Hiro laughed,then said in a hushed voice "I have never had a brother,let alone a twin.Is it nice?I mean,being able to count on him if you ever need help?" Hiro looked into the forest.The only family he had was the old man in the Knight village,and Hiro doubted he was that great in combat.

"Hm...I like having my brother." Hikaru ceased his stroking and laid his arms around brothers head and laid his head lightly on top of his. It was a bit of a hug really. "I love my brother, he's always there for me." He moved his arms and kissed his brother's forehead lightly, making his stir. "Oops..." Kaoru's eyes fluttered open for a moment and he lifted himself from Hikaru's lap. It didn't take him very long to realize there was another person there. He moved himself behind Hikaru and sat with his legs laced in front of him. His dark eyes stared into the water of the spring and watched the many things that lay beneath the surface. A look of serenity fell upon his face as it always did when he found a quiet place. It may not be heavenly, but water soothed him. Perhaps moving from the water village of Kiri to another water village of Taki was a good thing. Hikaru barely moved when Kaoru removed himself from the way of the conversation. He was always quieter when people other than Hikaru was around so it didn't bother him any.

Hiro smiled wide and flung his hand towards Kaoro and said "Hiro Knight!" He squinted his eyes a little bit from the smiling and held his hand out.He already knew much about Kaoro, but its always polite to introduce yourself."Panties myself" Hiro said jokingly with a laugh.

(wow...i feel like i'm writing too much XD especially compared to your posts >.<')
Kaoru's eyes stayed on the water, even with Hiro's offer of aknowledgment. It was only until he mentioned the panties that his head turned quickly, with a trace of slight pink in his cheeks. His dark cold eyes darting from Hiro's face to Hikaru's. Hikaru could be seen with a look of knowing; knowing he was going to either be yelled at, or beaten. Either way...it was going to hurt.... "Hikaru!" He said growled deeply. His hand found its way to his brother's shirt collar. Bringing his face closer to his, he asked in a threatening voice, "What did you say." It was more of a statement but filled with annoyance. "N-Nothing brother!" Hikaru said nervously. A small sweat drop could be seen falling down his cheek as his hand reached up to take hold of the one on his collar. "P-Please release me?" He asked, the scared sound resinating in his voice. Kaoru's eyes stayed on him for a moment more before letting go of his collar and going a bit farther down the springs edge and taking another seat. He'd completely ignored Hiro, that was for certain. "S-Sorry about that..." Hikaru oppologized. "It's not smart to tease him..."

Hiro clenched his fist and drew it back slightly."Well,I should not have said anything" He said with a lesser smile.He crossed his legs and untied his head band.He rubbed the symbol and gave it a bright sheen.He put it back on his head like a bandana,like he likes it.He rubbed his eyes and yawned a bit before saying "Y'know,I could use a nap myself...".
((yes yes,my posts are short biggrin
I could make them long,but to me its no point.Why use a paragraph describing your surrounding when you have before >.>

Hikaru gave a forelorn smile as Hiro spoke. "It's fine. He's just...well...Kaoru really." Hikaru didn't exactly know what to say at this point. He watched carfully as Hiro undid his head band and retied it. He remembered when he use to do the same thing. Now it didn't really matter to him all too much. There were nicks and scratches from previous battles and other things that he couldn't remember where he got them from. To him, the more scratches on your head band, the more experienced the fighter. Kaoru had stayed quiet in his own little world. The water soothed and relaxed him, making him a bit tired once more. "If you are tired then you should rest." Hikaru said with a smile. He could hear the sound of Kaoru's laboring breath. Apparently he was still tired as well. "I can watch for both of you if you'd like?" Kaoru didn't move an inch to his brother's words. Didn't matter to him in the least.

"That would be great,I have no home anywhere close,and even in the safety of the village,I do feel that sleeping in the middle of nowhere is not smart." He stretched and yawned again.His eyes begin to droop and he stood up,dusted himself off,and walked only a few feet away to a grassy plume errupting from the side of the spring."I think I may have to take your offer on that"Hiro said with a wink.He pulled his headband over his eyes and nestled himself onto the ground and could already feel himself detach from the world around him,and slip into a world of dream.

Hikaru laughed as Hiro took his offer so quickly. "Alright then. Kaoru-kun, you too." He patted his lap softly, welcoming his brother to sleep on him again. Kaoru watched Hikaru for a moment before moving himself closer. He was silent, though. It made Hikaru a bit nervous to say the least. Perhaps he was still angry from Hiro's earlier remark? Kaoru was sitting beside Hikaru now, staring into his eyes. In less than a moment, he had dove at his brother, knocking him to the ground. Of course, it was light enough so he didn't hurt him. "K-Kaoru!" Hikaru had exaimed. "Shut up." Kaoru said sternly, laying his head on his brother's chest. He had curled up beside his brother and closed his eyes. All Hikaru could do was laugh and drape his arm around his brother's head and offer himself up as a pillow. Kaoru had moved himself so he had one arm over his brother's torso. It was a weird sight, that was for sure. It was normal for the two though. They had always slept together, and doing so was normal for them. If people weren't careful to notice they were brother's, they may think them a homosexual couple.

Before Hiro knew it,he stood in a huge temple.It had ceilings higher than Hiro had ever seen before,and the walls were covered in pictures of armored knights attacking people who seemed to live along a coast.There was blood everywhere.A deep laugh came from the end of the temple,a some 500 feet away.Without warning,a stone fell from the sky and smashed Hiro,pinning him to the ground.He tossed in his sleep and made a panicked expression on his face. He looked to his left and a large red being stood next to him.Hiro recognized him only as the Tanku God.Its smile curled and it extended its fingers towards the boulder that pinned Hiro.
"You must be the new branch member...It has been many years since one has entered the walls of my temple.I had expected more from one of my own disciples.
The God reached his finger down towards the rock and magma poured from his finger tip.It started to creep towards Hiro,and in a matter of seconds,started to burn through his skin.Hiro wailed and struggled but the boulder held him down.He felt his ribs crushing and sweat poured from his face as fast as the skin poured from his bones.He was sweating and kicked out occasionally,his facial expression grew even more terrified. How could one of my own be so pathetic!You wail like a child!
The Gods smile turned twisted and he threw the rock towards the side and picked up Hiro's mangled body.He threw it across the temple and it hit the wall with a thud.Hiro slid to the ground and again,before he could think,another boulder crushed down on him.Hiro started speaking to himself very faintly.He was curled into a semi-tight ball and his body was heating up.The cool air did nothing to his skin,because this dream was as strong as a Genjutsu,and even tricked all his senses into thinking he was truly being crushed and burned alive.

Hikaru wasn't very happy with the sounds that he'd been hearing from Hiro. Moving his brother off of him, he walked over and sat next to Hiro. He watched as he mumbled to himself, and that face he was making....it must be some nightmare.... "Hiro-kun?" He said lightly, touching his shoulder a bit. With how deep asleep he seemed to be, he rocked the younger boy's shoulder a bit, before moving his head onto his own lap. "Wake up." Hikaru said with a nervous smile. Patting his cheek lightly, he brushed the hair from his face. "Come on now." Hikaru didn't like to see such a look on anyone's face, let alone a young boy. He'd have to get him away from his bad dreams soon before they got worse.

As Hiro burned,every once in a while the God looked distracted,as if something were bothering it from the outside.He reacted to this by turning up the heat.
"It looks like someone it trying to reach you...I better get my fun in while I still can.."
Hiro whimpered a small bit as the heat resumed.He would have sudden flashes that seemed to be tearing apart the nightmare he was in.He saw Hikaru standing leaning over him,and trying to wake him up.Hiro struggled and tried to break the rocks pinning him down,and it seemed to work.The rock was disappearing,and the Tanku God was not pleased.
Hiro shifted around in Hikaru's lap,and his eyes would twitch every once in a while.He clenched his fists and the look on his face slowly turned normal."Hi..Hikaru" He said faintly.
Hiro kicked and punched under the rock,and the Tanku god looked startled.
"So it can put up a fight"
Hiro started to yell within his nightmare for Hikaru."Hikaru!Hikaru!Hikaru!" He chimed over and over.He thought that maybe his cries would be echoed through his lifeless,sleeping body.

Hikaru watched as the younger shinobi continued to move and shift. He stroked the hair from his face and brought him up closer to his own chest so Hiro was sitting up. "Come on now, Hiro-kun. Don't let a dream beat you up." A nervous laughter came from him as he let Hiro's body lean agains his own. It was when he heared Hiro say his name that he smiled. "Yeah, come on. Wake up now." Hikaru looked over to see Kaoru still asleep soundly on the ground a few feet away. He always did sleep at the weirdest times. Sighing, Hikaru once more moved his head to wake Hiro. What was it the kid was dreaming of? It must be something big for him to be so against waking up....

Hiro broke from the rock and made a leap for the door.The temple was enormous,and he had to sprint all he could to make it to the door.He ran and panted as he felt his flesh growing back.He grabbed the handle of the gigantic door and began to open it when the god grabbed his leg.Hiro was slammed against the floor."Hi....Ka.....Ru!" Hiro said painfully as he pulled himself towards the door.
"Hikaru.."Hiro said once more.He was almost out of this poweful nightmare.Hiro's hand slowly raised and grabbed Hikaru's arm.He held onto it gently yet was not ready to let go.
Hiro pulled away from the god and got a second hand on the door,and started to pull even harder.The gods grip was loosening as the world around him dissipated.Things were going blurry and the god yelled frustrated words over and over as his body began to fade away.

Hikaru was begining to become more anxious with the way Hiro's voice was sounding. "C-Come on....snap out of it Hiro..." Hikaru held him closer to his body as he began to rock back and forth, to slowly bring Hiro back into reality without scaring him too much. He felt Hiro grab his arm, that was a start. He smiled and placed his chin on the younger shinobi's head. "Come on." He knew it was quite odd for him to do such things, even though he barely knew the guy. But, he was a fellow Taki shinobi and a younger child. He was aware of it, but continued anyway. Hikaru wasn't the type of person to just let somethign like this happen. Even if it was someone other than his brother in some sort of pain.

Hiro pulled a kunai from his pocket and threw it at the God.As soon as it made contact,the world disappeared in a flurry of light and sound,and then it was black.He floated for a moment and then he saw Hikaru.He drifted towards him,and grabbed his hand.
Hiro's eyes opened suddenly to reveal the beginnings of tears.He looked at Hikaru in awe,and he felt odd.Hikaru held him in his arms,and pulled him close.Hiro threw his arms around Hikaru and said softly, "Thank you..Thank you..".He sniffed and continued to hold Hikaru.Hiro had never felt this way before,and he had never felt so protected.
