I'm diggin it... Have you tried multiple layers? I tried getting into the whole stencil biz, but I don't have the patience to cut out every single peice. What do you use for the stencil itself? Cardboard? Sheets?

Thanks. And yeah, that's the only way I do it. Each color has a different layer.
I use big pieces of construction paper that my school has. They're all 18" x 24".

I can see the banksy style in it... The tattoos and piercings on fine art... haha, I like it.

Thanks! That's the big influence in all my artwork. Stenciling isn't really my focus, it's tattoos. To me, they're the surest form of art.
My art teacher told me all the time that my work reminded him of Banksy's stuff. He'd give me articles and printouts to read about him. I really love his work.

Banksy is a huge influence to me. Not in my art so much, but in my views and take on things; he makes me think. I gotta pick up that book of his sometime at Chapters. I love stencils, but I've yet to do much with them. Just some throwie-stencils and stencil letters. I wanna give a good try to all different forms of graff. (Except etching. If that stuff gets on you it can seriously hurt your bones and such. I'm not risking that just to get up)

The hardest part for me to start stenciling is knowing when there's a mistake in my stencil, or if it's going to be too flimsy to withstand at some point. I have to remember that everything needs to be connected, and finding a solution to that problem.
The second hardest thing was finding good paper. You need something light, but not too light. And you need something that won't curl after you spray it once. That's what happened to my very first serious stencil. It was awful, but good thing it wasn't a very good stencil.

You gotta try every aspect of graffiti to really understand it. I got some on my hands before, it just burned. But IDK if it ******** me up or anything, there's no scar. confused Life should be lived. Like graffiti, go BIG or stay home.. LOL

I love the Kanaboshi one, Its rad. I like the twist you have done to them, with the red tattoo type stuff. Its mean beast.
Also the art of ruin on, you did a awesome job on the shading. The underspray worked really good.
My stencils haven't been something to write home about yet. I usually knick off with old roadside ad things. you know, those plastic things that usually advertise houses or whatever. They don't warp when you spray onto them and they last forever. The only problem with them is that its near nigh impossible to get into great detail with 'em cause of how hard they are to cut.
I tried making a mini stencil for my stickers the other day. Ha, It was a good idea. but I need to work on the design a bit more.

Thanks, man. Really, it means a lot.
Jeeze. Those things are thicker than cardboard, aren't they? Or are we thinking of different things?

TONIC_4841 RIP Guru, founder of Gang Starr: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn132/Livid_Tranquil/DSC00802.jpg This is pretty good!
As constructive criticism, I think you should add more depth to his shirt, and his nose is looking pretty flat, too. If you wanted to get crazy, you could work with two layers: one for outlines and darker shadows one for lighter shadows
