Aw man, that made my eyes water. crying

I haven't lost a pet of my own but my friend recently had to put down her dog...it was really sad for me to hear because I was close to him. She couldn't pay for medical bills and he had a bunch of tumors and such, so I think he's better off now.

Man if I keep thinking about that poem I'm going to really start to cry. cry

I first read this about 6 years ago when my cat Smokey died. I still cry every time I read it.

I am sorry I didn`t have alot of time for you, but i wish I hadn`t been busy, and I hope you rest well, and when we meet on the rainbow bridge, my heart will be complete again. I will never forget that day where you looked up in my eyes as i picked you up, for you were sick, and you were staring at me with deep sorrow, for you knew it was time. My heart still beckons for you, but I`m cool, knowing that you knew you were loved, and cared for.

Many pets have passed away, and we can`t help but feel a little sad, but all of us should know that our animal friends know they are loved and missed, but we all know when the time comes we will have to stay behind, but our animal friends know, that one day, we will catch up with them.




Animals are a miracle, and don`t forget it.

i never wanted my pet to go. But he did. Although he didnt want to die since his eyes were open and he was actually smiling. He hid himself when he died. crying i cant forget him So im still thinking should i embalm my pet or have him cremated since he is still safely buried in a glass case. in my backyard.

We have a pet aftercare facility in the area that specializes in funerals for the dogs. It can be as elaborate as you want it to be. They do cremations, and you can get any type of urn for the ashes you want. They even have contacts with artists who can paint your dog's portrait from a picture.

Also, they have scrapbooking programs for owners of pets who have passed. The group work does wonders for recovery.
