Myoa giggled herself, then protested, realizing what Degewi was chuckling about. "Well, I can't see the river behind us, but I know it's still there." She pointed out.
She smiled, and answered, "We're here." "Here" was a simple place. It was a huge ledge, halfway up the mountain. There was nothing special about it, except for this old fallen, hollow log. Myoa whispered, "Can you hear it?" The wind was blowing into the log, creating a beautiful echo. It's tone was rich and full, although rather soft. She closed her eyes blissfully, then said, "This is where my mom taught me how to fly..."

"Myoa sometimes your wisdom just blows me away." Degewi said with a smile in reply to what she had pointed out about the river. Still though did Degewi wish he could lay his eyes on his love or see were they stood now. Or to even jusy to know what seeing really was. Not till Myoa asked had he heard something did he really take a moment to listen to things other than Myoa or his own thoughts. "What is that sound, Myoa?" He asked before she spoke of what ther place was. "I feel honored to be here then." Degewi said before nuzzling Myoa. "Did you come here often, because if so, maybe she can hear what you say from here, maybe she can talk to you." Degewi spoke once more remembering old myths.

She smiled and gently nudged Degewi. "I may be open-minded, but I'm much too young to have great wisdom." Quietly laughing, she answered, "You're hearing the wind dance in a old log." She paused, then added, "Isn't it amazing how something so simple can be so beautiful?" Myoa nuzzled her mate back, then replied, "Yes, sometimes, I like to think that's my mom singing..."

"Your never too young to be wise about something. Its when you think you are wise about everthing that you are not wise." Degewi was silent after he was told what he was hearing. To him it had never sounded like wind in a log, but it didnt quite sound like a voice either. Closing his eye lids he concentrated on the sound like a unicorn stallion had once thaught him long ago. "I...I think I can hear her Myoa....I could be wrong though."

Myoa laughed. "That is true, wisdom in ignorance, and ignorance in wisdom." She smiled, and leaned against her mate's bulk. "Her tune may not have words, but it's still nice to know that she's there." Myoa shook her mane restlessly. She normally wasn't superstistious, but there were always exceptions. She did believe in fate, angels, mircales. She sighed, and turned back to Degewi. "If you don't mind, I would like to return to my teepe and pay my human a final visit. Then, we can go look for a pernament home." She shook her head ruefully, then continued, "I've never really settled down, since I ran away as a filly, but you know, I think I would like to now." She smiled, and gently brushed a kiss on Degewi's cheek. "I'll see you soon," she whispered, before streaking back through the sky.
