"Found anything yet?" she asked jimmy looking over his shoulder.

 "give me two seconds" Jimmy replied, "how is Clark anyway? in your hushed voice you sounded that you found the body of Jimmy Hoffa, or aliens on another planet" he joked "Bingo, well now I found two answers we were looking for" he pointed out the information, "the Renard's have a daughter, Katelyn.....and we now also know why they are co-founders of the institute. Their daughter has a medical record that starts when she was two...see?"

Chloe's eyes widen for a split second when Jimmy talkd about aliens on another planet, then she looked at the screen. "whoa. That explains it. not to mention the reason why they were keeping her sheltered and their co-ownership of the institute a secret... hm...thanks Jimmy."

at the name of miss Khan Jimmy shot up of the seat, "Oh cripes, I just remebered why I was running up the stairs before to see her!" he grabbed his camera from where he had left it on the desk, "ok well I always wondered where she would rip me a new one from I'll talk to you later while we head for Gotham anyway" with out another work he dashed for it not even caring he left his coffee on the desk.

Chloe laughed to herself and pulled out her phone. "Oh shoot" she said to herself as she realized her cell phone barely had any battery left to it. She hit her speed dial 1 and waited for Clark's voice to come up. "Clark! ok i don't have much time to talk my phone is on the merge of suicide. okay, So we founded out the reason why the renards are co-founders of the institution. They have a daughter, Katelyn, and she was born without sight... they founded the institution just before Swann was Paralyzed in an equestrian accident. Since Swann's late death, more people have donated to the institution, including the Luthors...Clark that is all i can say right now, my phone is just about to-" Chloe wasn't able to finish what she was saying. "damn" she said to herself. Working for 19 hours straight had its ups and down, not being able to charge her phone for almost 26 hours was definatly a down.

Lex sat at his desk and played with a pen in his fingers as a sign of deep content came into his voice. "Mr. Reynard this is for the best interest in the institution..." He paused to hear what Reynard had to say. "Yes...Yes i know you have delt with my father before...." Lex nodded as though the recipant could see him. " I assure you Mr Rayard, just because my last name is Luthor in no means does it relate my intentions to those of my father.....I understand he manipulated you before but-.... no, alright. I understand.... thank you Mr. Reynard, i assure you, you will not be disappointed-...yes... I understand. Good Bye" Lex Clicked off his phone and leaned back in his chair.

 Lana came into the small office they had set up for Lex since they arrived, "didn't sound like Mr. renard was happy with the wing reopening" she came over with a cup of coffee, "its not up to talon standards but its passable" she looked at the forms infront of him, "Bruce seems to have alot of hoops"

"nothing will ever meet talon coffee standards. But it will do." Lex instinctivly looked down at the forms she was referring to. "Your not kidding. But i believe i am fit enough to jump through them well enough. If not, I'll find a way around them. without the intent of being cliche 'If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn't lead anywhere.' lex sipped the java beverage. "reynard is just taking extra percautions. I don't blame himafter he had to deal with my Father before me. "

(I never said it was an astronomy lab, i was having Lex say that in the intention that Lana could use the research wing as a refrence place saing as Lex is funding it so it is most likely going to have the best books known to man in them)
