I really like mine. It helps alittle on a stock gun, but it really shines when used with a response or e-grip.

I got a tippman A-5 for my birthday. ^_^ I've bought a remote line, and flatbarrel for it. I'm looking to buy a scope for my gun and maybe other things...any suggestions?

Get an e-grip, I have one and its the best upgrade that I have ever put onto a marker. It has several different firemodes, some are good for speed and others are good for sniping. If you ever decide to take your flatline off for added speed the E-grip is wonderful. If you get a doubble finger trigger, then you'll have even more speed. As you can probably tell, I like to shoot fast, but I also like to snipe. I recomend a red dot scope. It can be adjusted to improve accuracy and it still allows for an unobatructed view of the target. It doesn't have any magnification, but you don't really need a magnifying scope for the realitively short range of a paintball gun.

I was goint to buy that impulse that I posted in the pics thred but I'm able to hold my own in airball with my A-5. I'm thinking of getting a freak barrel and permanately running n2 through my gun because I found a place that sells it cheap. What do you think that I should do to make it more competitive on the field? Any sugestions on bolts or new feeds.

Some sort of stock, adjustable being preferable. The flatline barrel kinda makes the gun front heavy, so a stock will put more weight on the back for better balance, and it helps with aiming a bit since it gives you more stablility.

Comp air system. Makes the gun more air efficient and reliable. Dead on products also makes a new bolt for the A-5 (pro-seal bolt i believe it's called). Instead of plastic, it's aluminum, and it's also got o-rings, so it should be a little more air efficient and longer lasting. If it's possible, also get a drop foward with the comp air system, so that the gun is shorter and there's more weight towards the middle instead of the back.
