You manage to beat the entire game and then feel depressed because the journey is over. Or because the ending sucked.

hmmm
-when you use quotes from games in real life
-when you have beaten every game you own more than 5 times
-when you name your kids after video game characters
-when you only use the weapon of your favorite video game character in any other game
-you don't want to beat the game because you don't want the adventure to end or you beat the game 20+ times to experience it over and over again

You know you're obsessed if you not only do comics/stories with your fave characters in them, but have an entire SERIES of such material... AND have chars based on yourself (if not yourself exactly) co-starring in them!
That's me right down to the letter, right there! biggrin

You guys rock. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head when you play so many first person shooters that you start to feel queasy.
When 80 percent of everything you own is game related.
When you strike the poses of your favorite video game characters after beating one of you friends(one of my favorite).
When you haven't completed every side quest in every single RPG that you have.
When you buy back up systems just in case your initial one reduces in performance.
When the last them you can remember thinking each night is how the much the weapons in the next town will be.

I HAVE MORE!
Some things have been brought to my atention that make me look video game obsessed at school:
-You wear a game over wristband, posion mushroom belt buckle, "not now I'm busy" shirt with a guy playing video games on it, and mario star earings all in one day
-You're idea of a fun night is a 12 hours LAN party which spans from 7 pm to 7 am [THIS FRIDAY FOR ME!] and go on about it in all your classes
-You put in video game character gifs in powerpoint presentations
-You have a nintendo or other console backpack
-The only purpose of leaving your house is to go to someone elses house to destroy their room while playing video games
-Your only reason for going to the outside world is to play DDR or PIU or Time Crisis and other arcade games
-You have a section on your mp3 player dedicated solely to video game music [in my case i have a KH, Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Mario sections]
-Your wall is over-flooded with video game scroll posters, and random magazine ripouts of game you like or want to get, and pictures of your favourite games that you printed out
-You sometimes accidentally sign a favourite characters last name as your last name at school [Guilty...XD]
-When you tell someone you kill them you use a video game characters name so that they will know how badly you're gonna kick their asses, but of course they have no idea what your talking about
-You don't let your parents get anywhere near your old systems for fear they will be thrown away [I don't throw or sell ANY systems. the new ones can wait, I like my old stuff.]
