Inuyasha for the following reasons.
1. He protects Kagome because he loves her
2. He is not perverted
3. He does not use people as tools like Naraku
4. He doesn't act like a bratty little kid that SHippo is

Sephiralen Umm, I hate to point it out, but you forgot a good number of male characters... xd Anyhow, my favorite male character is Inuyasha. He just cracks me up and makes the whole show more interesting! Of course, that is his job as main character, but you know... blaugh I so agree InuYasha is just the best, no doubt about it. When he flicks Myoga of gives Shippo a beating it is hilarious! blaugh
