alphabetrapper the Jack Sparow one is real? eek That's dedication and very cool. Yes, the one from the first movie was fake but then he decided to get it pemanent. He flipped the image over so the sparrow faced toward him and then got it permanent, it's dedicated to his son-John Christopher Depp III, or nicknamed Jack for short. 4laugh

Mel-Bert I wonder why he's gotten so many. You hardly see any of them on a regular basis! He barely shows them off! Well, I suppose it's good that we don't see everything all the time. He's very outwardly reserved, but this is like his rebellion, I supposes...a private rebellion. I guess so, but he says the tattoos stand for significant points in his life. I think there is something about his body being a journal of ink. whee

Nicole-chan angel_of_joy how many tattoos does johnny have now? does anyone know for sure? I didn't even know he got any tatoos at all... sweatdrop Well I counted all the pictures the were posted and it looks like he has at least 8, I think.

Purple Haze777 is it weird to draw johnny's tatoos on yourself?!? is it weird to HAVE one of johnny tattoos? lol i got the one on his index finger last year, i love it, the reason why i got it is because im interested in going into film and i see him as my idol, im also getting a tim burton and my fav bands logo

Ditto, it's very nice. ^^ I also have this odd fondness over his number '3' tattoo that's on his left hand in between his index finger and thumb-- I don't know why, but I love it. Apparently he has it because he believes the number three is a mystical number (like triangles, trinity, two people make another person, etc.) ^^ I read that in an interview, and I find that neat too.

I love his Jack Sparrow one, and he got it because he felt that Captain Jack Sparrow was a part of him and he wanted to remember it forever.

I love the Jack one too. ^^ But I'm pretty sure that he got it in honour of his son Jack, he just flipped the image of the bird to that it pointed to him. x3
