Okay, just as it says, my friend is having a reoccuring nightmare problem. No, I'm not trying to pull some "my friend" excuse.

Okay, she says that it's in a park near by to where she lives and it's at night time... She guesses at around 11:00pm. Then she is being chaced by some sort of animal/beast... She just knows it's on four legs because she's seeing the dream through the eyes of the beast. Okay, so the beast gets her and it rips her appart, killing her, and after seeing some of the gory parts of her dream through the beasts eyes, she wakes up at around 3:00am. And it's happened for the past week for her.

Is this some sort of sign for her?

What's going on in life for her? (Ask her that - don't worry about telling us, it's a discussion point. All privacy is respected. xd ) Dreams messages from our subconcious about our daily lives, so by looking at what's happening in life, maybe you can find some answers.

Generally, a chase means that something that has been put off is catching up all at once, or something big won't go away, or something is generally stressful. Clearly, this thing is very threatening. I think these dreams are a warning of what will come if she doesn't deal with 'the beast' (the thing that's worrying her), before it catches up with her. In short, the results will be messy.

I used to also have a recurring nightmare awhile ago---it was dreadful and I can still to this day vividly see everything. it's really weird too because it deals with the one girl my mom used to watch before some incident forced her and her brother not to be baby-sat by my mom anymore---it has nothing to do with my mom and everything to do with the mom of the kids...anyways.....

This girl is currently 10 I had this dream about the girl, we'll call her "mary" for security reasons after my mom no longer watched her.....the dream:

mary was dropped off at an abandoned church at night. it happened to be on a night that the moon wasn't visible. she was left to wander aimlessly around this church. the church was very big and located down a dismal dirt path. she just wandered all alone in the dark, no light anywhere. She was really bored, and wandered down these heavy wooden stairs, where a candle light could faintly be seen. The next thing I know is that she was chained to one of those torture beds, shackled to it. Something had slashed her until she died

Any thoughts on this? I had this same dream for many nights, weeks even and it horrified me every time and lead me to be in tears each morning crying emo

I have a problem with NOT dreaming.
I've been having horrible nightmares every night, never really with a recurring theme or anything. And then they went away, but I stopped dreaming entirely, or else I just can't ever remember them in the morning.

I took a semester of psychology and have since been interested in dreams...well I've always been interested in dreams....hehe.

Well, chilecavy~guineapig, maybe you should figure out what is giving you these nightmares so they can go away. Look at the symbols in your dreams to help figure it out. Mostlikley it isn't a psychic attack or anything, but somethingragin inside of you: emotions; a problem; an event. Whatever it is, look for ways to solve it. I think there is some spells out there too to help you with it smile

It's sad you don't have dreams anymore or often. I always love dreams becuase they tell interesting things aout myself, whats going on inside of me, and every once in awhile I get a visit from some spiritual being.

Yeah most of us can't remember our dreams in the morning. I heard from someone once that you have almost 100 dreams a night! and you only remember the oncesyou want to, and some arejust unimportant short ones. Weird huh?

A way to remember them better is to keep a dream journal and write your dream down the minute you wake up. If you still can't remember, don't get up right away. Sit up in be awhile and try to remember. It usually comes back to you. If not, it probably might show up in bits of memory throughout your day.

Have an awesome day! Dream away! biggrin

I had this crazy dream (story of my life, thats something I say just about every morning) But in this one dream that I remember very vividly;

So I was at this cabin by a lake and I was sitting on a kind of dune and this chick who had been rude to me before walks up and asked if my dad could talk to trees, I was like, I don't know, its possible. And then all of the sudden this tiger is heading towards us and I tell her to run and I fight the tiger. I grabbed a short piece of rope and sat on the tigers back pulling the rope around its head in its mouth and then I cut its head off from the mouth up.
I walked back to the cabin and tossed the head at my brother and his friend who had been sitting on the couch and I was like "I just killed a tiger..." o.O

Then I walked to the next room where my dad was sitting by a fire place and I asked him if he wanted a new rug (as in a new fresh killed fur rug)

Then I woke up.
I never really looked for meaning in it, I just took it as a very odd dream.

I have so many very odd dreams, lately I have been dying a lot in dreams and its really fascinating, I've been shot in the face, the head, the gut, stabbed, fallen from a tall building, ripped apart by wild beasts, etc. I think my favorite was being shot in the head, I was in a swimming pool so once shot I could see the blood pouring out of my head and kind of floating in the water in front of me.

I always have weird dreams as well. Although, I've never died in any of them. The only thing that has remained constant with my dreams is that my boyfriend is always in my dreams.... every day since I met him and he was even in some before I met him.

Wow, okay.
I can understand that now, because something like that, in your explaination, happened today.

The Spam Fairy
I almost never dream from my own point of view.
Usually I'm someone else, not really knowing who exactly it is...
Mostly I switch between first person and third. I'm often not in my dreams at all.

im like that too. in my dreams, things are mostly seen from above. when i am in the dreams, i never have any control. im just along for the ride. is that normal?

I used to always remember my dreams, but lately it's been less and less so. But I never dream from my own perspective - it's always from back and slightly above. Also, it's usually not even me that I'm 'following' - I mean, I read the dreams like it's me, that's how I feel, but it's not my body, even if it is my conciousness.

Also, a lot of things seem to make perfect sense while I'm in the dream, and of course they don't in real life, when I wake up.

Also, I am trying to learn how to lucid dream. That would be SO cool. :3

Lately, it's been a bit hard for me to remember my dreams. I'll go to bed and tell myself that I'll remember everything. It just hasn't been happening. But when I am dreaming, it's being told in my own perspective...but I can see myself as the actions are happening.

Oh yes, and animals rarely show up in my dreams, but when they do, it's a wolf. Usually it's preventing me from some sort of danger, but in the dream I'm always scared of it.

What does a wolf mean?

There has been something reoccuring in my dreams the past couple of weeks.

There is always something dangerous in my dreams; something I have to protect myself and/or others from. It's never the same entity, but the way I defend is always the same power.

I hold up my hand as though charging it up; I feel i grow very warm and powerful. And then at the whim of my choosing, I blast what looks like a pearl-coloured (white with liquid/fluid colouring of pinks, purples, and blues) ball of plasma. When I'm awake, I can do the same charge-up feeling with my right hand.

What exactly is up?
