fairly close by and she wouldn't mind having a drink, even if it was against her job's policy.
