Kana watched him for a moment, one hand still on the back of her own head. As soon as he turned though, she quickly rubbed lightly at her face a few times, knowing full well how red it still was. After a moment, it began returning to the regular almost pale skin of normal. She let herself be momentarily distracted by the little kids running around. The sudden urge to play with them hit her, but she shook her head, forcing herself to stay still. She turned to face Kazan as she held out her hand and then smiled, accepting it. She kind of felt like a little kid being led around everywhere, but she didn't mind, and she knew Kazan probably didn't think of it that way. Besides, if they didn't, it was very likely Kana would have stayed in that garden, or wandered off somewhere else.

Sayo was still in front of the two of them, as they followed him. "Don't worry, Kana, no one will give you a hard time. Although Abi doesn't speak good english, Kaze does," she smiled, refering to the old one. She wondered, though, if Kana even remembered about the dinner, although it didn't really matter if she did or didn't. "Soooo, you want to tell me your relationship with my brother?" Sayo asked, to which Kazan just chuckled and looked to the side and towards the garden, as though to avoid the coversation. "I mean, there has to be something between you two for him to have brought you here, right?" he continued on. He was wondering if she was another 'i'm bored' case like so many girls that were brought there were; although, none of them were invited to the dinner. They just stayed there for a day and... well, they never returned.

Kana's ear twitched as she was broken from her thoughts by Kazan again. But she smiled at the other girl, until she realized what she'd said. "Kaze does?" she echoed, wondering why she needed to say that. After all, she'd already met Kaze... Unless, was there another Kaze somewhere? But her attention switched to Sayo before she could ask about it. Her head tilted towards him for a moment, and then a bright smile spread across her face. "He said I could be his little sister!" she cried happily.

Sayo almost fell over, hearing her response, due to shock. "His lit-little sister?" he repeated, just looking over his shoulder with a slight blush from making a fool of himself. Damn it, he thought, looking back ahead. "I... I see," he said in an almost strained voice, Kazan giggling as she turned her head to face foward again. "And yes, oni-chan, Kaze! He's the head of house," she smiled, still not specifying which one.

"Yes!" Kana replied cheerfully, though she blinked as she saw Sayo was blushing. At first she didn't understand at all, but then a sudden thought occurred. Did he think they were maybe going out or something? At this she nearly let her face flush red as well, but quickly banished the thought for now. Though, she couldn't help wondering if that's what most everyone here was thinking as well. She distracted herself when Kazan spoke, and stared at her for a moment. She wasn't sure, but she definitely hoped it wasn't the Kaze she knew who was the head of the house, because she'd yelled at him before. She kept telling herself he was too young to be, though you never know...

Kazan laughed. "It's the girl's grandpa, don't worry! Kaze...would be an interesting head, though," she admited, shrugging. "His names Kaze, too, so I doubt you'll forget his name," she smiled, swinging their arms back and forth as they were still clasped together. "So, Kana, what do you think of our mother?" Sayo suddenly asked, although sligtly quiet as to not attract any attention from the kids.

"Oh..." Kana blinked. She began glancing around again, thinking of how wonderful it'd be to sleep out by the garden tonight. Though, she was sure she'd be given a room. Then again, she could always sneak out as her cat form... No! she told herself firmly, trying to push the thoughts aside. She looked quickly back towards Sayo at his question and then smiled. "She's... interesting," she said with a laugh, but realized he'd spoken quietly, so she kept her voice lowered as well. "But I like her," she finished with a nod. "She didn't even care she had to cut a hole in the pants for my tail!"

Sayo smirked, chuckling softly. "It's because she's used to people who need holes like that and stuff," he said, almost matter-of-factly. "I mean, she makes hols for Kaze all the time since he has those wings. He doesn't make them for Kazan because she has Kaze to protect her. Either way, though, most of her customers need a little snip in the clothes," he said as they made a turn; there was already a few people waiting outside a door. Three of them, anyway; two in the same clothing as Sayo, just one was a light, sky blue, and the other was a deep red with shades of light red. With them, was another man clad in complete black; they seemed to be talking about something, but they were all too far away to hear. "Oh jeez, he's here too?" Kazan said, glancing quickly at Sayo before glancing ahead, "and he's actally talking to Koichi?"
[in comes the step dad who hates koichi o.O]

Kana tilted her head at Sayo as she listened, seemingly fascinated by what he was saying. She'd never met anyone who sold clothes specifically for people with wings and tails. She'd always had to cut holes in them for herself. She blinked as they rounded a corner to find three people standing by a door. Her ears tilted towards them automatically, but she couldn't hear anything. She glanced back at Kazan curiously. "Why wouldn't he talk to him?" she asked uncertainly. She suddenly hoped there wasn't any type of family fued [sp?], though it seemed like there could be, since there seemed to be a lot of people around so there were bound to be some people who couldn't get along.

Sayo grunted; that man wasn't his father, either. Most of the kids in the house had different fathers, although none of them really cared about something like that. "He doesn't like most of us. He's the first man to stick around with Abi once he found out that most of us have powers. Everyone else leaves, even if Abi was pregnant. Either way,he doesn't like any of us except his own two kids. They're the youngest, but all the same," he explained, staring at the man as they continued an approach.
Koichi was standing right in front of the man has he talked with a slight cold expression,Kaze next to him with his hands in his pocket, the same cold expression as he stood sideways, his body facing the on coming crowd, his head turned to the man.

Kana frowned, ears drooping slightly. "Oh..." she said softly, still watching the three. It made her try to recall memories of her own father, but the images were faint and fleeting, not lasting long enough for her to truely remember. The one clearest though, was the time at the beach, and she thougt she might only remember that because she'd gone recently with Koichi and that might have refreshed it some. She continued watching Koichi and Kaze, noting their expressions as they drew nearer. Though she soon dropped her eyes to the ground.

The man, who seemed to still be talking, tunred his head as he heard footsteps approaching. He stopped in mid sentence with the boys as they just looked each other, glad they didn't have to talk anymore. "Oy! Hello there!" he called, starting away towards them, but Kaze and Koichi were faster and had gotten to them before he was even five steps away from where he'd been a moment before. "I see...you've met my evil double," Koichi said, smirking as he looked down at his brother. "You better not have given Kitty a hard time," he warned.

Kana lifted her gaze again as her ears perked, hearing the man call out to them. Though she blinked as Kaze and Koichi rushed forward to intercept them. She tilted her head at Koichi and then smiled. "No, he was fine!" she nodded, smiling cheerfully. She chose not to mention she'd been tricked by him, partly because she still felt embarassed by it. Instead she just smiled up at him, hands clapsed together behind herself because she didn't know what else to do with them.

Koichi, who had been glaring at his brother, looked down at her, his gaze softening. "Well, that's good then, isn't it?" he smiled, putting a hand on her head just as Sayo had done. "Do you not trust me that much?" Sayo asked, crossing his arms in disbaleif. "You two...are so rude," said the man as he finally approached; he was mumbling under his breath and talking about Kaze and Koichi. "Well, then, who might you two be?" he asked, smiling a missing tooth grin at Kazan and Kana; Kazan didn't answer, and instead just looked up at him, an eye brow raised, and a look of disgust and disbaleif on her face.

Kana grinned, ears flattening back slightly as he placed his hand upon her head again. But they perked again immediately after, and she laughed quietly at Sayo's question. She wished she'd had siblings to play with growing up. She was distracted though, as the man finally caught up and made his way over. She blinked at him, then glanced at Kazan as she saw she just stared at him. Kana froze, not sure what to do. She ended up smiling weakly towards the man for just a second before dropping her gaze to the ground, hands figditing nervously before her.
