omg i HATE HATE the sax unless you can playi t wonderful otherwise i hate the sound of it its so ugly!!!!! and we havent had anyomre that good for like 5 years, since Jason Barr.

tis definatly the Sax players in my band... they sit right behind my section in the classroom, and honk and honk as loud as they can... if i didnt love my flute so much, i swear, i would turn around and SMACk them upside the head with it!..ut, its my baby. heart

Our entire percussion section. They never practice, so they suck really badly, and their to damn loud! scream As a flute, I have to sit next to them and only I know how loud they are. I swear, they never practise, because even I could play their parts better than they do. The parts that they haven't lost anyway. stare

The french horns for us.. there are only 3 of them.. One is a senoir who thinks he's better than everyone else in the band cause he has leg surgeries like every month.. and gets out of marching and stuff.. *sighs unhappily*. The next in line is very, very weird.. seriously.. and he is like, tone deaf, and can't find any pitches at all. The third is like my best friend, and she rocks, and the only reason she isn't second chair is because our director needs someone really good on third part.

For all those hating on the trumpets -- control is the hardest thing to learn on it, and most band directors don't teach it. A well-played trumpet is a thing of beauty, but most middle/high school trumpeters are too inexperienced to play with the skill that it requires.
And how could you not like horn? It's the hardest instrument, so maybe you guys are speaking of talent again, but it's got the most gorgeous, versatile sound EVAR.

Treyter I really dislike the Trumpets because they dont know when to stop practicing and they always screw up and start over again, and its irritating... their sound Sux!.... oh and snare's because their too loud, and also have no idea when to stop That sounds exactly like the trumpets in my band except they don't practice...they talk, they're never ready for their entrances and they don't stop with everyone else.
